Chapter Ten

SHAEL
My brain was filled with the thoughts of yesterday. This was another headache for me, The Business Woman. She was following me everywhere like a tail. I agreed, I should inform him before leaving his house but he couldn't set a watcher for me. It was quite annoying.
Why this baby sitter. I thought.
She was a business woman but now turned into a babysitter. I've fed up with it. I told Guru that I don't need her, yet he sent her here. I'm sneaking out, that's it. I wore a black color's lingerie, black dress, black snicker and braided hair.
" Oh! erroneously I lost my bracelet. Can you help me to find it out? " I requested Nance who was my babysitter. It really gets on your nerves when someone continuously watches over you like you are some kind of television, phone, laptop or computer's screen.
" Sure, ma'am. " She said with respect.
I was feeling bad whatever I was going to do now. It's Guru's fault, " Thanks, I pretended to search for it. Please watch for it in the bathroom while I grope here. " I said.
" Okay " she went there. When I got she had entered in it, I moused near the bathroom and covertly locked her in.
' I never had a bracelet.Time to sneak out.' I told myself happily. I had already made a call to order the cab. It'd be waiting for me outside. Somehow I've to cross the main door. Fortunately, There was only one guard.
" Lucky day!" I murmured.
I will junt the whole Chandigarh and will be back before anyone knows it, especially Guru. Babysitter would know it within a few minutes. But it's her punishment for being my cute babysitter.
First It was the famous Rose Garden which boasts 825 types of flowers. It’s quite a popular attraction where I saw the beautiful and colorful flowers. I love mother nature. It was a mesmerising sight to see so many flowers at once. I stayed for half an hour.
Then I went to Sukhna lakh. But I did not spend much time there as I have a lack of time.
My life flipped in these past days. I wasn't staying with my mother and in her house anymore. My bestie deceived me. I wanted to leave alone for some time. I was feeling suffocated. I need fresh air. Forgetting Sammie's deception, Guru's ruling nature, I'll spend my whole day with myself.
I've never been in this beautiful city before. I've heard a lot about Rock Garden. Rock Garden is a huge place that displays sculptures made out of waste. I must say, it was the best way to use waste. I have a lot of places to watch but less time. I was missing my phone. I couldn't click pictures without my phone. But I will capture them in my memories. These places will give me peace of mind. Finally, I got rid of the baby sitter for some time. She would have made her way out of the bathroom. If not, I will help her when I'll be back. I laughed at her condition. " Nice work. " I patted my own shoulder, coming out of the garden.
Time to move, Third place Rock Garden. I got back in the cab.
I don't wanna stress over my new life. I glanced out of the window. I lowered it and rested my arms on it. It was cloudy weather today although my weather app told a fake story. Cool breeze was brushing my cheeks and making my loose strands dance. I didn't want to have any accidents. I pulled myself in. I was watching the road ahead of me through the windshield. Suddenly, a black SUV came from the left side and made a cut at full speed ahead of my cab and stopped in front of it. It was twenty feet away from ours. Driver pulled the break immediately. I put my hands on the back of the front seat to stable myself. More vehicles were following it. A male personality got out of the SUV. He was wearing black suit. When I saw his face. I skipped my heart beat. "Guru." I murmured. There was a stuffy look and scowls on his face. He looked like Angry young man.
I had made my mind, 'I will jaunt today on my own, alone. I don't want anyone's company. I'm not going anywhere with him. I will wander around and be back in the evening.'
My heart was beating like a drum. He came near the cab and opened the door on my side.
" Out. " He was annoyed and rudely said it.
He was in a full angry bird mood. I didn't reply to him. Indeed, I don't wanna go with him, ' I'm not going. It's my day. I'm spending it alone, no babysitter. ' I recalled it in my mind again.
" Who are you people? Let us go. " My cab driver said.
Before he could put more questions. He was hauled out by his bulky men.
" Get out of the fucking car. " he enraged.
His words sent shivers down my body. I was scared. I wanted to run away from him.
"No." I could manage only this word from my mouth timidly.

It seemed like time had stopped. He strongly kicked the door of the car. I screamed aloud with his sudden move, it filled the silence. The door parted from the car and banged ten feet away from its body, sliding ahead making loud noises. It scared me like hell and gave me goosebumps all over my body. My body went numb. My heart was hammering in my chest. I forgot to blink. I was staring at the crippled door. It went blurry because water started to form in my eyes with scare and consternation.
He held me from my wrist and pulled me out of it. I tried to protest, but no use. His hold was iron strong. Now I was facing him. I kept my eyes lower. I tried to free myself from his grip. Indeed he tightened his grip when I struggled. But he was careful not to hurt me. Tears started to drop from my eyes. I nodded my head from left to right. I wanted to say to him, 'No, let go of me.' but I couldn't. I was continuously weeping but it didn't soften his frown. If I would have known this side of him, I wouldn't agree with this contract marriage. His stormy voice could give me a heart attack. I didn't glance up at him. He must be piercing me with his cold glare.
He scooped me up and carried me in an SUV. He made me sit in the back seat and boarded next to me. I tried to open it and found it locked. KK was in the driver seat and Nyle was also there in the front seat. I didn't want anyone to look at me like this in tears. I was sobbing the whole way back home.
On reaching home, he lifted me again and brought me back to our room. He made me lay on the bed. I was so frustrated and scared. I picked the pillow one by one and started throwing at him with full force. He successfully blocked every hit of the pillow. Abruptly, He clenched my wrist. He bent his right leg and put his knee on the bed at the left side of my waist. It panicked me more. Would he beat me up? He put his second hand on the back of my neck. He bent himself down. I was laying down him now. I was shivering with fear.
" Enough, Shael! Enough. I'm not taking this anymore. Do you get me? " He demanded from his gritted teeth.
He freed my wrist and brought his hand up to my face. He brushed my cheek with his thumb. then moved it to my lips. He slowly and softly patted my lower lip with his thumb. I wonder what he will do next.
" I will not hurt you. Don't make me do it, don't make it difficult for me. You don't know who I am? This security, everything that I am doing. It's for your safety. Do you get me, Shael? You can go anywhere you want, but not without informing me and without guards. No more tears. UNDERSTAND? " This time he said softly.
I couldn't say a single word. So I moved my head up and down to tell him yes. My throat was choked with tears. He left me alone in the room.
I was glaring at the closed door. I fixed my hands on the mattress and pushed myself up. I hugged my knees and rested my head on it. I sobbed like a baby when momma scolded on small things. I wanted to go back in my life. It was my fault. I trusted wrong people. I always thought Sammie loves me as I do. She was my sister, my friend, and my family. Sammie must have known his nature. It brought more tears in her eyes. She couldn't escape from him now. He had proof of being her husband. It is easiest to tie yourself in a relationship and the hardest job to break it.
