" I hadn't thought this day would change my life, especially my wife's life. She is Flora princess, after her twenty five birthday, She'll get her powers. I don't wanna scare her, so I'm not telling her anything, definitely not now. I can still see her green eyes, which were chocolate brown. It will take some time to return to its original color at its first change. I don't know how she will react to it. I need to talk to her mother, Indeed she must know everything. " Why are they saying me, Highness? " her question pulled me out of my thoughts.
" There's a lot of things, you need to know. I promise. We'll discuss it later. I want a promise from you. " She saw me and then said, " OK. "
I killed the engine of the car, " I picked her from her seat and made her sit on my lap, facing me. I cupped her face, " If you will feel any change of any type, your body, emotions anything. You'll tell me. You will discover incredible powers in you in the next coming days. You will not panic from them. Promise me. " I said.
" Ok, promise. But I'm sure I'm not getting any power. " She immediately said.
" You will. " I assured her.
" What if I couldn't control them. I don't wanna discuss it, I know I'm not getting anything. " She said it, shaking her head.
" I'm always here for you. " I said.
" Promise? " She asked with pledging eyes.
I smiled, " Promise love. " I took her in my embrace.
" Are you hungry? " I asked.
" Yes. " she replied.
I stopped the car for lunch. It was a vege restaurant. I opened the door for her. Nyle was already there, eating his food.
" Here's food is delicious, try this burger bro. " he said, with his mouth filled.
" Any special demand? " I asked Shael.
" No, Whatever you like, but vegetarian. " she said. Her eyes were back in normal color. I passed her smile. I walked in and gave my order.
I laid the food tray on the table. Shael chose to sit in the open under the blue sky, no sign of clouds.
She took a bit, " Um, it's yummy. " She mouthed while eating her salad.
I felt as someone was watching over us. I ran my gaze around, there were four people who were totally different from the crowd. They were covered with dark green almost black clothes from head to toe, only there's eyes could be seen. They were assassines. It dithered me, what was the cohort of assassins doing here? I could reckon, they were after Shael. Nyle was aware of there's presence too. We couldn't allow them to hurt innocent people. They were taking steps toward us. One of them, vaulted over the table and easily landed on the ground on his feet. I beckoned Nyle to get ready for the attack. He slightly stirred his head. Shael was totally unaware of it. They were five feet away from us, I propelled my hands and made the pressure of wind around them. I could hardly hear them breathing. They went on there's knees. " You Highness. " One of them whispered.
Immediately, I freed my hands from the spell. I moved near them, " Who are you? " I demanded.
" One of them, stood up, still bowed his head, " Your Highness, We're here for our princess, shielded her from danger, injury and destruction and to train her for her powers. " He explained.
" She will chuck her food bowl on you, if you are intending to face her like this, you people are gonna frighten her. " Nyle smirked.
They were giving each other, glaring look, " how did you reach here? " I asked.
" On our bikes. " he replied.
" Follow my brother, you'll know, what you have to do. You all will face her like normal human beings. I need some time to tell her the truth. " I said and they walked near there's bikes. I went back to our table. Nace and Emma kept her busy, during the whole conversation with assassins.
It was dark outside. We parked the car in the parking lot. Shael had slept, I didn't wanna awake her. Noiselessly, I took her in our room.
I had sent KK to bring her momma from India. They could reach at any time.
" Still awake? " Nyle asked.
I offered him coffee " Hm " I hummed, " What's the report? " I asked him.
" He's so foxy bro, not leaving behind any track. " he replied.
" We've the best team to track anyone down, I'm not getting it, where are we slipping? I want that vile, evil spirit at any cost. He had hurted Shael more than twice. " I said.
" We are doing our best bro, he can't escape every time. " Nyle said, drinking his coffee.
I threw my head backside and rubbed my forehead with my fingers, " I wanna throttle him. " I fisted my hands.
" Don't boil your blood, bro. He's getting help from massive sources. We've a large number of enemies." he said.
" It's not just enemies. Something is definitely wrong. Someone is playing wiles and tricks against us. They're targeting Shael. They're intending to set up an army against me. I'll not let them succeed. '' I said, clutching the table with my hands.
" When will the assassines will start Shael's training? " he asked.
" She doesn't know anything about them. When she will be ready to learn, they can start. " I said.
" You didn't tell her? " he asked again.
I put my cup aside, " Before I could tell her, she slept. " I shrugged.
" Dad had reversed the spell. Will it affect mom? " he asked dismally.
I felt a rush of irritation, " She is far away from his spell. Already, Mom has started to recover. He can't do anything now. " I smiled.
" How bro? " he wondered.
" Do you remember, Shael made plants live with her tears? It is a livevital plant, Whom only a princess and the Queen can make to grow with her magic. It is helping Mom to return to her consciousness. Patrick helped a lot. " I explained.
He smiled wider this time, " I should say thanks to Shael and Patrick. " he said.
I saw the time on my wrist watch. It was going to be one o'clock in the midnight, " Catch you in the morning. It has been too late. " I said.
" Good Night, bro. " he yawned.
" Night.. " I muttered and took long strides toward the room.
I slowly opened the door, she wasn't on the mattress. I got her standing near the window. I embraced her from behind. I was feeling her sadness. I didn't speak, I wanted to give her space. I felt a drop of water on the back of my hand. I took one step back and zagged her to confront me. She was sobbing hard. It unsettled me. Without delay, I wiped her cheeks. I could perceive her suffering.
" What happened? " I asked her.
" Why have they deceived me? " She started to weep, put her head on my chest.
" Why are you thinking so? I don't believe this. Who truly loves you, will always care for you, they'll never even think to do this to you. " I put my arms around her.
" Did you have a dream? " I asked.
" Yes. " she sobbed.
" Do you wanna discuss it? " I asked, cupping her face.
" You'll piss off. " she whispered.
" I will never, especially when it's regarding you." I said in a low tone.
" Alia is my cousin, from momma's side. I saw she is.... a, she has been betrothed with Jaz. I had the same one dream years ago. But I wasn't strong in predicting that time like I'm today. Me and Jaz met her at her birthday party, they both were deceiving me. They didn't tell me. If they would tell me, I would surely not interfere. I'd go forever. If they had spoken the truth to me, I'd definitely be glad for them. In the past years, I was thinking it was my fault that he treated me badly. I took a long stride, " I really do love you. It's not sympathy. Ain't you feel this connection between us. You're my soulmate. I wanted to tell you, but couldn't. I could feel your feelings for me, but not sure about it until I hear it from you. " I held her hand.
She was mute. I traveled my hand on her waist and tugged her, I put my second hand on the wall, " If you don't feel for me, it's okay. " I whispered in her ear. Her silence was shattering me. I kissed her forehead and turned to face the door and proceeded at it.
" You'll never cheat on me. " she asked.
I turned to face her with a smile, " Never. " I said.
" What if you did? " she asked in the same tone.
I closed the distance again, " You're the first and last girl of my life. If you think, I'll hurt you or something else. Then I'm all yours, You can punish me. You have all rights. " I flashed her a sharp smile.
There was a wide smile on her face. She pecked on my cheek, " I love you. " She was blushing and she hid her face with her hands.
I let out a loud laugh, I held her hands from her face, took them behind my back. I leaned in, kissed her, " You're God's bless in my life. "
My phone was vibrating, breaking our beautiful moment. I cursed under my breath.
" Are you going?" She asked.
" No. " I smiled.

I got out of the bed, without making any noise. I went out of the room and answered the call. I heard from KK, Shael's mother had arrived. " I urgently need to talk to her. " I told me. I put on a new T-shirt from the cupboard.
" I know you're tired, it's too soon, But we need to talk about Shael. " I said.
" I wanna meet my daughter first. " She insisted.
" Not possible right now as she's sleeping. She is turning twenty five today after midnight. " I said, it changed the expressions of her face.
" Don't tell me, you have forgotten the birth date of your daughter, Mrs Malhotra. " I asked.

" I can see, you're keeping your promise, good. " she came out of the room with me. I switched off the lights and closed the door behind me.
" Is she wearing your shirt? " She tilted her eyebrows. Did I have to publish it, that I liked my wife to see in my shirts? I shook my head.
" She's my wife. " I said shyly.
" Oh, yes. But she's still a kiddo for me, Never mind. Stop saying it like a girl. " She told me, moving her hand in the air.
I showed her her room. " You can't hide it from her anymore. She will discern it herself. " I said.
" I don't know what you are talking about. " She lied.
" You must recognize these people. " I said, pointing my finger at assassines. She blanched, her astonished face was telling more than her words.
" She's not our Queen. " one of them mentioned.
I gave them a confused look, " Is she your daughter? " I improbably asked her.
She heaved a deep sigh, " No, She's not my daughter. She's the daughter of my elder sister and I know these people. " She cheerlessly said. She couldn't lie this time.
" What happened to her mother? Does Shael know, you're her Aunt? " I asked her impatiently.
" No, She doesn't know. We don't know what happened to Jasmine, her mother. She was six years old, when our mother decided that I should look after Shael. Her mother doesn't want her to be part of the magic world. Our mother didn't get her powers, our grandmother was Queen. Jasmine was the first kid, she got all powers and became Queen. We weren't expecting Shael to be next. '' She explained.
" For your kind information, She has gotten her powers. Within some days, she'll be compatible to recognize and distinguish them. You can't do anything, can't stop it. " I said.

" Where's her mother? " I asked, with a frown.
" We don't know, but her husband must know. " she shrugged.

" Indeep, Her father and Jasmine fought over something, I don't remember. She came back to India with Shael. After a week, She disappeared.
