Chapter Twenty Nine

GURU

Her dream had confused and flustered me. She had dreamed before dad with red eyes. Behavior of dad has changed a lot in the past years. I believed her. I went to study. I collapsed on the couch. I needed time to digest it. ' Is he actually simulating to be Dad? ' I rubbed my forehead in frustration.
" Guru. " I heard a loud voice, full with fright.
" Nyle. " I sprinted out. He was with Steve. KK was carrying his half way on him by wrapping his muscular arm around his waist. Nyle was supporting him to stand straight gripping his shoulders. There was blood on his clothes, his bruised face and one swollen eye said it was his own blood on his clothes. He could not stand without help.
" What happened to him? He's looking like hell! " I asked in a loud voice anxiously and disgruntled.
" Mom has been kidnapped. " Nyle said, there was pain in his tone.
I felt the sting of pain, " What's your mean kidnap? " I thundered.
Nyle stammered over his words.
" Who did this? " I asked him under my breath.
" You.. your dad. " Steve said through his pain.
Shael's dream moved in my mind, " You need doctor Steve. " I said.
" I'll manage, just want my medical case. " he coughed. KK helped him to take him in his room.
I felt the surge of affliction. It was emptiness in my heart. It wasn't because of Mom. I had had it before, " Shael. " I stomped toward our room.
" Bro, Where are you going? " Nyle blanched.
The fumes out of the room freezed my steps.
I knew, Nyle was pursuing me, " Don't, stay back. " I said to him.
I held my breath, this smoke could numb me. I moved my hands in the air. With the help of the wind. I made the fume whirled out of the room through the windows. I went in and Nance was lying unconscious on the ground.
" Nance." I said loud.
Nyle patted her cheeks. He sprinkled water on her eyes. But no use.
" She's not waking up, Nyle. At least it will take two hours to get her back to consciousness. My phone vibrated in my pocket, I got it out in my hand. It was a text from Dad, fake Dad according to Shael's dream.
" What is it? " Nyle asked.
" Text from that fraud who pretends to be our father. He has mom and Shael. " I said through gritted teeth.
" What are you talking about Bro? " He asked. His face was clouded with confusion, fright and astonished.
" Nance needs a doctor, take care of our sister. I've to go. " I went out of the room.
" Emma will take care of Nance and Steve. I'm coming with you. " He said and matched his strides with me. I boarded in the Range Rover, Nyle sat next to me on the front seat. KK and two more men were back in it. I hit the engine.
" Emma and assassins will stay with Nance and Steve." KK said.
" What are you gonna do? Where are we going bro? " Nyle asked.
" He sent me an address. We're going there. " I said.
I had texted back to him, not to give a tiny nick to them, otherwise he must start the countdown to his death. if he would err, he would definitely pay for it.
" Bro, Steve is asking to stop the car. " Nyle said.
I gave him a questioning look, and I pulled over the car.
" He's injured, What's your meaning? " I asked him. Steve and Emma were standing in the middle of the road. I got out of it, " What the heck are you doing here? " It pissed me off. His bruises were gone now.
" I have a plan. " Steve said.
" I'm hearing you, say it. We don't have much time." I told him.
After hearing it, " No, I can't agree with you on it. They can ask for anything. I can't endanger your life. " I said.
" But I love this idea, bro. We'll get extra time. " Nyle said.
" Please Guru, You're family to me, not in just words. " Steve said.
" Are you sure? You want to do this? " I asked, raising my eyebrows.
" Damn sure brothers. " Steve said, smiling a bit.
" let's go then. " I said.
Steve swallowed the herb, it was captured in a strange little wooden box. He was covered with smoke. When it disappeared, he was totally different.
" It's fucking cool! Bros. " Nyle said in high tone, smilingly.
" Let's go." I heaved a deep sigh and moved toward my car

SHAEL
I couldn't open my eyes, it was covered with cloth. It panicked me, I tried to speak, it was also covered. A male voice came. My dream was repeating itself. After removing the blindfold, I knew what I would see. I took a deep breath and gathered my whole courage to face my worst one nightmare. I unwantedly opened them. There was Twin Guru's father. I showed no expressions on my face.
" Good evening Daughter-In-Law, honor me to introduce you to your real Father-in-law. " He said, his red eyes were giving him a scary look. Red eyed man kicked him brutally. Real Adam was groaning in pain on the ground. I wanted to speak out but my hands were tied and there was tape on my mouth.
" You're not allowed to say anything yet, my dear. " he was trying to be nice to me. But his expressions and eyes were not helping him.
He lowered real Adam to my level with force holding him from his nape, so he could meet his eyes with me, " Meet your Daughter-In-Law Adam. Your son married her against my will. Don't worry I'll not harm her. I've nothing to do with her. She is just a feeble human. I've seen love in your son's eyes for her. Yea, Your son loves her." Red eyed told him with an evil grin on his face.
" God is watching you, Lucas. " Adam said.
He laughed out loud, " I haven't seen your God in the past ten years. You must be thinking, Why is she here? '' Now Guru will marry Janney. " he smirked.
He came closer to me, " Don't you dare to come closer to her. " Adam shouted, I could feel his pain in his voice.
" Protective father, han? I'm just trying to talk pleasantly. " he said, touching my shoulder.
" Don't be tense, dear. I will not ask your husband to divorce you. It would be terms and conditions of my contract and I promise you that. " He brought his red eyed face down to face me.
Tears started to flow down my eyes. He wiped it with his hands.
" Keep your filthy hands off of her. " Adam said, trying to sit and he rested his back with a wooden wall. I have my wand, but I haven't learned any spells yet.
It scared me, Lucas rushed at him and raised his leg to kick him again. His phone started to ring and he stopped himself. He went out and banged the door behind him.
" Are you okay, kid? " he asked me.
I couldn't speak, so I nodded my head. He stood up with the help of a wall and took small steps. He ripped off the tape from my mouth, was careful not to hurt me with it and unfurled my hands from the rope.
" Are you injured? " I asked him with concern.
" I'm used to. It has been ten years almost. I haven't seen my kids. Tell me about my sons and how is my little daughter Nance? " he enthusiastically said, a peaceful smile tugged on his face.
It startled me to know that Nance is their sister. But I covered it immediately. It wasn't the right time.
I got up from the chair and made him sit on it. " Guru, he's a marvelous person, he loves his family and cares for them. If you're wrong in something, it doesn't matter who you're to him. He will undoubtedly take a stand for right. He is a man of his words and obviously bossy. Nyle, he's the best brother and he misses you a lot. In fact, both miss you, the real you. Nance has grown like me and she's playing the role of my bodyguard right now." I felt a sting in my eyes. I didn't want to cry in front of him. I felt bad for Dad, it had been only a few hours and I was missing them. It had been ten years, I could know his pain and this man was listening me with a smile on his face, after so much torture.
" Why did you stop? " he asked me, with the same smile.
" Guru has the same eyes. " I said looking in his eyes.
" My wife says so. " he said.
Before I could hear him more. The door slides open. Lucas was standing, this time he wasn't alone, Janney was with him.
" How dare you to free her." Lucas enraged and attacked Adam with his powers. Before it could hit him. I brought myself between him and the spell. It collided with me and Lucas banged with his back on the wall behind him.
" I told you this bitch has the powers of a Guru. " Janney said with hatred.
Luca's expression frightened me more, but I was assured, he couldn't hurt me. He glared at us with murderous red eyes and left. I could hear his footsteps which he was banging with full force on the floor. He knew he couldn't inflict me. His tail, Janney followed him.
" How did you do that? I heard from Lucas that you're not wizard. " he asked.
" I don't know, It started to happen to me after my wedding. I don't believe in it, I'll get some powers. " I replied.
" Time is up sweetie. " someone said. We both turned to see him.
" Will you be corporate or we have to fill this room again with smoke to get you unconscious. " Sammie said.
" What if I don't? " I asked.
" Your husband is getting married. I'd love to kill your Real father in law if you don't. " She threatened me.
" Go with her, they can't harm me. " he said.
I looked at him with watery eyes and nodded. I wanted him to come with me, they would not allow this at any cost. My rebellion cannot help me. They know magic. With a heavy heart, I stood up, " I'll come back with Guru. I promise." I said with tears and walked out of the room with her.
" How are you feeling? your husband is getting married in front of your eyes. I'm gonna fuc**** enjoy it. " Sammie smirked and mocked me.
I didn't reply to her. She took me in a room. Janney was dressed up in her wedding gown. I wanna brutally slapped her, but I couldn't do or say anything unless I heard from Guru.
" How am I looking, Shael? " Janney asked with a chuckle.
When she didn't get an answer from me. Both started to laugh in loud tones.
" I forget to give her good news. " Sammie said.
" No, No. Let me do this. Guru is here and he has agreed for this wedding. " Janney clapped her hands. I controlled the rush of ache. Tears were edging on the brink of my eyes but I was biting my cheeks from inside to overcome it.
" Are you ready?" Lucas asked, coming inside the door. His eyes were blue now.
" Yes. " She replied.
" You're not supposed to tell anybody about what happened in the room. Do you get it? You don't wanna see your real father in law dead? " he threatened me with his red eyes which appeared instantly and disappeared again.
" She will, right Shael? " Sammie smirked.
" She is not allowed near to the marriage ceremony. So he will take care of it. " Lucas pointed out at the door.
"Nyle. " I said loudly, I ran toward him and hugged him.
" Are you okay? Did they harm you? " I could see concern in his tone.
I pulled back, " Guru. " I asked.
" Oh, Gosh! Tell him Nyle your brother is going to be my husband now. She is nothing more than a prize, which is not wanted now. " Janney asked.
" She is right. " Nyle said, watching the ground. I staggered, hearing it. Nyle held me.
" You can take her with you. You will meet your mom after the wedding. " Lucas said to Nyle.
It was a church. Nyle was with me. His one arm was wrapped around me, holding me to give me support. His wedding news has numbed me. My full focus was on Guru and his was on Janney. Guru was standing on the platform. Janney was standing beside him. I wasn't feeling my heart beat. I suppressed my pain. Anger was coming as tears from my eyes.
" Do you accept Ms. Janney Parker, daughter of Mathew Parker, as your wife? " Holy man asked him.
" Yes, I do. " Guru replied. My ears were burning to hear him. He asked the same to her. Assuredly, She said yes. They kissed and I closed my eyes. Tears started down to my cheeks.
" We should take her home, Nyle. " Nance told Nyle.
He looked at me, " Let's go home, Shael. " he said in a low tone.
" I don't have a home. '' I said, shedding tears from my eyes. He must be having pity on me. I didn't wanna go with them. My husband got married to someone else without divorcing me. He chose the easiest way to solve his problems. I was taking every step with a heavy heart. What would I do in his house? I wanted to run away from everything, I wanted this pain out. His betrayal killed my smile, happiness, courage and me. I shouldn't trust him and give myself entirely to him. I didn't argue with Nyle. I was nothing more than a living dead body.
