Thought
Nimah sat at the edge of her bed, resting her head on her palm as she weeped bitterly.
'I don't know her at all, I am seeing her for the first time' the voice of Nathan avoiding her publicly rang in her heard severally as she cried.
She wept with frustration as she couldn't get rid of the thought, she just wanted to forget him but why wasn't she able to get rid of this thought?
She actually gave him and his girlfriend a very fitting response, she should not let whatever they said bother her in anyway.
Nimah stood up and went to her mirror which was opposite to her bed, she picked up a handkerchief and mopped the tears
off her faces.
"This is not a problem." She uttered, staring at her reflection. "I know I am not ugly, I am not ugly." She screamed loudly, pulling her hair after thumping a table which was by the side of her dressing mirror.
Indeed she wasn't, she might once be ugly when she just arrived due to the bruises and scars her father left on her skin, but not anymore. She had been able to take good care of her rough, bruised skin with the help of Ms. Alicia she knew. Her emerald eye balls, her long thick dark hair and perfectly shaped lips, made the beauty of her face more apparent, but why did people call her ugly?
Perhaps ugly meant something else to the students of Marvel high, she thought. She again wiped the tears that coursed down to her cheek with her handkerchief and went back to the bed.
"I cannot cry because of Nathan and his girlfriend... I must ignore him until he accepts his mistakes." Nimah said, sounding like she challenged herself.
On the other hand, Nathan was also not sleeping. Ever since Nimah had left, he had not been able to stop thinking about her. He felt like seeing her and strangle her to death.
He wanted to give her some kind of punishment, that she would not dare confront him anymore but he knew he couldn't because of his mum.
Nathan wanted to get rid of her but how would he. He paced back and forth in his room, unable to sleep. He just wanted to vent his anger but he wanted to pour it only on Nimah and not anyone else.
Each and every statement made in the cafeteria in support of Nimah made his head ache, the sound of Big Joe claps made him want to do more to Nimah.
If he had known that she would get so much of supporters because of the nonsense she was blurting, he would not have allowed her to say a word let alone saying lectures of beauty and ugliness. He regretted.
'Oh really? Are you being protective of your girlfriend? Why then didn't you stop Nimah from speaking about beauty? Because you know that she is unstoppable, because you know that all what she was saying was the truth.' this statement was the one which drove her extremely crazy, making him regret the moment he watched Nimah speaking impeccably without stopping her.
His body shook convulsively, trying very hard not to blow. He didn't want to create any scene by venting his anger. He was a type that destroy things when angry and he wanted to avoid that just not to give Nimah that feeling that she got him irated. His ego was still governing.
Nimaaaaaaaaah! He screamed very loudly as he pick up a chess board which was on a table by his bed, flinging it violently. He now looked fierced and wild, moving his eyes from one object to the other, looking for a object he could carry.
He kicked his bed forcefully, making a part of it fracture but if was as if it wasn't enough. He went to his wardrobe flinging out his clothes, he just wanted to hold Nimah neck and press it.
"Nimah must cry, Nimah must live, Nimah must go!" He screamed again and collapsed on his bed exhaustedly.
"No! No! I can't fall weak." He stood up quickly and went for his phone, dialing a number on his phone.
The phone rang for a while before someone spoke from the phone.
"Hello? Who is on the line?" The voice asked.
"It is me Nathan." He said with a flat neutral tone.
"Oh Nathan, it's been a while you've called, is there a problem?"
"Yes there's... I want you to help me out with something."
"And that is what ?" The voice asked with curiousity clear in his tone.
"There is someone I want you to help me deal with... And I want you to take her far away from Texas forever."
"What?! Her?" The voice sounded shocked, it was as if he could not believe his ears.
"Can't you do it? Tell me, can't you? I will find someone else." Nathan said with an aura of confidence and brutality emitting from his tone.
"It's okay Nathan, give me every detail of the woman. And let me know when you want me to do it."
"Hey! Listen to every details now." Nathan explained everything he wanted him to do to him. He told him when and how he would kidnap Nimah.
"I will do it perfectly, just the way you want it". The person assured.
"It is okay... I will meet you there on Saturday." Nathan concluded, hanging up the call. "Yes! Now Nimah, look as to how I take you far away from our lives. I hate you Nimah, I hate you."
~~~~~~
Nimah yawned as she get out of the bed, looking out the window, she watched as the sun rose from the east. It was a beautiful sight.
It was a Saturday morning, she had alot to do. Assisting ms. Alicia with her chores, trying again as usual to gain the twin's interest. She looked at her reflection in the mirror, her hair looked rough and her face dirty.
She entered the bathroom and had a bath quickly. She sat at the dressing mirror and comb her, styling it in a french plait.
She put on a short straight green gown, with short sleeves. It looked good on her, matching with the colour of her eye ball. She walked out of her room, and made her way down the stair case.
"Nimah!" She heard someone called from behind. She turned back and saw Kristen, running towards her.
"Good morning." She greeted with a smile.
Nimah couldn't believe what was happening, Kristen was the one who hated her the most and she even told her to her face. Apart from Nathan, no one hated her like Kristen do. Could she be up to something.
"G - g - good morning." Nimah stuttered still unable to believe her eyes and ears.
"This outfit really good on you. It fascinated me a lot, I am a fashionista and I appreciate every fashion." Kristen spoke slowly, twisting her hands.
"Oh thank you." Nimah smiled and patted her cheek. She was happy to see the new positive side Kristen, it really made her feel good. "I will leave now."
"No, no. Can I take a snap? Just once?" She said pleadingly.
"Oooh! That will be for what?" Nimah asked in a polite way that would not irritate Kristen.
"I need to show my friends how beautiful my sister is in green color."
"Okay, go ahead." Nimah smiled, posing for the picture.
Kristen brought out her phone and took her picture. "Thank you." She appreciated and left.
"How is it Kristen?" Nathan queried as she ran into his room, closing the door behind her.
"I was able to get her picture just by behaving nice to her. She must be very soft hearted. Anyways, here you go." Kristen handed over the phone to Nathan, who was smiling elatedly.
"Thank you sis."
"Now tell me , what do you want to use the pictures for? You promised that you will tell me once I get you the picture." She crossed her arm.
"Sure, I will tell you but not now. I need to get going now, you can remind me when I return, okay?"
"Sure!"
Nathan stood up and went out of her room. He was happy he got Nimah's picture very easily and now he had to act fast. He descended the stairs and vwent to his mom.
"Good morning Mom." He hugged her.
"Good morning son, you look happy today."
"Yes mum. I will be meeting my friends at field today, I really can't wait."
"Best of luck my dear." She patted him.
"Mom, I can't wait to have breakfast at home, can you bring my pack to the cricket field please?"
"You know I can't come there, I have alot to do. Alot of people to attend to, I am sorry." Alicia declined, he looked up and saw Nimah standing with her arms resting on her chest as she watched them speak.
"Mum, there should be some one who can, if you can't."
"Someone like who my dear? We have no maid here. Find something to eat at the resort."
"Please mom!" Nathan frowned.
Alicia sighed and turned to Nimah. "Nimah, you will help me take his food." She said and walked away without waiting for a response. Nathan and Nimah's gaze met and Nathan sent her a dark smirk as he walked out of the house.
"Bring my food once it's ready." He whispered to his ears as he passed by her.
Today is the day Nimah will have to get out of our lives. He thought as he walked out.
