"I'm not sure if you'll accept it but I'm hoping for your help at our wedding Ma'am."
Her eyebrow raised at me. "Fine, I'll do it. But I'm only doing this for my grandson. I still don't like you at all."
"Mom!"
"I'm just telling the truth, Thander."
"You should be happy for Theron and Lineah. Especially since she will give you the first grandchild."
"I am happy for them but it's not that easy to forget ..."
"Hey Mom!"
Her thin lips form a smile when Theron greeted her. He turned to me and kissed me on the cheeks.
"What are you talking about?"
"Well Mom is excited for the baby and she loves Lineah. In fact she's willing to plan the whole wedding."
"Mom, you don't need to do this. Accepting us is enough."
"It's okay iho. I'll do anything for my son."

I was just shaken by Thander's mischief. Sometimes he's really right too.
"How are you feeling? Did you sleep well last night?"
I nodded.
The engagement party last night is fun only if Rievy didn't gate crash the party.

Speaking of Denard. Where is that? I was expecting him and Titus Ephraim to come uninvited. I thought they were going to stop my engagement with Theron but Rievy came.
What happened last night is till clear to me.
"What are you Lineah? Put that down!"
"It's not that heavy Tyang."
"Wow though! You shouldn't get tired!"
"I have to serve Tyang's guests."
"What's the use of another maid? Then I'm here."
"I-I'm not used to Tyang."
"Here's the problem with this pregnant woman. I'll take care of it. Later, Carolina and I will come too, so you shut up."

I sighed.

I gulped.

"Yes. Let's meet them." We headed to the entrance of the mansion.

A smile crept on my lips. "Thank you Dad."
"Mr. and Mrs. Montevero, welcome to our mansion." He then held out his hand to the couple in front of us.
"Good evening," I said.
Theron's Mother shifted her gaze to me. I can't help being conscious about my appearance.
"Skip the formalities! We are glad to be here!"
"Then come in! I'm sure the food is ready."
They went straight inside while Theron and Thander remained.
"I wonder if Mom knew this would happen the moment she saw you." Thander chuckled.
"Shut up! You're making her nervous."
"Sorry... Just a random thought."
"It's crazy, it's okay! Then h-I'm not nervous."
Theron scooped my shaking hands.
"Definitely not," he said sarcastically.
"Let's go inside!"
Everything went smoothly. We talk all about the family but they never brought up the first day they met me or the accident years ago that led to revenge.
We're out at the dining table. Everything is in the living room. Wine, fruits and some sweets are served.
Tyang and Dad also don't feel sorry for the ridiculousness, I don't know why. While Carolina and Carl have their own world with their jowa.
The plates are out of fruit. I grabbed it and went into the kitchen. There is no need to order it.
"M-ma'am."
"Are you sure that's my son's child?"
"Yes?"
"I'm surprised... You changed a lot, so different from what I can remember."
"I'll be honest with you. I don't like you for Theron and neither of my son's. He is supposed to be engaged with Rievy and you ruined everything ... But don't worry I'm not mad at you and the baby. I just don't like you... and your family at all. "
"Did you ask Lineah if she wanted you to be a mother in law?"
"Aunty!!"
"I don't need to be accepted by you."

She walked slowly then she turned her back. "By the way ... Congrats for the baby." She creepily smiled.
"Lineah!"
"Oh my god!"
"Hey ... Are you alright?"
"Thander call a doctor."
"I-I'm fine Theron ... I-I'm just dizzy, it's normal."
"I can only be complacent ah the doctor said, Lineah."
"Thander! Did you call--"
"Yep, the doctor is on the way!"
"We should put her to bed." Dad said.
"It's even better. Take him upstairs. I'll bring water there."
"Mom, did you give her the address?"
"I don't know she's coming ... I swear!"
"You invited her?"
"She's part of the family."
"I can't believe you Mom. You're risking your grandchild for that crazy girl!"

Theron convinced him off. "I'll put her in her room."
Her mother looks worried.
Everything went well after the party. Somehow Mother Theron was a little kind to me.
"Hey baby ..."

"Let's go home."
"Huh why?"
"I miss you."
"I'm here with you, Theron."
"I want you," he said.
I was just shaken.
"As long as I want to, I can't. We still have a lot of things to do. The planning is still not ---" his kiss interrupted me.

"Fine, let's go home."
I laughed when he carried me out of the room. Almost everyone was staring at us.

I stared at his gorgeous face while he was driving. I caress my tummy.
We're getting married and we are expecting a child.
It's like I'm flying with so much happiness inside my heart and I can assure that nothing could go wrong.
