Chapter 24

I glanced at myself through the mirror that was glued on the salon wall. My hair looked amazing and it suited me beautifully.

"Could you braid it backwards?" I said to the woman who stood behind me with a comb in her hand.

"Sure" she responded while un braiding the hair which she immediately brought to the back, perfect. I watched how slowly she braided, getting every inch and side right. Not leaving a single hair to fly above the braided one, she knew her job very well. Amazing.

"Thank you" I smiled at her while clutching my bag to my shoulder. "Where do I pay?" I asked and she directed me to a cashier who stood behind a table, munching on a nut cookie.

"Here it is" I passed her the money in my hand and she collected it with a smile on her face.

I walked out and I immediatly sighted Anwar sleeping in the car with his face cap covering his face. "Anwar" I banged on the window startling him.

"Haha..." I couldn't help but laugh loudly. He looked so cute!.

"You are done, you look beautiful. Hop in" he said and I opened the front and sat In front along with him.

"This beauty of yours can't go to Waste, let's go to the cinema. They are showing a movie, I haven't watched it before but its been out for long" he said while igniting the vehincel.

"What movie is that?" I asked while dipping my hand in his bowl of jelly beans. This boy loves candies like damn. If you check his car, you'll find dozens of pack of chocolate, brownies, mints, chewing gum and so much more.

"Fe@rless" he said and I nodded while chewing on the jelly bean before me.

"Wow, Alright let's go" I buckled my seatbelt and so did he.

"Let's call my brother, he's been busy with school all day that I can't remember when last he had fun" he picked his phone.

"Siri call Mama's boy" he said and I chuckled.

"Searching for mama's boy" Siri said.
"Calling mama's boy" the computer woman added and the call immediately went through and he adjusted his ear pod properly on his ear.

"Hey we are gonna watch a movie, do you wanna join?" Anwar spoke to his brother who was on the other side.

"With my friend, the girl from the airport" he said. "You are too rude, learn some manners!" Anwar yelled at his brother before cutting the call.

"He is so annoying, some times I feel like punching his face" Anwar said with veins popping out from every angle of his body and I laughed loudly.

"Says the boy who loves him soooooooooooo much" I said and he suddenly had a smile gracing his face again.

"Yeah I do love him, he has gone through allot in life and all I want is to see him happy" Anwar said while wiping his eyes.

"Wow, he must have gone through allot" I muttered.

"Yeah, Before his Arrival into my life I was so lonely. Though I had my mum with me but everything seemed boring. All my friends had brothers but I didn't, it hurt me allot. But now I have the best brother in the world and I love him soooooooooooo much, like you said" he said and I chuckled. He took a turn at a place which had a whole lot of people, it looked like a ticket boot.

"Let's go and get our ticket before it finishes" I said and I walked down along with him. "No need, I got our tickets already" he winked and I smiled while adjusting my Shayla on my head.

At arriving at the Cinema, we showed a man our tickets and he allowed us in. "Thank you" we mumbled to the man at the door.

We walked towards a room which had cartoon, written on it. We walked into the dark room, where lots of people sat with their friends and family.

"Let's sit over there please, but we should be done before Zuhr please" I said.

"Look whose being Islamic" He said and I laughed loudly.

"You are funny" I commented with a smile. I crossed my legs together as soon as we both sat.

"Well let's have fun, the movie is about to begin" he said. We both focused our attention on the movie which began to play.

"Should I get us popcorn?" Anwar asked and I nodded in the negative.

"Nah I'm good" I said.

"Well I'm not, I need a smoothie and a popcorn" Anwar got up. "I'll be back" he said before walking away while I focused my attention on the movie that played on the big screen.

Before I could turn arround, I saw Anwar walking towards us with two smoothies and two popcorn. What a foodie.

"Wow you were fast" I said.

"There was no line outside" he passed me a popcorn and a smoothie which I scrunched my face at.

"You'll have to take all of them. I told I didn't want it" I said and he dropped in on my lap.

"You're welcome" he said while seating back done"And also, about that headband?, my brother cursed at me because of it" he said and I let out a loud laughter that got me a whole lot of attention.

"The movie is so funny" I said. I felt Awkward!.

"Mama's boy is so Annoying!" He said while pushing a handful of popcorn in his mouth hole.

"Doesn't he have a real name?" I asked. Seriously whose name is mama's boy!?.

"Yeah he does, Nanu" he said.

"His name is Adnan?" I asked.

"Nah, just Nanu, I grew up knowing his name as Nanu!. I told you, we didn't grow up together" He said "oh my God, the kids are out of the game!" He said in clear excitement. Truth be told, I ain't a fan of cartoon.

"Wow, cute name" I commented while sipping on the smoothie. Yeah I feel foolish for taking what I had protested to. But I can't help it, it tastes amazing.
