It sure is, more than just beautiful.

“How was the first date?” Dominic grinned, standing in the door frame.

He could notice the frown on Seth's face, taking it as a sign of his victory.

Ryder failed to impress her; otherwise, she wouldn't have such an unsatisfactory look on her face. Seth probably hated the idea, and the place where he took her, Dominic knew that taking her out on a fancy dinner would work way better.

“It was great. Can we talk tomorrow? I'm tired.” Seth forced herself past Dominic, rushing upstairs to the bedroom.

She had no intentions of explaining more, especially after everything she got to find out. Seth had no idea how she was supposed to feel, and after facing the fact that she didn't feel pity - Seth feared the person she became.

In the meantime, both men stood by the front door. Dominic eyed Ryder, who didn't look like the date failed - the male showed off pure frustration but hid more. Was he confused?

“Spill the beans. Seth didn't like the amusement park?” Dominic decided to question the Alpha, hoping to find out more.

Even if it wasn't about the date - there had to be something that made Seth feel like she would have to avoid every other living being around her.

“Quite the opposite, she enjoyed it more than I hoped. Brutally killed me with all those rides and running around.” Ryder approached Dominic, placing a hand on his shoulder. “We met someone there. Well, to be precise - someone she used to know and hold dear found us there. Let's say the conversation between them didn't end well. I had to drag that firecracker to the car to avoid getting into trouble.” The Alpha chuckled, recalling how feisty the woman can be when needed.

He couldn't deny that seeing Seth in a different light made him like her even more.

As if there was this hidden side of her that aroused him more than any woman did before. If Seth caught on Ryder, attempting to hide his erection throughout the car drive - it would be a new type of embarrassment.

“Was it bad?” Concern laced Dominic's words. He instantly regretted staying away instead of following them and making sure Seth was safe. The only reason he agreed to deal with the paperwork in such a hurry was to stay away from Seth.

“Not bad enough to jump right into a fight, but not good enough to let her leave in a good mood. That goddamn woman ruined the part of the evening - we enjoyed ourselves watching the sunset until that bitch jumped in. Pretty sure I was more annoyed than Seth was; she held on like a champ, so calm and collected. Well, for most of the conversation, she did.” Ryder tried to get past Dominic, but the man didn't move away from the entrance.

If he didn't get any information from Seth, who already managed to escape him skilfully enough, he would get the information from Ryder.

“Come on, give me a hint, don't leave me hanging. What was it all about? Tell me, and you're free to go, promise.” He didn't give up, and if tDominic had enough time to get to know Ryder better - the Alpha would break to get him off his back.

“It was about the puma pack she came from. Something about her father getting himself into deep trouble. Seth didn't bother to hide the annoyance and how she didn't want to know anything about that man, but the woman wouldn't leave. So, they had a pretty public argument about the matter until I had to involve myself. Thankfully I did, pretty sure it would end badly if I didn't. Perhaps with a fight. Now, if you'll excuse me, it's late, and I would love to get some sleep. Rest well, Dominic.” Ryder went inside the house and headed straight to his bedroom.

Both men had a deal that none would try to enter Seth's bedroom during the night unless she asked for one to join her. The Alpha's had to respect her privacy and decisions; it was the best way to make sure that none would use an advantage to get her.

Dominic watched the stars, wondering if she would be in a mood to go out with him tomorrow. Perhaps letting Ryder take her out first was the worst decision he ever made.

Seth could wake up, absolutely done with everything, demanding to leave.

And since none of the men would get her approval - she would have all rights to leave without looking back at them.

They made a deal, even though only verbally, men knew that breaking a promise wouldn't win her over.

The inner battle with himself exhausted Dominic, so the Alpha decided to get some rest and hope for the best when the morning would come.

***

Seth woke up pretty early; this time, there wasn't a woman banging on her door to announce that an Alpha would be waiting for her. She threw her bathrobe on and headed downstairs, a smile breaking on her lips as she noticed both men sitting by the dining table, discussing something with visible passion.

“Good morning, gentlemen,” Seth approached them, smiling as if this was the best day of her lifetime.

She didn't want to bring the bad mood and memories into a new day, mostly since the Alpha's weren't the blame.

“Good morning, sunshine,” Dominic stood up, moving a chair for her to sit down.

Ryder was right there, waving his hand at her like a child, his mouth stuffed with cupcakes.

Seth watched how both men acted around each other and then around her - silently laughing at their behavior. She gladly accepted the snacks and coffee offered by the Alphas, eyeing them in awe.

This was yet another time when she couldn't understand how she would make a choice. Each man had something unique in him, something any woman would seek in a perfect man, yet she had to choose one.

“So what's on the agenda for today?” She took a sip of her coffee and placed the cup back on the tabletop. Both Alpha's eyed her suspiciously.

“You want to do something?” Ryder questioned Seth wide-eyed.

“Yeah, why not? The day seems to start on a great note, I wouldn't mind going out for a walk or something, but it's up to Dominic, right? He was supposed to take me out on a date, or is there a change of plans already?” Seth smiled, eyeing the men who seemed to look at her as if they saw a ghost.

Were the previous day's events leaving such an effect on them to view her as crazy for wanting to enjoy her life?

Not every woman could live up to a day when two men would take her out on dates - why wouldn't she take the chance and enjoy herself?

“I planned a full day, but I have a backup plan if you don't feel like going out. We can spend the day on the couch, being lazy, watching movies, and I could get some snacks. It's up to you, doll, but I'd love to have that date happen,” Dominic winked at Seth.

Sitting in privacy felt different - both Alpha's tiptoed around her, making sure Seth got whatever she wanted. Was life with an Alpha the same?

The wolf, becoming possessive and protective over their woman while they were outside of the house, and becoming a giant teddy bear as soon as they stood behind a locked door?

Seth gave some thought to Dominic's offer and admitted that she would rather leave the house. Sitting in one spot, staring at the screen would only lead to her overthinking while she needed something to distract her.

“Get ready, doll, make sure to wear something fancy. If you don't have anything, we can get some shopping done before the reservation.” Dominic, unlike Ryder, didn't hide the idea behind their date.

It was probably a restaurant, one of those high-end places where snobs would gather and discuss stupid problems. Perhaps one of those Italian places with no chiefs from Italy and waiters with fake accents.

“I have something to wear, don't worry,” Seth stood up, grabbed a slice of toast, and pecked both Alpha's on cheeks before leaving back upstairs.

She did bring her favorite little black dress, just in case, since she couldn't know if she would need it or not. The small piece of fabric didn't take up much space in her bag, but boy, did it look good on her.

After getting ready, she decided to wear pumps and set her hair in the same high ponytail as yesterday. The benefit of such a hairstyle was that it was appropriate for a simple walk and fancy evenings.

Seth used some of her favorite perfume and mentally high-fived herself for having a shower the day before, soon after getting back to the house.

Walking down the stairs made her feel like a movie star. Dominic and Ryder stood by the stairs, watching how she neared them.

“You look ravishing, doll,” Dominic didn't waste time to compliment Seth. He was quite vocal, so there was no doubt that he was the first to speak up.

“Agreed. You're making me regret the decision about a more simple date. Anyway, you guys have fun; I'll do some work while you're away.” Ryder rushed away.

The Alpha had to respect that this day was not his - Dominic went to the extent of leaving to give them some privacy; it was Ryder's turn to return the favor.

Dominic could be a gentleman; he opened every door for Seth, even helped her to buckle up.

He didn't worry about the safety as much as Ryder did; his intentions were different - the view of Seth's breasts brought him closer. Like any other, healthy heterosexual man, Dominic wouldn't take his eyes off of her, admiring the body of a Goddess.

“So, where are we going? Or are you about to keep secrets the same as Ryder did? I'm not the biggest fan of those, and I don't enjoy the majority of surprises as well.” Seth watched the road ahead, trying to notice at least one sign to take as a hint to what their goal might be.

“I'm taking you to my family's country club. I was planning to take you out for a meal, but that didn't seem like a good idea since we can get restaurant-quality food at the lake house. However, you can't see all those things you're about to see back in that house. Don't worry; I'm not trying to make you meet my family - we're going there to have some fun.” Dominic placed his hand over Seth's and gently squeezed it, reassuring that she would be fine.

The Alpha hoped that she would enjoy their little trip to the club. He didn't want to show off his wealth, or one his family had, but since most people haven't seen even a glance of what was normal to him, Dominic decided to share a part with Seth.

The car drive went on pretty quiet; both exchanged a couple of words occasionally, focusing on their thoughts.

When the car stopped in front of the large building, Seth suddenly felt cold feet. She worried that her outfit of choice wouldn't fit in with all the fancy-looking people walking around the territory.

“Ready to go, doll? Don't focus on the building; you can see it later if you want. Now, I have something far more important to show you.” Dominic got out of the car and ran around it, opening the door and offering Seth a hand.

A wide smile appeared on his lips when she willingly accepted his help even when she didn't need any.

The Alpha didn't let go of her hand, leading her away from the building, holding onto her as if they were a couple. Any person watching them would assume Dominic and Seth were lovers, sneaking away from everyone's eyes.

He didn't bother to give others as much as a thought - he couldn't care less of what the club members thought of him. Even if his family wouldn't own the luxurious place, he still wouldn't spare a glance at snobs who kept purchasing the membership.

“Where are you taking me? Is your grand plan to get away from anyone who might witness your attempt to kill me?” Seth laughed, barely keeping up with the Alpha's rushed steps.

“I'm taking you to an extraordinary place. No, I wouldn't kill you, doll; you're too important ever to harm. The reason why I'm trying to rush is to avoid those idiots and keep this a secret. I'm not talking about us, as a secret, but the place I'll show you. Since I was a kid, it's been very special to me, I even built a treehouse alone when I was ten. You'll see how crappy it is, but I still feel the utmost pride in that pile of junk. Come on; you'll love it.”

Seth could hear the excitement in his voice and the wide smile spreading on his lips. The Alpha appeared to be ruthless most of the time, yet whenever he would get excited - Dominic reminded a child. No matter what he said or did, nothing would change her mind now.

“I'm trying,” Seth laughed, struggling to keep a straight face. She didn't notice how they entered the forest area, and it took them what seemed to be seconds to reach the said place.

Dominic let go of her, watching Seth's reaction, as worried as never. She stood frozen - the Alpha took her to a small waterfall, a hidden gem of nature.

It was entirely hidden between the trees, in the middle of nowhere, yet so close to the luxury club. No wonder no one ever found this - those people were too into themselves and showing off their wealth to look a bit further.

An arm wrapped around Seth's waist, pulling her a little closer.

“It's beautiful,” Seth whispered, her eyes glued on the waterfall.

“It sure is, more than just beautiful,” Dominic agreed.

Seth failed to notice how Alpha's eyes were set on her all this time. Dominic didn't look at the waterfall and the view he used to love so much since he now had something more beautiful to watch.

The moment they shared was out of this world.

Dominic felt rather proud of choosing a more hidden place since nobody could ruin their bliss.

That is, until a twig snapped behind them, followed by the voice of a woman: “Baby, why didn't you tell me that you planned to come here?”
