Chapter 11 Impure blood
Akhenaten revealed the truth.
Aten was his illegitimate child, born to an enslaved person, with impure blood running through his veins. To him, a child with such contaminated blood was no different from a dog, so he allowed others to mistreat Aten. He was thin, innocent, and adorable. I did not want this life to pass away.
"Father, Mother,"
"I like him. He must live. He must stay by my side."
