Chapter 41

"Devon who has had a cold hand before" Heaven noticed holding my hand. I sighed and stared.
"I'm not nervousing" I just answered.
"Weh? Hold on" Savannah said and the two of them approached then held my hand from arm to shoulder to neck up to my cheek to forehead.
I frowned at them as I couldn't paint the faces of the three of them.
"What?" I asked, confused.
"It's really your cold. You should check up with the healers here and maybe later you'll die while being treated" Courtney suggested that they agreed. I just sighed.
"I'm fine, seriously. Just use it" I replied and focused my eyes on the hologram where a new couple was fighting again.
"Tsk! Do you have breeds or genes in the cold? You're weird" said Emerald who I just nodded and folded my arms.
*Ting!
The fight was over and Ms. pulled out two again. Moiselle.
"Princess Sapphire and Princess Blessary"
"Do you know the rumors?" grabbed Emerald's attention.
"Rumors about them?" concerning Heaven and pointed out the two. They entered the battle circle and the bell rang but the two still did not move.
"Mmm. Princess Sapphire and Princess Blessary fights before the duel. The other day, they fought on the training ground just because of the man" Emerald began.
I looked at the hologram when the battle circle created by Blessary began to ignite.
"Because of the man? Who's that unlucky guy?" Savannah asked angrily while also looking at the hologram.
Sapphire attacked first and released lava balls and hurled them at the confident Blessary. He just avoided it and smiled foolishly at Sapphire.
"Some of the gossips say, it's Prince Crush. No doubt they will like that prince. The appeal is strong eh" I was stopped by what Emerald said.

It was Blessary's turn. The battle circle flared up even more and turned a blind eye.
There seems to be a strong force that wants to come out. Blessary's hair suddenly changed color at the same time as she opened her eyes which also changed color.
He grinned foolishly at Sapphire so he became alert and we all sighed at what Blessary let out.
A fire dragon. It roars to Sapphire so it spews fire. Sapphire immediately made a shield and as we unexpected, Sapphire's hair and eyes suddenly turned red orange
It was too late when it released Phoenix. Even Phoenix. It's intense and at the same time it's exciting to happen. Various rumors ensued.
And who's their bet is, who will be the winner.
The Phoenix howled and it spewed lava. The battle was more fun.
"Fire Dragon vs. Lava Phoenix? Who will you think win?" Emerald asked curiously. We just looked at each other and shrugged.
"Heat vs. Heat, hmm. What do you think, guys? The only difference is fire and lava but both emit heat" Savannah added. I sighed.
"Well, they get burned. Fire and Lava can't fight. Both of them will be hurt if they continue that. Instead of fighting, why don't they help each other? They much fit in together" I replied gently looking at four of me.
"Devon, you're a genius!" Courtney exclaimed as I just gasped.
The dragon and phoenix began to hurt each other as well as the two princesses.
They summoned swords and wielded swords. Their attacks on each other are strong and heavy. They are too aggressive and hasty.
The dragon spewed fire and directed it at Sapphire. Sapphire didn't notice that immediately and threw it into the glass cylinder. There was a big fire in his tyan and back. Burn some strands of its hair.
Phoenix immediately attacked the dragon in what happened to Sapphire and was heavily blown by lava. The dragon growled loudly and gradually dissolved. Blessary's eyes widened and dodged the falling lava from his dragon.
Blessary immediately unleashed a fire tornado and waved it at Phoenix. The phoenix growled loudly and was swallowed up by the tornado.
Even before Blessary could escape the huge lava, he was thrown into a glass cylinder and lost consciousness. It had a leg wound up to the knee and tyan caused by Sapphire before fainting.
Everyone was silent at what they saw and I just took a deep breath.
"It's a tie. They both loose. Even though they upgraded, they both lost consciousness. No one remained stable so their rank will remain the same as their previous rank" announced Ms. Moiselle and smiled then pulled out two papers again.
Batch 13 of the medical team and they treated the two wounded. Just got back from Batch 12 and was obviously tired
"Good job, Batch 12! You have now rest" Mama said and looked at us next medical team.
"Ready Batch 14" Mama commanded and smiled at me and my colleagues. We also smiled back.
"Princess Belladona and King Stan"
The battle turned out well. It was almost a tie but King Stan was able to catch up and Princess Belladona was even wounded and captured the flag.
Princess Belladona's magic was weaponry and King Stan was a fox or more likely a fox with nine tails and was able to control rain and wind.
"Princess Julliet and Alpha Dos"
The two immediately entered the battle circle and no flag could be seen holding them.
Alpha Dos just smirked as Princess Julliet's eyes simply rotated the battle circle.

The medical team would have gone the case Alpha also lost.

It even smiled sweetly. I winked at him and sighed.

I was touched on my lips and he just kissed me. It was only a smack but the size of its impact on me.

I took a deep breath and returned immediately to the group.

It immediately lay down and sighed some more. I took some cotton and put alcohol in it. I gently touched it to his arm.
"Last but not the least, Prince Shawn again since he won and Prince Crush"
I stopped touching and was unable to look at the hologram but continued as well
"Waaahh! Go Prince Crush!"
"You can do that, Prince!"
"I'm Prince Shawn!"
"You're cool, my prince Shawn!"
"I love you, Prince Crush!"
Some of the compliments and cheers I hear on the hologram, psh!
"Aray !!" I suddenly looked at Rein who was looking at me.
I frowned at him. "Take it easy! It's still painful for you to treat ?!" its complaint and slapped my hand cleaning the wound on its arm.

His shoulder fell and he couldn't believe what I said. I just sighed and looked at the hologram.
The battle of fire and ice had already begun. They are both good and avoid each other's attacks.
"What are you talking about?"
"Precisely, I'm talking about you and Rein. Do you like him? When else? Are you serious with him? Does he like you too?" I asked one question after another while still looking at the hologram.
Both have different eye and hair colors. They are even more stronger and cooler now.

"I'm so sorry for you, Prince Rein. Sorry for our colleague's disrespect" Savannah humbly apologized and looked at me badly. I just stared at him and pointed at the worthless man in this story.
"This st-pid Prince was my old apprentice. So don't be surprised at how I behave with him" I explained as they gasped.
"Apprentice ?!" they said in chorus. I just smiled sparingly.
"Apprentice --- My gosh, Devy! You can be my best friend! You're so harsh to me! The pain here oh!" he said and pointed to where his heart seemed to be hurt. I just sighed and stared at him again.
"We're not best friends. Stop dreaming" I said directly and stared at the hologram. Time was running out and they were both wounded. The spectators were still screaming.
After their match, the next round will be held. I think only 100+ passed and they are already the new top 100 ranking in the M.A.
"Savage" Savannah commented and sat down on a clinic bed with Emerald and Heaven.
Courtney sat on the chair next to where Rein was lying. As I sat on Rein"s clinic bed at its foot.
"That Duel fight is intense. They give an unlimited time to them" Courtney noticed while staring at the hologram.
"Because maybe they're the last to fight" Emerald commented and folded his arms.
"Of you, who do you bet will win?" Heaven asked. I just sighed and watched.
Crush made a massive purple fire and immediately fired at Shawn. It immediately made an Ice Shield before it hit him. This resulted in a strong tremor and explosion in the battle circle. We also heard Crack of the glass cylinder as if something had broken in some parts.
"Woah. His strength. I bet Prince Crush" Emerald said making me wince.
"True. I'll crush him" Heaven also commented.

"Just calm down, Devy. They're just amazed at that" I sighed as Rein whispered next to me. I stared at him.
"It's Devon" I correct and sigh.
"Song. Are you annoyed?" pang aasar pa nito. I sighed again and faced him.
"Cut it, Rein. And besides, I'm not focusing on those things" was all I could answer and sigh. It smiled mischievously.
"Actions speak louder than words, Devon"
"Tsk! What are you pointing at, Rein?" straightforward but calm I asked
"I just noticed that your sigh is steady ---"
"That's my mannerism"
"Nah ah. Because your sigh is different. It's like with every puff of air you let out, it shouts 'He's mine, b-tches'" he continued to whisper. I narrowed my eyes at him "In summary, You're jealous"
"Prince Crush, win!"
I could hear the scream outside and on the hologram. I don"t know what I will irereact to and where I will put it.
Is it because Crush won? Or because Rein said that ... I'm jealous?

"Come with the two princes" Savannah ordered.

"Excuse me" I just excused myself and left the arena. I need some fresh air.
Crush and I were quietly eating lunch on the rooftop, which Blessary said this morning before the leveling started, at the top of the Heal Building.

I gasped at the thought.
"Is there any problem, Devy?" I heard him ask again. I blinked and sighed.
"Nothing. Just don't mind me" I replied and looked at him. She had just finished eating and wiping her lips. I averted my eyes then stood up and held Teresa's guide.
How peaceful it is. Hayst.
"Tell, me what's the matter?" he whispered in my ear. I couldn't speak right away and seemed to come to my senses when he hugged me back and placed his chin on my shoulder.
I could feel my blush. It seems ... it seems to suddenly heat up.
"K-kasi ....."
"Because what, hmmm?" He whispered hoarsely which I swallowed completely. It was as if I woke up and removed his hug from me. I looked at him angrily.
"Why are you so handsome? The number of people crawling around to claim you and then it seems like you just don't exist ?!" I sighed here and was still trampled by the annoyance I was annoyed with him.
It suddenly laughed which made me even more annoyed. "Are you just going to laugh at me ?! You're annoying ah!" I was still salty and folded then turned my back on him and looked at the scene again.

I felt a hug from him again. "Don't hug me. I'm annoyed with you" I said annoyed. He laughed again and even hugged me tightly.

"My Devy is jealous. You're cute when you're jealous" he said, making my cheeks redden too much. Geez!
"M-shut up! I'm not touched by your flowery words!" my defense. "And then I'm not jealous" I added.
"Weh? Look at your face?" he was still pissed. I hugged him and he let go of my hug.
"I'm leaving. You take care of your life" I said and hurried down the rooftop.
I got to our dorm so I immediately closed it and touched my chest. The strength of its pulse. I just closed my eyes tightly in embarrassment and sighed deeply. I just sat on the Floor and thought of something I didn"t know if I would get hurt or not.
Why didn"t he obey and apologize? Why doesn't he coax me? Will I just pass by his arms? '

THIRD PERSON'S POV
Devon's father, Denis went through the Headmaster Office. At every step it makes sure no one follows.
Only a few go to the Headmaster Office because it is private and not all staff professional teachers and councilors are trusted.
Denis knows there are traitors and spies around so he needs to be careful. Recently, it has been receiving death threats even from councilors and they need to talk about it for the safety of Hm and everyone.
So Leveling Up was held early to see if the students were ready.
