Chapter 65

Devon Solaire
As I gave all my strength to that big wave, I found myself in a cold unknown place. The snow storms are getting stronger and I can't see anything.
Did I just ..... die?
"You didn't." I immediately looked behind me when I heard a woman's voice. I gasped.
She's very beautiful. Like a Goddess.
Her hair is white and braided. Her blue eyes like an ocean. Her pointed nose and pinkish lips. Her skin is white as a snow. It"s a white gown with a large snowflakes design on the chin and yet off-shoulder at the height. My eyes caught his tattoo in the middle of the collar bone-it's just like mine.
But what made me gasp was that I looked a bit like him.
"Come here." she sweetly commanded. I didn't make a move.
"Who are you?" I asked.
He smiled sweetly and he himself approached. Napa atras ako. There was a distance between us.
"Lend me your hand." I raised an eyebrow at him. He held out his hand in front of us and waited for my hand.
"I don't trust you." I promise directly. But instead, she keep smile. "Everything's going to be fine. Trust me."
I stared at him skeptically. Even though she is beautiful I have no confidence in what she will do. And I didn't know this place, either.
"Don't you want to help them?" my eyes blinked. How did she know?
"I'm already helping them." I replied. Then he suddenly laughed.
Nothing funny.
"I'm sorry, I asked the wrong question." and she's saying sorry. Weird. It sneezes.
"You wanted to be stronger, do you? Then lend me your hand and I'll grant it." she offered. I looked at the hand he had held out earlier. Doesn"t he need it? But what she'd said,
"How can I trust you?" I asked more. It was out of breath.
"Just lend me your hand, no more time." he said with a frown. I close my eyes tightly and sigh.
I slowly held out my hand, until I could feel his cold palm sticking to me.
He held it tightly and smiled. "Now, close your eyes." I obeyed what he said and later I felt like ... I will fall?
I woke up and my eyes widened as I fell to the chin along with the cracks in the ice so I adjusted myself to be able to land properly.
*BOOGSH!
I was even behind the landing because something suddenly exploded. That turned out to be from Eros-wait.
I rolled my eyes and turned back to the battlefield.
"Devon ..." I turned to Gerda whose eyes widened looking at me. I frowned at him.
My eyes quickly caught Aos's attack of a big dark ball in Gerda's direction that was doing something strange to his fellow spirits.
I don't know how it happened but I moved fast and kicked the big dark ball that changed direction and then exploded and then landed down. Is this how strong the woman gave me? Wait, I also changed. That's why Gerda's eyes are so masculine staring at me.
I looked in Gerda's direction and thankfully they were safe. Tres was also there from the unconscious Celestia and was laid down next to the other two. Gerda did something strange again and the red circle with a strange letter in the middle grew bigger.
I focused my eyes on Aos, but he's gone?
The wind blew to my left so I immediately backed away at the same time as Aos appeared to hit the air instead of me. I also felt stronger around and my power.
It waved both hands and pointed at me, I returned it with my power and every impulse had an explosion. I dodged and jumped then took out the ice and threw it at him but it disappeared.
When I got down, I could feel the feeling around me even more. My hands were ready to wave again.
I gestured with my right hand when I felt his presence. I stomped my feet and what we were stepping on turned to ice.
Now I can guess where he is.
I cloned myself and quickly teleported away from our fight. I turned around to look for Evo. He should be the one facing Aos.
My eyes searched for what I was looking for. He's helping Yuan fighting Eros.
I even made a clone there when I saw that he threw away my clone because it was missing. I made two clones again. I need a distraction to put him to sleep.
He's stronger than me and I know the strength he shows is nothing compared to his original strength. Major spirits are hard to beat but due to the effect of spells it seals the strong energy of his power.
I would have submitted a clone when I saw that he was no longer there.

*BOOGSHH !!
I was fired-no. My clone was thrown away because of the force of Aos's trampling on him. I already felt its presence before he stepped on me so I cloned myself and teleported away so my clone was infected.
The clone disappeared so I teleported behind him and punched him hard with my ice power.
The ice stuck to it, making the statue freeze with him. I was about to go away but he grabbed my hand and threw it hard.
The incident happened quickly but I felt someone cover my eyes with his hand and caught me and then carefully lowered me.
I feel. I could feel the strong power coming out of my rescuer and just heard the loud crash of the explosion I think.
I could have opened my eyes immediately but was stopped when someone hugged me tightly along with a very loud explosion that still shook.
But what caught my attention was the familiar smell of hugging me. I can't be wrong.

That's the last thing I heard. And I don't know what happened.
After a few minutes I opened my eyes. He's gone.
I narrowed my eyes and opened my mouth to the witness. Everywhere were devastated. It's broken. Gradually the snows fell. I saw the spirits that were barrier and the lying unconscious Aos and Eros.
What happened?
"He just finished the war in one blow. His strength really, seems to turn into a monster when you come." I turned to Evo holding his trader bag and staring at everyone's scene. I couldn"t help but be amazed. He just did that?
"I'm just wondering, how did you know him? I mean La ---" he stopped speaking and stared behind me. Later nodded. I frowned and looked behind me but there was nothing.

"I see. You didn't met. Ah, that's why. Now, I know." I wondered at what he said. Am I the one he is talking to or someone else? Naweweirduhan na ako sakaniya.
I sighed and looked everywhere. Finally, it's done. No more war. But many were destroyed and died. I couldn"t help but feel sad and think of Jales.
The fight ended because my mate was so easy. I wonder why he is still mysterious to me. I don't even know his name.
"I hope ..." I turned my attention to Evo who was also looking ahead.
"Your weird."
He glanced at me and rolled his eyes. "I can only really see you, Sana. And your tattoo ....." He turned his eyes to my tattoo and then made me look thinner and stared then looked to the front. "Nevermind."
"Okay. Your getting weirder." I comment more.
"Tsk." it started to move but also stopped immediately. "I thought you were really weak, my bad." aniya.
Epilogue
"Happy Birthday, Evo." I was surprised when he mentioned my second name especially when he greeted me. He bent down and sighed then looked up. Looking at his receding figure.
It's my birthday. If so, it is now the second day and the last number of the month. April 30. Day of my birth and day of the end of the war.
If we look at it now, the war should have started but it is too early.

I teleported over to Evo and held him by the shoulder. He raised an eyebrow and looked at me. I sighed.
"Didn't Savannah talk to you?" I said with a serious look on his face.

The whole island is falling upside down but the students can't do anything because the island is so big and the whole thing can be covered.
"Run as fast as you can!" Stan shouted. The students immediately ran away. Others used magic to speed up the escape.
The island was about to fall so one by one those who clung to Dennis and landed down. They waved their powers to guide each side of the island so as not to fall quickly as there were still students running away.
But the island is heavy and the guide is slowly being torn down, so they added a lot of guides.
"Faster !!" Maxine shouted as she sang in support of the guide. They are already struggling because of the island.
"Guys! Go! Now!" Dennis commanded and even more ice made the island guide.
"How about you ?! We can't leave you!" annoyed Klaus's cry which was also difficult.
"We can't stop the island from falling because it's heavy. So now! Go!" Dennis replied.
They still looked at each other and hesitated. The guide was torn down so the island went down even further.
They again created a new guide to support the island.
"We're leaving at once! No one will stay!" said Prof. Gill.

They all teleported at the same time as the destruction of the guide and the collapse of the island's promenade.

Everyone, even Devon's clone, was shocked to see his mother being held hostage by a student. A knife was pointed at Gievhone's neck and it smelled of poison.
How did it all happen? A male student from the Heal Building was depressed and angry when he saw the whole island collapse. It blames the elevators because all he knows is they just let it go. He lost himself so he sought out his boss"s wife and took her hostage.
"Let go of her." Devon's clone said softly but inside it was so much fear and nervousness that pervaded its entire system.
But the man did not listen. "You will just regret hurting her." King Stan said and tried to come closer but it pressed the knife to Gievhone's neck. Gievhone sighed deeply and calmed herself. There was nothing she could do about crying and panicking but everything would get worse.
"Don't come any closer! I'll kill him!" the man threatened so the others shouted. King Stan was stopped from approaching.
"Why are you doing this?" Gievhone asked.
"Because they let M.A. collapse! So you should just die in exchange for its collapse!" its angry response.
"What will you gain by killing Mrs. Solaire? Will you be happy? Is that the way you can think of to get everything back to normal?" Queen Demi asked in succession. The man's mouth watered.
"None of your business!" its cry. Alpha Dos appeared behind them and strangled the student's neck with his arm. Everyone screamed at what happened.
He released Gievhone and struggled with Alpha. Healers attended to him and asked if he was okay.
Devon's clone would have approached the mother but she stopped and felt strange to herself. It worries because it looks like something bad has happened to the real Devon.
He saw a snowflake fly until he saw a series of snowflakes fly from him.
It ran in the back without anyone noticing him. He looked at his hands and there were snowflakes coming out, as well as on his body.
Devon's clone flurrying. Slowly vanishing. Something's happened to the real Devon so he will also disappear.
"Mrs. Solaire ?!" everyone was shocked and shouted at the witness. As the man struggled with Alpha Dos he threw the poisoned knife at Gievhone and it hit him in the back.
Dennis quickly caught his wife and turned the man who had hurt his wife into ice. He witnessed the events earlier while crowding the student groups so he went there even faster.
"Wife, love. Wake up." Dennis said confusedly as he patted his cheek.
He immediately pulled the knife from behind his wife and looked then threw it. There are healers come to grind the boss's wife.
Dennis took his wife's hand and kissed it. His wife was lying on his lap. "Love. Don't give up, please." a tear escaped on his cheek.
Devon's clone cried at the sight. He can't come near. Because everyone will wonder why it releases snowflakes in its entirety. She's slowly fading.
He blames himself because he can't do anything. He's just a clone but he's still Devon.
"Love. Don't leave us. Wake up. I'm here. We're here." Dennis pleaded while crying. It's their first time to saw that the boss of Heal Building is crying. Surprising but sad to watch. Even Gievhone's friends were crying.
Gievhone's finger moved so she was encouraged. "Mahal."
"Dennis ....." Gievhone whispered and a tear streamed down her cheek. "Its our daughter's birthday ..... today ..." Dennis nodded and kissed Gievhone's forehead.
"We will celebrate her birthday if you healed, okay? Just .... just don't give up." encouragement of Dennis. The healers took Gievhone to another hospital. Dennis immediately went along but he remembered the child.
"Where's Devon?" he immediately asked his four friends. They were even swallowed up because there was no answer
"W-We will find her, boss. Follow your husband." Dennis nodded and thanked the four then followed the wife.
The spirits arrived just in time, along with the five major spirits whose spells were fixed and removed.
They immediately caught the attention and bowed. Savannah was immediately nervous when they caught sight of Spirit Evo and started walking towards them. He remembered their deal.
Even Emerald was nervous because he heard Savannah's conversation with him.
"The deal is already done." Sav and Emerald were surprised to hear. The other two listeners frowned.
"W-What do y-you mean?" Savannah asked incredulously.
"Do you remembered what I've asked you? Devon exchanged herself instead of Heaven. She's now inside of my trader bag." they could not believe what they heard. Savannah suddenly burst into tears.
"How did that happen ?! Savannah?" Courtney ejaculated confusedly at the friend. Even Heaven had the same question. While Emerald remained silent.
"This is all my fault! Please! Give him back!" Savannah's voice begged.
Evo arc his lips into grin.
"We made a deal, Savannah. I'll help for a war and I did. Exchange of something you hate most. I can't bring back Devon." its last utterance before Devon's friends left.
That's why. That's why the clone of Devon was slowly vanishing and flurrying.
Before her flurries left flew with the air, she smiled sadly while looking at them. Until, she was gone.
