Chapter 64
It is that very important?
Amber laughed again. "Later, M-Moon Academy w-will f-fall." the father and son stared at Amber who turned into an ice statue.
The two had a bad feeling. "This is bad." Devon commented and glanced at her father.
"We need to get out of here and tell them." Dennis said. They both run fast to get rid of that big tornado and for their lives.
Dennis runs ahead and Devon has a hard time running because the tornado is so close behind him. She can't teleport because the wind force is strong.
It stopped and waited for the tornado. She looked at her father who's running away. He made a clone to follow his father so that Dennis would not notice.
He cannot leave the spirits. Especially since he felt he would be needed here. She can fight and be their support.
She smiled once again as the tornado totally ate her up.
It was spinning and he was a bit dizzy. She tried to composed herself and jumped on the middle.
He placed both hands on either side and let out ice.
He fought the tornado and even strengthened the force. It is certain that he will not weaken and will be lifting. She really hates that style. It inhaled the smaller the space of the tornado so it released even more ice.
The ice melts in the tornado and turns blue. He took a deep breath when he saw that the tornado was turning to ice, its rotation was also slowing down until it stopped and turned to ice forever.
Devon sighed as he sat down as the icy tornado ripped through. He sighed deeply and stood up then shook himself.
"What are you doing here ?! You don't need here." it was overturned when Evo appeared in front of him with a mole.
"I want to help." Devon replied after turning to himself and looking at him.
"Help?" Evo repeated and burst out laughing. "We don't need a weak Lunaphile." he added raising his eyebrow.
Third Person
Devon scoffed at what spirit Evo said. "Don't judge the book by its cover, Evo. Maybe you forgot you can't beat Aos?" the sarcasm lingered in Devon's gentle voice.
They measured the gaze. "Get your ass out of here. You'll just be doing it." the young man said in disgust.
"I can handle myself, Evo. I'm not weak as you." Devon fired back and sighed deeply.
Devon walked over and intentionally hit Evo's shoulder then stopped. "I can proove that this 'weak' you called, is stronger than you." Devon's last words before teleporting to Sera and Tres.
Evo rolled his eyes. "Why I'm seeing you with her, Sana?" he muttered himself. Sana is the former ice and snow spirit who died and her powers are lost.
Evo thinks, could it be Devon is .....
Devon got inside the illusion smoke and looked for Sera. The surroundings were a bit dark because of the smoke surrounding them.
"Devon!" Sera called so the girl turned around and saw their condition. He immediately approached and sat them down.
His eyes went to the knife that had stabbed Tres and he was unconscious.
"Take care of him. I'll deal with Spirit Frizz." he stared at the appearance of the spirit. It wipes away the tears that come out of him and quickly attacks.
Devon took a deep breath and released glowing ice to illuminate and heal Tres.
Devon quickly made an Ice Igloo when he saw a circle of smoke coming in their direction.
It had an impact and fortunately the shield he made was not shaken. He pulled out the knife so the blood came out. He put his hand there to stop the bleeding.
He thought of a way to stop the bleeding and how to heal it. For luna's sake, she's not that totally healer because she had no healing powers.
Use my healing ability. ' he seemed cold and stunned at the thought of hearing the cold and hoarse voice that was really familiar to his mind.
Mate. He's there to guide and protect Devon, despite of her stubborness.
"H-How ..." she muttered herself. He still couldn't help but stutter even if it was only in his mind that he could talk.
What about when they finally meet?
'Just hold his wound. I will transfer my healing ability to you. ' The girl seemed relieved by what she heard but she could still feel her heart beating fast due to nervousness.
Somewhat how, his presence is kinda intidimating even it's far away.
Devon saw the glow of his red string on his wrist and felt a strange energy in his body.
He sighed when he saw white energy coming out of his hand which was covered by Tres' bleeding wound.
Although he was amazed at what happened, he decided to treat Tres. Gradually the wound healed until no more blood came out of him.
"Thank you." she muttered and smiled a bit. She knows that her 'mate' heard it.
When he felt that there was no more smoke enveloping around, he removed the shield and the light bulb.
He saw that Sera was already holding Frizz unconscious. They were both wounded.
Devon teleported with the unconscious Spirit Tres to Sera's whereabouts.
Frizz was carefully laid down in the snow. Gerda and Amanda also approached where they were while the unconscious and wounded Luca was floating.
"I need to heal Luca's wounds first before starting the ritual to remove the spell from his body." Gerda explained.
"Let me do the favor." Devon volunteered and treated Luca's wounds and bruises.
"You're an Ice User, right? How could you heal?" Amanda asked.
Devon did not utter any word and focus on what she's doing.
"Devon?" calling Amanda waiting for an answer.
"It doesn't matter where I got it. Focus on the coming big wave." Devon answered as she changing the topic.
"Gosh! Of course. Amanda can you stop it?" Sera asked.
"We can stop the tsunami, except if he freezes." Amanda answered while cringing her forehead.
"You mean, Evo? He can keep time." Sera shot back.
Devon finished treating Luca so Gerda immediately performed the ritual for the two. He closed his eyes firmly and signed.
A red circle with a different language appeared in the snow, surrounding the two.
Amanda looked at Devon.
"Can you freeze the tsunami?" the girl turned to what the spirit had said.
Devon sighed deeply and glanced at the coming big wave. It is not wide and it is just a big, high wave.
"I do what I can." Devon gave her answer that Amanda nodded.
"Good. I'll help you Levity. Sera, you come?" he was in a fellow spirit who immediately nodded.
"You take care of them first." Sera said goodbye and at the same time went up in the air with Amanda.
Devon stood up and faced the oncoming big wave. He ran to meet the wave.
He fed on the waves and quickly waved both hands to release very strong ice energy.
Gerda watched as the waves gradually hardened and turned to ice. The spirit was nervous because Devon was inside and he might be frozen as well.
But it sighed as the ice gradually cracked. Until the big wave broke at the same time as Devon landed on the chin.
Her eyes widened when she saw Devon's appearance. Its hair is white and its attire has changed. At the top it has become off-shoulder and long-sleeved. Her dress turned blue and landed on the snow. Its eyes turned sky blue.
Third Person
"Dennis, here!" Klaus shouts at Dennis running with Devon's clone.
They hurried to the opening of the cave and stopped. They both gasped.
"Where's everyone?" Dennis immediately asked and calmed himself.
"Go out first with Luther and Lunox. I've been waiting for you here." Klaus explained as the two nodded.
"There's a bad news." aniya clone is Devon. Klaus looked at his behavior.
"What?"
"Amber planted explosives on the Moon Academy." Devon and Klaus's faces became serious. Well, Devon's clone didn't know that.
"How did you know?" clone question. Dennis glanced at her. "Amber told me."
"Explosives." Klaus repeated and looked at his friend. "Where does she get those?" he asked.
"Humans." Dennis muttered.
"It's really bad. We have to stop that or the Moon Academy will go down forever." said Klaus. They looked up and ran out of the cave at the same time.
They quickly reached the bottom of Moon Academy where the students were already looking up and looking at the visible floating island of Main.
"The barrier has been destroyed. It's starting." Klaus's anxious response.
They approached Luther's stand. "We need to go up there." Dennis immediately approached.
"Amber did something to our academy, Headmaster. And that needs to be stopped." Klaus whispered weakly. Others looked up at him.
"What do you mean?" Prof. Gill said in a low tone, too. Avoid being heard by students.
"Amber planted explosives in every corner of the floating island. If that can't be stopped, the island will fall down." Dennis's weak explanation made them sigh.
"We'll volunteer." Maxine said and glanced Desseri and Klaus that immediately nodded.
"I'll help too." Prof. Gill said.
"We too." Councilor Uno and Mr. Shin said in chorused.
"I'm coming." Lunox said.
"I'm in." also consent of Hm Luther.
"And me, of course. Here's the plan." Dennis said and signaled them to compress.
"We need to find the explosives with time. When you find them, stop them. Amber told me that there is a red button there to stop the countdown and not explode. We need to be careful." Dennis explained. They all nodded.
"Time is running. We need to stay in touch, too. You can telepathy, can't you?" they hid eight.
"How about us, here?" Devon joins the conversation. Her father approached her.
"You'll be fine, here. Besides, all of you are strong here. You can handle yourself and your mom." Dennis said and hugged the child.
Maxine, Desseri and Klaus also approached the children.
"We have something to do, sweetie. Take care of yourself." Desseri said goodbye and hugged her daughter Khianna.
"I will. You too." back answer it.
"Young man, don't be stubborn!" Klaus said to his son, frowning.
"But dad! What if--" Klaus immediately covered the child's mouth. "I'll be back soon. It's loud! And he's handsome!" Klaus bragged and put his arm around Sockey who just snorted.
"The wind, dad! Oh hey, it's gone!" Sockey pretended to drive his father away so Klaus beat him up.
"Dad!"
"I'll be back too. Don't be stubborn to follow if something happens." Maxine's reminder.
"Mom!" disobedient to Julliet. "You too, don't leave yourself there. Dad has sacrificed before, so promise not to leave me." Julliet cried. Maxine immediately hugged him, also sad.
that sound from above. And the eyes widen at what is seen.
"Is the island turning upside down ?!" one of them shouted.
"Avoid! Something's falling!" confused the students and him — his running, avoiding and basement on hard objects.
Trees, debris, and any other equipment fell from above.
