Aleck

I kept looking at Ra waiting for her to explain. “When I got to the apartment the realtor was just about to leave that was around eleven something. After Layal signed the papers, she called you. I was walking around, after the realtor left Layla got a call, I don’t know who it was, and she didn’t say anything. I Knew she called you earlier because I heard her say your name”.

“She went out to the balcony to take the call and she looked scared. When she came back into the apartment, she became quiet. I asked her what was wrong, and she said she was being blackmailed by her ex”.

I looked at dean and he was looking at me. So that was the call she received.
“What? Why didn’t she tell us “? Nella Asked

“I don’t know she was pretty shaken up. She said he had pictures of them together and videos he took of them unbeknownst to her and he was threatening her to post them online unless she gave him five hundred thousand dollars. I asked her if she told Dean and Aleck, but she didn’t answer. She stayed quiet”.

“I went to use the washroom and while I was in the washroom, I heard something huge fall over, so I hurried up. When I went back into the living room, I didn’t see her. I called for her, but she didn’t answer. I started checking around that’s when I saw her on the ground covered in blood. I rushed over to her and tried to get her up, but she wouldn’t budge. I was already covered in blood, I rushed back to the kitchen to get my phone when something hit me behind my legs, and I fell over then someone hit me on my hands”.

“I tried to turn around to see who it was, but the person had their foot on my back. I got hit at the back of my head the last thing I saw before passing out was Layla on the ground covered in blood. I’m sorry”.

“It’s not your Fault Rea. We’re not blaming you”. I said looking at her. The door opened and Deigo walked in.” Boss”.

“You’ll remain here and watch over her. Our parents and everyone standing in this room are the only ones allowed to see her and only on the weekends also only the nurse and doctors we approve”. Dean said.

“Yes Boss”. Ater that he left and went back outside.

We stayed there for two more hours and reluctantly left her there. I made sure to explain to Deigo, that she was his top priority. I brought the doctor and nurse that would oversee her and made sure they made their identities know to him. When we got back to the apartment, I didn’t say anything to him. The minute we walked through the door he grabbed the vase and threw it into the wall.

“FUCK”, he yelled. I didn’t say anything to him, I stood looking at him.
“Get Tony to find that fucking Asshole Dean because if I go looking for him. I may fucking lose it and kill him. Get Mac here and have him find out who went into that building while she was there”. I walked to the bar and grabbed a drink and stood there. We just found her and now she almost died on us.

He came over and stood next to me and grabbed a bottle. “Why didn’t she tell us”? I asked him. ” Didn’t she trust us”?.

“She does but maybe she was scared, not of us but what we're capable of doing to that fucking asshole if we found him”. He said quietly. We heard the elevator, when we turned around Chris and Andrew were standing there. They walked over to us.

“Did you already send someone after him”? Chris Asked.

“We're about to. Why are you two here”? I asked them. They just looked at us.

“I remember how you both lost your shit when topper tony said something he shouldn’t have also Mallory and Nella reminded us that you two could and would go on a fucking hunting spree for the fucktard” Chris said

“We don’t need either of you getting Charged with murder” Andrew said calmly.

Dean called tony and I called Mac telling him what I needed done while Chris and Andrew watched us closely. These idiots refused to leave. We sat most of the night drinking because what else was we supposed to do?. Around four that morning Mac waked into the apartment with the fucking idiot. The minute I saw him I saw red. I stood up making my way towards him when Andrew grabbed me.

‘Settle down Aleck. Chris Grab Dean. Let’s hear what he has to say first before you beat the shit out of him” Andrew said. I looked at him.

“Start fucking talking and if you say something we don’t want to hear you’re not leaving this fucking apartment alive”.

“WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU WANT FROM ME”?

“YOU fuck….” Chris grabbed Dean holding him back.

“Why did you try to blackmail her”? I asked him.

“I didn’t blackmail anybody. What shit are you on about wait is this about Layla?”, He said looking at us?

“So, you weren’t blackmailing her with videos and pictures”?

“What the fuck do you take me for? Look I love Layla and make no mistakes when I find a way to make it up to her, she’ll forgive me. I would never hurt her, physically I mean, I know I fucked up and that was the alcohol, but I hurt her feelings and nothing more. I would never do anything like blackmailing her especially when I’m trying to get her back” he said looking at us.

We were back to square one. “Why should we believe you”? Chris asked him.

“Because I have nothing to hide. Wait did something happen to her”? he asked worriedly.

We didn’t answer him. We just kept looking at him. “Where the fuck is she? What did you do to her”? he was yelling at the top of his lungs now.

“If you answer me truthfully, I’ll tell you”. Dean said.

“Fine what do you want to know”?

“Do you have any pictures or videos of her”? Dean asked him.

“Why would I…... wait, you think I have pictures of her. I may look like a scum but I’m not. Layal isn’t the type of person to let shit like that slide and I would never do that to her because she doesn’t deserve something like that to be done with her. Our life was private I never spoke a bad word about her to anyone”.

“She was attacked, beaten and left for dead. She is currently in the hospital in a coma”. I said looking at him and I could see the horror on his face.

“Which hospital”?

“Doesn’t matter you won’t be able to see her” Chris said looking at him’.

“Get out of here now and don’t ever let us see again”. I said looking at him. He didn’t say anything he walked out of the apartment.

“Mac put his, Macy, Lexi, Tina and Miranda all of their phones under surveillance. Round up everyone”.

“Yes boss”

Ande and Chris were looking at us. “We have over forty security guards they’re always around but ever seen. It’s time now for us to be seen in public. Aleck we’ll move the interview to tomorrow. Let Justin know”.

I just nodded. “It’s almost morning why don’t you guys get some shut eye. We won’t do anything crazy we promise” I said looking at them.

“I hope so because Mallory and Nella will hand our asses to us if you to get into trouble”. Chris said.

I left them and headed to her room. When I walked in, I saw her laptop on the bed. I picked it up and my hand accidently touched the key, and it came on. It was open she had about a hundred notifications. I checked her emails and I saw the subject lines and that just pissed me off. I walked out of the room and went straight back to the living room.

“Who the fuck is screwing with her” I asked handing the laptop to Dean. Andrew and Chris came over and checked it.
