Chapter 63

Layla

“Want me to tell you something, Silas? Here’s what would have happened. Like normal, I would have finished eating dinner, and then you would force me to sit down so you could listen to my heartbeat. After that, I would have gone to my room, and then, like clockwork, you would have barged into my room. This night would have been different, because tonight I would have killed you,” I said, looking at him.

He leaned over the table and tried grabbing me. That was when Dean grabbed him by his neck. He tried turning around but couldn’t. I heard a loud bang, and the ground shook. Aleck sat on the table and looked at him.

“YOU FUCKER!” Silas yelled.

Aleck shot him in both legs. “Did you really think you could fucking take what is ours?” Aleck asked him, shooting him in both his shoulders. Dean let go of him, and he sat there.

“Come here, Princess,” Dean said, stretching his hands out to me.
“Haha. Go ahead and tell them how I fucked you, Marie,” Silas said, which stopped me in my tracks.

Dean

When we walked into the house, he didn’t see us, and neither did she. When she looked up and saw us, I saw that relief in her eyes. When he said that shit, I just looked at her eyes, and I knew what the truth was. She stopped and looked at us. I walked around the table and grabbed her. I took her mouth, kissing her hard and deep. She grabbed onto me and returned my kiss.

I let go of her and looked at her. “I missed you like crazy, Princess,” I said, caressing her face. I let go of her and looked at him. She walked around the table and went to Aleck. The minute she was within reach, he grabbed her and kissed her.

“What the fuck?!” Silas yelled. She looked at him and smiled.

“I guess your men didn’t do a good job. You found me the day I was getting married, right, Silas? They know me, and they trust me. I don’t just have one husband; I have two, and they know I would rather die than let another fucking man touch me, so try again,” she said, smirking at him.

“You fucks. She’s mine!” he yelled.
“No, she isn’t. Your wife is dead. She is our wife,” Aleck said, grabbing her by her throat, and she moaned.
“You won't leave here alive,” he said, laughing.

“Yes, we will. Didn’t you hear it? Where are your security details? In the bunker that we just blew up,” I said, sitting down and looking at him.
“Finish him off, and let’s go home. I didn’t get my honeymoon,” she said, looking at us.

I stood up and looked at him. “Whether she has your wife’s heart or not. Whosever heart she has, she will always be ours. Her heart will always beat for us and only us.” Aleck said, pointing the gun to his head.

“No, wait, we can talk about this. We can have an arrangement,” he said.
“No. You killed your wife, so you deserve this,” I said, and shot him in the head.

His lifeless body fell onto the table. That’s when she started crying. I saw Mac and Diego walking in with their guns drawn. When they saw us, they relaxed.
“We’ll get started on the clean-up, boss,” Mac said, and I nodded.
“Brian, disable all the cameras. Let the captain head back. We’ll meet him at the docks tomorrow morning,” I said, and he replied by saying yes. I walked over to her and held her.

“Why did you take so long to come get me?” She said through tears.
“Sorry we took so long, Princess, but we’re here now,” I said.
“Come on, let’s get you home,” Aleck said, caressing her face.

She grabbed his hand and mine and started walking towards the stairs.
“Baby girl?”

“No. I need you. I need both of you right now,” she said as she continued walking. The minute we got into the room, she grabbed my shirt, pulling it over my head.

“Princess, wait,” I said, grabbing her neck and taking her mouth.

Layla

In one swift move, I was on the bed with Dean’s head between my legs, and Aleck took my mouth, kissing me.

“I missed you both so much, please,” I said in a whisper. Aleck dropped down onto the bed, pulling me down to him. In one move, he thrust into me, and I groaned out loud. I felt Dean move as he slid into my ass.
“Oh god.”

“I love you, Princess. You belong to us,” Dean said against my neck as he bit me, marking me, making my body shiver.
“Make me feel like you always do, please,” I said.

It was as if they were reacquainting themselves with my body. Every touch, every kiss, every orgasm they gave me made me truly alive.

Aleck

The sun was rising when we let go of her. Her entire body was marked. She fell asleep between us, and we just held her and let her sleep. I kept looking at her, letting it sink in that she was really still with us.

“She’s really here, right?” I asked Dean because he was looking at her too.
“She is, and she’s not leaving our sight. We’re getting a female bodyguard for her,” he said.
“I can hear you,” she said. I looked at her, and her eyes were still closed.
“Aren’t you asleep?” I asked her.

“No. I’m here, and it’s me, I promise. When I woke up, I was terrified, and I knew if I wanted to stay alive and see the two of you again, I had to do what he wanted. He never touched me, other than listening to my heartbeat.”

“I may have someone else’s heart, but the minute my eyes were open, all I thought of was the two of you and finding a way back to you. That crazy girl tried to kill me. I hope you have her.” She said, opening her eyes and looking at us. She sat up immediately and looked at us.

I don’t know what she was looking at or what she was looking for, but she got off the bed and walked into what looked like the bathroom. We sat up and followed her, but the door was locked.

“Princess, come on, open the door,” Dean said, knocking on the door. She opened the door and looked at us. She had tears in her eyes.

“I’m sorry. I should have done that last night. I didn’t mean to force either of you. I just realized that, basically, I have been dead for almost six months, and you both probably moved on with your lives,” she said.

I looked at Dean, then at her. “Baby girl, we’re not wearing our rings because we came here to do this. Move on? Never,” I said.

“We went so crazy when we lost you. To watch us and make sure we didn’t do something stupid to ourselves, Mal, Andrew, Mom, and Dad moved in with us. We became alcoholics, Princess. No one can ever replace you,” Dean said, looking at her.

“You promise?” She said through tears.
“We promise, baby girl. Now, grab a shower and come on; we need to head back home. Everyone is waiting for you,” I said.
“Okay,” she said quietly.

I looked at Dean, and he looked at me. “She still doesn’t believe it. We need to prove it to her,” he said.
“I know. Get the chopper here. We’ll pay the captain, and we’ll head back. I need to get her locked away at home. Only then will I feel better,” I said.

Layla

I know when they say something, they usually mean it. But six months is a long time. After my shower, I headed back downstairs and found Dean waiting for me. The minute I was next to him, he grabbed me and kissed me.

“The chopper will be here soon. We’re going home. It’s you and only you, Princess. We waited all our lives for you. Do you think we could move on? Even if you weren’t here, we still wouldn’t be with anyone else. You’re not replaceable, Layla, never.” He said, kissing me.
