With my arms crossed over my chest, I watched from above as people moved, placing weapons, drugs, and substances that stop or weaken the paranormal into boxes. I believe there were also poisons and who knows what else to kill werewolves, vampires, even fairies.

The culprit of everything, which caused both me and Evelyn problems, was talking to one of the vampires, at least from where I was, in the old abandoned houses, where no one would even think to look, I heard a conversation about some kind of meeting and signing of contracts.

If his ally procures a weapon to kill me outright, he will receive a good reward in return.

No one had noticed me yet because I had put on an invisibility cloak, I was like in a magic bubble that protected my body and muted all the sounds I made.

Crouching down, I looked at the whole parameter, weighing each step, planning how I would get to him, so as not to cause unnecessary panic.

Good thing I didn't kill him yet because I knew someone was getting him all the stuff he needed. I needed to find out who it was and where he was.

With an evil smile on my face, I pulled out two blades from my back and sliced ​​a few heads off as I flew. The good thing was that they couldn't fly so after dodging a few that jumped on the walls, I finally landed on the ground and gave everyone my burning stare and form. It had gotten hotter around me when I felt three bloodsuckers behind me.

Avoiding the sharp fangs, I stabbed one in the chest while kicking the other with all my might. The third took the opportunity and grabbed my leg with its sharp claws, trying to bite me but started screaming until it felt the flames I pushed out of my body.

Grinning, I let out a loud roar as I turned towards him and drove full force into his body, pushing my hand through his skin so I could rip out his heart.

The next had a similar fate, until about one hundred or so vampires, all were dead, laying on the ground. One with organs sticking out, some without heads, and some already burned, their flesh still burning as they screamed in pain.

When I was done, I lowered my swords and glared at the main target who was staring at the whole thing with his mouth open in shock, not even understanding what is happening, he even didn’t try to run away. Well, easier for me.

"Surprise," I smirked, watching as the traitor pulled his gun from his pocket and pointed it at me.

I had to laugh at that, "You mean to stop me with that? You're in trouble this time because you no longer have an antidote to kill me. It's too late," taking steps closer, the man raised his weapon higher.

"Don't come any closer or I'll shoot. There are bullets in here that can put you down, so don't test me to prove it, okay?" The shock had worn off, now he was just angry.

Before he could realize what I was doing, I was at him with great speed, kicking the gun out of his hands which immediately fell into my hand. Aiming it at him, I grabbed him by the neck, lifting the coward into the air.

"You have ten seconds until you tell me who you're working with to kill me. Maybe I'll make your death easier and faster after that, so don't think too long," growling in his face, the man was now shaking in fear.

The brave and clever bastard, who thought he had defeated me and frightened me with his attacks, now trembled like a leaf.

"If you keep quiet, I'll rip your tongue out of your mouth myself to take it to someone who knows how to get information out of it, so speak up!"

“Okay, okay!” with sweat on his forehead, his gaze was on the gun as he licked his lips before speaking.

"It's another Phoenix, it's your twin brother, separated at birth by your mother so you wouldn't know you're related. He found out about you, so he's trying to kill you through me so you don't suspect it's him. After he succeeds to get you out of the way, he'd go after your wife. He wants her ability so he can use it on others.’’

My head was buzzing with the information I learned and before he could say anything else I took my knife and slashed his throat, blood spurting out. I could feel it on my face leaving blood stains. Dropping him to the ground, a muscle twitched in my cheek as I wiped the blade of my knife against the sleeve of my cloak.

Knowing that I have another brother who turns out to be another Phoenix, even though it was impossible, knowing that I was the only one, I didn't have time to think anymore.

It was time to hunt.
