Another mission
At the south fort.
Wyiner was looking through the report on the northern territories.
He was accompanied by Yean and Beneth. Wyiner touched his chin. He had a tight expression on his face. "Monsters are attacking northern territory, and they can't handle them," he remarked sternly. "My lord," Yean said, "doesn't it seem like monsters are breaking our control by the day?" "Yes, and it appears they genuinely want to take the world in their hands," Beneth said. Yean gave Beneth a warning glance to warn him not to say things like this. Beneth tried to smile and dropped his gaze as soon as he spotted him. Wyiner was looking over the report but didn't respond to any of the questions.
Wyiner’s Aside.
Maxilin is not here. I simply can not make a decision without his help. My brother is also in charge of the western battle. I can't send him a letter to ask him to help me. I grimaced and fixed my gaze on Beneth. "Yes, you are right, Beneth," I answered his question. They are hell-bent on ruling the world. " Both Yean and Beneth exchanged glances. They were startled to hear that Wyiner did not react furiously.
Wyiner suddenly looked up at Beneth and said, "Beneth, summon Evan to my room." Wyiner ordered Beneth to bow and go out of the chamber. "Yeah, did you send the letter?" Wyiner asked as Beneth walked away.
"Yes, my lord, I sent," Yean answered, "but I still haven't received any letters from there." "Why doesn't he send the letter?" muttered Wyiner. "Does something happen there, my lord?" Yean asked.
I was considering what Yean had stated. Perhaps something happened there. "Yeah, keep your eyes open, okay," I added as I stood up from my chair. "Yes, my lord," he said as he walked out of the room. I walked up to the balcony and began to whistle quite loudly. One pigeon flew towards Wyiner in a flash and sat on his hand as he extended his arm.
"Coo"; "coo".
Wyiner smiled and gently caressed his back. It made the sound "coo, coo" to express his pleasure. "Listen up buddy," Wyiner said. " You need to meet with Maxilin and deliver this note to him." He tied a note to his leg and a maxilin kerchief around his neck while he spoke.
"Coo" coo."
Then he flew away as soon as he could. While staring at the flying pigeon, Wyiner mumbled. "Maxilin, I hope you're doing well."
The opposing viewpoint.
I emerged from the chamber with my sword. I noticed Elizabeth downstairs, playing with Kazia. They stopped playing and stared at me as I walked downstairs. When Elizabeth spotted me downstairs, she rushed up to me and grabbed my cloak, saying, "maxilin." "Are you all right now?" she asked. I gave a friendly nod and smiled. This girl's nice statements are making me weak towards her. No one asked whether I was okay after my mother had gone. I fixed my focus on Kazia, but she turned her sight away from me. "Are you going somewhere?" Elizabeth asked abruptly. "Yes, Elizabeth," I said. "Do you want me to show you around this town?" I asked. I stated it on purpose. Because I've had my doubts since the beginning that this little girl knows something. Her eyes brightened up as she heard me, and she answered, "Yes, I want to go out with you." I haven't gone out in a long time." I narrowed my eyes as I heard her. Why doesn't she go out? If Nuckelavee only appeared at night, what was the problem with the day?
Also, I noticed people working here during the day. "Maxilin, I'd want to go as well," Elizabeth stated. But, all of a sudden, Kazia nodded her head as if to say no. "Why not?" I asked, looking at her. She took a step back and spoke with her hands. "Master, won't allow it," she said, with her fingers moving. "Where is your master?" I asked. "Father is in his office room," Elizabeth said before she could say anything else. Maxilin, he won't be here till the evening. Then what's the problem if I accompany you? " I stared at Kazia, but she remained silent. I explored the room for the other maid, but she was not present. "Kazia, where is the other maid?" I asked. She bent her head even further and clutched her own hands when she heard me. "Maxilin, the second one, hasn't arrived yet," Elizabeth said. When Kazia heard Elizabeth talking, she tried to stop her. "What's up, Kazia?" "I'm not frightened of her," Elizabeth stated emphatically. Kazia widened her eyes and placed her fingers on her lips when she heard her. Elizabeth gave her a grimace and turned her eyes to me. "Let's go, Maxilin." She extended her hands to take her up as she said, "I'll show you around today." I smiled a bit too forcefully and lifted her up. I looked at Kazia and said, "Don't worry, we'll be here soon."
