Elizabeth
Fort South.
Physician was checking on the elderly lady. I was waiting for him outside the room. He emerged after a time. “Mr., is she all right?” I asked. “Well, my lord,” he replied, bowing slightly, “she isn’t okay.” Her physique is frail, and I think she has been tortured for some time. I discovered various injuries on her body."
“What sort of injuries?” I said, sighing heavily. He stated as they walked, “Her some particular body area was burnt. It doesn’t appear to have happened by chance.” “I see, so it’s not infectious, right?” I asked. “No, my lord,” he answered.
“But, my lord, if you decide to keep her here, I would advise you to be careful. After all, you’re aware of what’s going on outside. “No one can be trusted,” he said. “Don’t be worried. If she was possessed, she wouldn’t be able to enter our fort so easily. Anyway, appreciate the time, “I added.
“It is my pleasure, Lord.” He responded, “I’ll come see her tomorrow.” I smiled and gestured for a guard to assist the doctor. They approached the gate. I stood there staring at their path for a long time. I turned around and headed back to the hall room. I stared at the door as I approached the room where the lady was.
Evan’s aside.
This is bizarre. If she didn’t know who I was, why did she call me the devil? Did she simply come here to meet Uncle and accuse his nephew of being a devil? It’s complete rubbish. I stepped up to the second floor, my brow furrowed.
The opposing viewpoint.
‘Thunderbolts have struck.’
Maxilin loudly banged on Mr. Alex’s door. He continued to knock, but no one answered. Maxilin made a fist.
Maxilin’s aside.
What’s the matter with him? Is he really that horrified that he can’t even look at her daughter? Or is there something more he’s keeping hidden from me? I was going to knock on his door again when he gently opened it. “What is going on, Mr. Alex?” I grimaced and asked frankly. “What happened to her?” I asked him in a loud voice. Mr. Alex was stammering, “I-I,” but I noticed a shadow inside his chamber. I focused my gaze to see it. Inside his room, it was fairly dark. “I-I don’t know,” Alex was going to remark, but Maxilin disregarded him and walked inside his room. “W-what are you doing, Maxilin?” Alex asked.
I strolled inside his room, turning my eyes at every turn. However, I was unable to find anything. I dropped my gaze and thought something before returning my gaze to Mr. Alex. “Mr. Alex, tell me what’s wrong with Elizabeth,” I asked.
He made a stern expression and abruptly remarked while staring into my eyes. “I have no idea.” “I just heard Kazia banging on my door, and then.” Mr. Alex took a long breath and added, “Then when I got to her room, I saw her like this.”
I was listening carefully to everything he said. One thing I observed was that he was quite calm. But when I last saw him, he was trembling and his eyes were filled with anxiety and worry. He has become a completely different person. I dropped my sight after hearing him. This man just did not say anything to save his child. What exactly is his problem? What happened to the other maid? Why isn’t she here? However, I feel like I noticed a shadow here. I took a deep breath. I understand that now is not the time to consider this. We need to find a way to save her. Mr. Alex, as her father, wants to know what I’m going to do with her.
So I said, “Mr. Alex, I’d want to do something with Elizabeth.” So I need your help. “He moved his gaze away from me and sat down on the bed. “You are free to do whatever you want.”
But I don’t think you can save her now, “he remarked abruptly. As soon as I heard it, I tightened my eyes and said, “What are you saying, Mr. Alex?” He set the glass down and returned his gaze to me. “Save her,” he said afterwards. “I’m not going to say anything.”
What is the matter with him? I didn’t quite understand what he was thinking. “Get out of here, Maxilin.” “I have work,” he snapped. I went completely blank when I heard him. He just told me to get out of here. What’s the matter with his tone? He didn’t seem to be speaking, and I was hearing someone else’s voice. I approached him and asked, “Mr. Alex, are you all right?” I asked, but received no response from him. “ Mr. Alex,” I said again as I turned around to see my back. I put my hand on his shoulder as I called his name. But then he turned back to me, shoved me aside, and said, “It’s all your fault, Maxi.” I’m going to lose my daughter because of you. No one, absolutely no one, can now save her. My wife will take her with her as well.“
“How could you make her angry?” Why did you kill Nuckelavee? She isn’t going to spare us. Get the hell out of here. “Get out!” he yelled. I was staring into his eyes. I couldn’t find the right words to express myself. It wasn’t Mr. Alex because his voice and eyes were different. Is he under the influence of something? And how did he know that I had already dispatched the monster?
And wife? Now, what about this wife issue? But then I heard something from upstairs. Someone seems to be breaking stuff. The sound was coming from Elizabeth’s chamber. I didn’t stop for a second before walking upstairs. When I opened the door, I noticed Elizabeth standing and lowering her head. Her eyes were shut tight. Kazia was in the corner. She was terrified and trembling. “Elizabeth,” I said, as I approached her.
“Elizabeth, can you hear me?” I said, pulling a knife from my concealed sheath. I didn’t expect her to turn herself into a devil in a matter of minutes. I could also sense a powerful energy surrounding her. I said, “Kazia.” As she stared at me, I motioned for her to get ready. “Elizabeth, I’m Maxilin,” I said again. “Take a look at me, sweetheart.” I became aware of Elizabeth’s sluggish head movement. I noticed the black veins on her face as she gazed completely straight at me. Her eyes were closed, and her nose was bleeding.
