Chapter 11

"Doctor how is she" he asked with so much worry in the pitch of his voice, he was scared. he prayed he wasn't to late in saving her ,had he done it ? ,had he destroyed the poor girls life?, he knew he disliked her but he wouldn't want her to go through such a thing.

"She's okay and stable now but I think it would take her some time to get over this" the doctor said to Amir who was looking rough, his tie was now limping to the left side of his shirt. his shirt was untucked and his hair was looking rough and disorganized.

"what do you mean by time to get over it?" Amir said with confusion clear in his voice, has his worst fear come true, was she rapped, did he do it, He thought with his hands at akimbo.

"yeah luckily for her she wasn't rapped, but at the time when she woke up she was screaming at the nurses with fear. she was shouting don't touch me please. like she was also crying, its all from shock and fear but thank God she wasn't rapped" the doctor said making Amir feel at ease. at least she wasn't rapped, he thought with a loud sigh escaping his lips.

"OK can I go see her? "Amir asked while tucking his shirt into his trouser.

"No she's under sedatives, like I said she was in shock that's why I had to inject her" The doctor said in one breath.

"Oh ok when will she be awake?"  Amir said with so much ease and softness in his voice.

"the sedative will ware off in six hours" the doctor said.

"OK" Amir said sitting on the waiting room chair but a call from mynah startled him

Mynah: Amir are you mad?
That was the first thing mynah said as Amir picked up the call.

Amir: Mynah chill, what's up ? Why are you shouting....

Mynah: you told your bodyguard to announce what happened at the office to the press, are you okay?.

Amir: what happened? I wanted to make him pay for what he did to poor Ruma and yeah if that's madness then I'm mad.

Mynah: Amir breath in and out please and you'll understand what you've just done.

Amir : haaaaaaaaaaaa ( breathing in and out ) OK I don't get what you mean.....

Mynah : if its not known to you ,ruma is already trending on social media and if this rape stuff is out then you'll damage her image and yours ......

Amir: OMA( oh my Allah ) you're right, oh no the deed has been done ...

Mynah: Amir just breath in and out ,don't worry I stopped them just in time ,the deed hasn't been done yet. Luckily Zukor told me and I stopped him right on time so chill its all fine....

Amir: thank you sooooooooo much ,I love you. I wasn't in my right State of mind ,and as you know jimmy is so....

Mynah: its OK ....so how's ruma ?.

Amir: she's fine but she's in shock and fear ...

Mynah: Alhamdudilah, and I'm sure a little therapy section will fix things right ....

Amir: yeah I'm very sure ......
Sir she's awake ,a nurse said as she walked to where Amir sat on the bench "Alright " he said to her "what's room ?" He asked still on the phone with mynah "room 209" she said and he nodded as she leaves

Amir : mynah I'll speak to you later ,bye

Mynah : OK my regards to ruma .....

Amir; OK I'll inform her ,bye and please help me with the client ,you know? The one from "establisher builders " yeah that one ,you'll find the files in My safe ,you know the password right?

Mynah: yeah I know the password and don't worry I'll take care of it.

Amir: thank you .( hangs up ) .....

In no time he was off to Ruma's room, he took the elevator making it fast, he got to the room door but he stopped in his pace as he heard ruma shouting and crying "please let go, don't touch me" Ruma said to the nurse who was trying to fix her pillow.

"what's wrong here?" Amir said while walking into the room.

"she's having a shock"the  nurse said to Amir who was now looking worried.

"Ruma it's okay" he said sitting on the chair next to her.

"Don't touch me!" she said in fear and tears.

"Ruma I won't touch you I promise" he said stretching his hand forward

"NO" she shouted as she moved back.

"Ruma I promise! " he said and she immediately hugged him "please don't let him touch me, he'll do it" she said in so much tears as she hugs him tight squeezing his shirt.

"yeah I won't let him" he said to her and she pulled out immediately and sat up but still in fear.

"Nurse please give her the sedative" he said sofly to the nurse who filed the tube with sedative injection which she injected Ruma and she dozed off immediately.

"stay here with her, in no situation should you leave her" Amir said to the nurse who nodded and sat on the chair before ruma.

Amir on the other hand walked to The doctors office where he talked to the Doctor on the situation at hand,

"Doctor will therapy section help her?" He said to the doctor who was busy looking through Ruma's file.

"yeah therapy section will surely help her" the doctor said dropping the file on the desk.

" can I take her home?" Amir asked with so much worry in his voice.

"No I think She'll be better over here" the doctor said.

"Do not worry I'll get nurses to take care of her at home and if you're needed I'll call you" Amir said and the doctor had no choice to agree.

"if you say so, I'll get her discharge papers ready" the doctor said and Amir nodded as he gets up and left.
