"You must be stupid" rumaina's uncles words pierced Amirs heart from different angles, he felt as if he has lost ruma forever.

"Ab..." Amir was cut short by ruma.

"If saving my life means he is stupid, then he is!, If taking good care of me means he is stupid then he definitely is, if Forgiving this rude village girl means he is stupid then he is" ruma said, slowly.

"Abba, Amir sheik saved my life. I was almost killed by someone and Amir took the bullet for me, He took it right in the chest and this man that you are seeing died and came back to life all bec..." she choked on her tears as she spoke "because of me" she whispered her last statement as she wiped her tears.

"If saving your niece's life is stupidity, the yes it is" she said.

Her uncle's Expression went blank for a moment,

"He did All that?"her uncle asked and she nodded "I hope you are not lying?" Her uncle asked.

"No Abba" she responded.

"Do you truly like my niece?" He asked Amir and he nodded in all seriousness.

"Yes I truly love her" he said.

"Then you may marry Her" Those were just mere words coming from uzairu, but Amir felt like he had won a lottery, And Ruma was that lottery.

"Okay, And thanks For saving her life. I owe you one" her uncle mumbled.

"Thank you Abba!" Ruma thanked him.

"Thank You Sir" his smile knew no bound, he will finally be with his one true love, the only woman he had ever truly loved, the only woman he had exchanged his life for, yes he was In love. A love that knew no bound.

TWO DAYS LATER

She stared up at the ceiling, trying her best Not to burst from happiness, Amir's dad had come yesterday and had asked for her hand in marriage along with his mum, who had certainly changed allot over the years.

"Ruma!" She jolted right up from the bed as zarahu's voice came in loud.

"Na'am" she picked up her shayla and placed it on her head.

She walked into the compound where she saw zarahu standing with musbahu who had just Arrived from school.

"Tiger how was your day?" She ruffled musbahu's curly hair.

"Horrible, my economics teacher is a witch!" He said whilst taking off his dirty socks.

"we'll talk about this later, for now go to your room and take a shower" she said and he nodded before walking away.

"And why were you yelling my name?" She said to zarahu.

"Mrs Juliet, your Romeo said that you should get ready, he is taking you out" she said and ruma couldn't help but blush at zarahu's cheesy words.

"To where?" She pretended not to care.

"How am i supposed to know" zarahu said. "Tell me something ruma, who is Mynah?. The guy with him!" zarahu said making ruma roll her eyes.

"mynah is his best friend" ruma said and zarahu nodded.

"I like him" zarahu declared making ruma gasp in great surprise.

"Really?" she questioned and zarahu nodded.

"I'll speak to him for you then" ruma said zarahu couldn't help but squeal. A squeal that held great joy.

"yayy" Zarahu mouthed happily while ruma chuckled at her cousins childishness.

"Ruma Amir ya na nan (Ruma Amir is here)" She heard muabahu voice coming from the veranda.

"okay, tell him I'm coming" ruma said before she quickly ran towards her room where she ran towards her wardrobe and brought out one of her most beautiful gown which was colored in Amir's favorite color.

She wore it in a haste and did some touch of makeup before spraying some perfume on her clothing.

"how do I look?" Ruma asked zarahu who nodded with her eyes stocked outside the window and staring at mynah who was busy talking on the phone while seated on the bench.

"Zarah"ruma spanked Her which earned her a yelp from zarahus mouth.

"You look Good" zarahu said and ruma nodded while taking a glimpse of Amir who was talking to musbahu, who was showing Amir his Rock collection.

"well I see, you are looking at mynah" ruma teased and zarahu Simply nodded in a nonchalant manner.

"yes and don't forget to talk to him but don't tell him I like him, just make him like me"zarahu said and ruma chuckled.

"whatever!" Ruma said and zarahu chuckled.

"have fun with your boyfriend" zarahu said.

"that's fiancee to you my dear" ruma said before exiting. She walked slowly towards Amir who was presently talking to uzairu whose face held a fatherly expression.

"yes Abba, I'll bring her back before magrib" Amir said to uzairu who still didn't trust Amir.

"you better" uzairu said and Amir nodded.

"Amir" Ruma called, Amir turned and looked at his beautiful soon to be wife who stared at him lovingly.

"Ruma you are ready" Amir said nervously. Within him he wanted to hug her but with uzairu being before them. It was a wrong option.

"Abba nayi kyau ko (Dad do I look good?)" Ruma asked uzairu and he nodded.

"You guys should go. Be back before dawn" he said and both Amir and Ruma nodded. He left them after patting Amir on his shoulder with a warning glare, which said Don't you dare do any funny business.

"That was a battle" Amir let out the breath he held in.

"Ruma" mynah's melodious voice called from behind.

"yes mynah" ruma said with a playful smile on her lips at the thought of what Zarahu had said to her regarding mynah.

"Can I speak to you in private?" mynah said earning him a glare from Amir.

"she's not wife yet. And she is my little sister" Mynah said and ruma nodded.

"let's go" ruma said to mynah and they both walked over to a corner of the compound.

"What is it you want to talk about?. Did Amir do something?" she sent a glare at Amir who sent a glare at mynah who was also staring at Amir.

"No, it's about your sister. Zarah, I want her number" mynah said making ruma smile so widely.

"Alright, I'll speak to her first though" Ruma pretended making mynah nod.

"Thank you lil sister" Mynah whispered into rumas ear.

"No p big bro"ruma said before leaving. She walked towards Amir who was so curious to know what happened.

"what did he tell you?" Amir asked while they were walking towards the door.

"That I love you" Ruma said while running towards the car.

"Ruma be careful" Amir said in a chuckle as he watched the woman of his dreams run.
