Everything Happened So Fast

The battle was ferocious, and I felt like I was watching a battle of good vs evil waiting on the edge for the good to win. Things were happening so fast yet felt so slow. The warrior had Maverick on the ground wearing them down, but the cocky, arrogant warrior thinking he had the upper hand let up on Maverick. He began stalking me with a sinister smile on his face. My strength still has not come back to me I was basically at his will. I could feel Akiva slowly coming back to me, but I did not want to rush the process causing either of us harm.

He gained distance and was soon right in front of me, so close his sweat was dripping off almost landing on me. For the first time in a long time, I felt terrified, like the first time when Uncle Jeff was deranged and attacked me. This time I do not think I could defend myself as my hands were still tied up and blood pouring from my body, still not fully healed. As he grabbed me by my hair raising me to my feet, my legs shaking from being weak, he took his tongue licking the blood off my cheek, “Mm mm, you are going to be so delicious, I can not wait to have you.” I spit in his face; he would have to kill me first. “I will never be yours.”

As his k-9 extended and began to laugh as if he had won, I saw red. I felt the warmth of the red liquid spattered all over my body. I watched the life leave his eyes and as my eyes looked down, I saw a hand with claws through his chest holding a heart in his hand. His body fell down to the ground and standing there with blood covering their body was Maverick. His chest rose and fell as he breathed heavily. He then quickly snapped his eyes at me, not wasting any time dropped to his knees ripping my chains apart grabbing me into his embrace as if I could disappear at any moment.

Without thinking or letting another moment pass, “Maverick, I love you.” He pulled back and I was nervous not knowing his reaction, he smiled kissing me hard yet full of passion, and emotion. He pulled away, “I love you Micaiah, I will not be letting you out of my sight for quite some time.” I smiled at him seeing everything I wanted in life right before me. A thunderous clap pulled us out of our distracted moment. The witches were still battling, each growing more and more tired at that moment. I held onto Maverick with everything I had scared at this moment. EJ, Dylan, and Shawn ran to us holding us tightly in a group hug. We all turned watching the two battles left before us.

Malcolm and the other Alpha were going head-to-head, both wearing down, and bloody, and it was a war between them. the fear in my stomach was causing me to slightly shake, scared for Malcolm and Lacey. Bianca, using her hand threw Lacey far into a tree, causing her to land with a thud. Malcolm was momentarily distracted causing the Alpha to get the upper hand landing a hard uppercut to Malcolm knocking him on his back, he could possibly be out cold.

From that moment everything happened so fast blink and you would miss it. Lacey got onto her feet seeing Malcolm on the ground her emotions rising within her causing a volleyball size electric ball to grow between her hands. She tosses it straight at Bianca hitting her in the stomach. The Alpha ran behind her taking his claws and impaling Lacey through the back into her stomach. She fell, Bianca, falling to her death looked at me smiling and through a dark glowing ball of her power at me. Maverick shoved me out of the way taking the hit in the process falling to the ground immediately barely breathing. I screamed seeing Maverick almost lifeless.
