"Everyone panicked because of what they found out, the heir will be lost when it happens especially when the transfer of him to the position as king of the vampires is imminent. But me, I'm worried as his brother."

"Thank you." I just nodded as I look st my wrist watch.
"I have something to do, I guess we should go?"
"ah yeah, oo nga pala sorry I forgot by the way thanks again for saving him and also for telling me."
"hmm. Thank you too." She smiled at me as she rode on her car. I did the same and we drove in different directions together.
I felt my whole body weaken at what I found out.
Any time from now the pain I will experience will get worse, I don"t know if I can handle that yet.
SHENLO
"Wait," I muttered as my driver continued to drive.
I see from the car window a woman sitting in a corner of a cafe next to the glass wall, she"s busy facing her laptop while a coffee frappe is placed on the right side of her hand. She's too focus on what she's been doing. Meet its eyebrow and seem to have trouble being brought up.
"I'm going inside, you go home first. I'll just commute home." I told the driver and he nodded. I went downstairs and gently closed the door, I kept staring at the woman and suddenly I realized I was smiling.
I see, so you owned this cafe, Reign Mcdemort.
The first time I saw that woman, I immediately noticed that she was avoiding others, she's too distant that you will die just to get in touch with her. She's pretty interesting, she has this cold personality that would give you thrill.
When I first saw her I can still remember the first question formed in my mind. 'what's behind her eyes?'
All over his face, his eyes are more noticeable the way it looks and you as if it is digging into your whole being, unpredictable, mysterious and insidous.
That made me want to know her more.
I surveyed the entirety of the café.
Its a corporate type of a café after all. It have a fully established interior design palette, including the graphics, colors schemes and even the lightning.
The interior design is very comfortable colorful attractive yet simple. Her café is a fresh blend of neo-traditional and sophisticated. The fresh monochromatic theme has a corporate feel. Furthermore, the comfortable furniture, glossy surfaces, decorative brushed cooper inlays and the beautiful outdoor seating is perfect for dining out.
I just smiled after looking at the whole thing.
Good choice.
Instead of going to the counter I went straight in front of him and sat down.
"Hey, so this is your cafe huh?" He glared at me and turned his attention back to the monitor.
"Yeah."
"Hmm, cool! So care to recommend me something? The ones that customers keep coming back to? I want to try it."
"Everything we serve they repeat."
"Hmm okay then, Iced Mocha will do."
She raised her right hand without taking away her eyes off her monitor, immediately someone approached us.
"Yes mam?"
"one Iced mocha for her,"
"One iced mocha coming up mam, your order will be served in 5 minutes."
"Thank you!" he frowned and left, I smiled to face Reign again while he was still serious about what he was doing.
"Can you be my friend?" I immediately litany.
"I don't want a friend and to be a friend." Ouch, its very frank.
"Awe, why?" she didn't reply that I frowned.
My suspicion is correct, she"s not as approachable as me. Well, I'm approachable, sometimes hehe.
I silently watched him with every blink of his eye, frowning at him as well as the slight formation of his lips as if annoyed at what he was doing.
"Have you and sage broken up yet?" He immediately looked up at me and could not answer.
"Ow! Don't get me wrong, I don't see you anymore, I often see you together and talk." He just shrugged at me.
"No wonder why the prince chooses you to be his girl, you are different from everyone."
"Can we just stop talking about him?"
"Oh sorry."
"Its okay," she flatly said.
Looks like something happened between them.
Well actually that was also one of the reasons why I wanted to meet him.
The Frost Family is known as lifting vampires. They are the royalties, Sage is the future king, while those like me are just humble ordinary vampires following them. Besides they are the strongest and should be feared they are also the richest and most influential. So no one is trying to oppose them, why would they do that, they can't even surpass that.
And then reign entered the scene, the news spread in the school that they were, only a few vampires enter that school most of the students there are 100% human. That's where I chose to go because of Sage, I've always admired him. Yes, I like him so I'm curious why among so many women he chose this reign, or maybe there's something I don't know? and that's what I want to know.
My order arrived so I paid immediately.
"Hmm I hope one day, be your friend. I am looking forward to be your friend mcdemort." I sipped on the frappe I was holding and smilingly looked at him who was now seriously looking at me.
"Taste good, I didn't go wrong with the café I chose to enter, its really the type of café which has a brand name that appeals to a worldwide audience. I'm bit impressed." I stood up and gave him another smile.
"Got to go, see you tomorrow."
She just nodded to me as I wave my hand but before I walk away, I look back to her.
"Shenlo Arden by the way, nice to meet you again Reign riley Mcdemort." Introducing me smiling turned away and without hesitation looked out of the Cafe.

REIGN
'Shenlo Arden'
I really don't like your presence.
I was shaken and turned my attention back to what I was doing when katelyn suddenly approached me with a look of astonishment on her face.
"I can smell her, she's a vampire too right?" he said almost in a whisper.
"Yeah,"
"I don't like the way he looks and smiles, smelling burnt plastic."
"Katelyn .."
"Just saying, be careful. Even salt looks like a sugar." Then he stood up and went back to what he was doing.
I leaned back in my chair and looked outside.
'I know,'

Compared to the previous days, I came home early, because I felt worse and I knew I could no longer work properly.
I just let Katelyn manage the Cafe first. Upon entering the house, I went straight to the kitchen and drank some water.
I feel very thirsty but no matter how many times I drink water it doesn"t go away.
I'm looking for a kind of drink, the one that is cold and draws in the throat, something that smells like rose and metallic and tastes like mint and velvet.
I shook my head and faintly climbed into the bedroom. I slowly closed the door as my chest heaved. I can't breath, I gasped for air and tried to breath but I only got weaker and couldn't breathe, I was depressed until I felt myself fall to the floor. I tried to open my eyes but my body is too weak to even move. Once again I felt a strange pain, like something is burning me down.
From head to toe the strange pain I had felt several times was biting.
A loud scream escaped my lips as my body curled in pain.
'I hate to say this but please someone help me'

KATELYN
As I was closing the cafe I felt a strange nervousness. I hurried to the closing and quickly walked away but something suddenly blocked in front of me.
Its eyes glazed over as if it wanted to kill me.
I step back.
Not now, I know reign is not okay.
It quickly rushed at me and was ready that I should fight when someone suddenly intercepted in front of me and without much difficulty grabbed it by the neck and quickly stoned to where. I heard its growl in pain.
"Get out." at that voice I immediately obeyed and ran away but his red eyes staring at me did not escape me.
I ignored what had happened and hurried home.
At the door when I was about to enter, I could already hear reign's scream.
I was immediately confused and ran in, I didn't care if I had anything in common, I went to his room and you quickly opened it, reign blinded me squirming on the floor.
Her eyes are red and her fangs are now came out from where its hidden.
There was something black like a root that also drew on his face and little by little there was some kind of black liquid coming out of it even on other parts of his body.
I felt pity for what I saw, again and again.
I ran closer to him and forced him to get up, he kept crying in pain and I knew even I could do nothing with what he was going through.
As I did before, I wiped him with lukewarm water, he gradually calmed down and fell asleep, probably due to fatigue and weakness.
The black roots are also slowly disappearing. After I wiped him, I dressed him because his clothes were already covered in black blood.
I would have stood up to notice that there was some shadow visible on the curtain standing outside the veranda, as if it was staring at the fast asleep reign. When he noticed me approaching he suddenly realized it was gone and when I pulled back the curtain I could find nothing. I tried to smell the air but I smelled nothing.
Is my suspicion correct?

I quickly turned my back on the veranda and closed the door and curtains again then hurried downstairs carrying reign's clothes. Even though I'm busy doing it, the shadow never leaves my mind.
Knowing if it"s you, I can"t go wrong.
I was on my way back to reign's room when I passed by the living room for a while. The moonlight touches my face from the open window, I immediately approached and closed it then went back to reign's room but I was surprised that he was no longer there, I only saw the open door of the veranda.
I was overwhelmed with nervousness at the thought that they might have caught him, but it also subsided when I remembered that someone was secretly watching the
him.
But what if he isn't?
I have to find him, I will be fascinated when I leave him.
REIGN
I carefully opened my eyes, my body aches. Reason for me to go back to bed.
The smell of rose filled my nose.
Sandals? I don't remember of putting a vase of roses inside my room. I don't think katelyn will put some roses inside my room too?
When I finally realized the changes of things inside, I immediately woke up.
This isn't my room!
Dark blue is all the stuff and as I suspect there are roses in the vase that sits next to the side table. Its petals are starting to fall.
My foot landed on the cold floor as I tried to stand. My legs wobbled that made me fall and landed back on the bed.
I groaned, when suddenly the door cricked.
I heard foot steps walking towards me.
"Thank you and you're awake."
"What am I doing here, how did I end up ... in this place?"
"I heard your cry, I didn't want to interfere but, I can't just stand there hearing you crying in pain. So I took you to Zeus, and sent you here."
"You don't need to do this, this is my choice."
"I don't want to lose a sister-in-law."
"The contract just ended, your sister won't be able to marry me anymore, if we ever have that connection we'll both be vampires."
She smiled at me as she caress my face. My body twitched as I move away.
"Don't touch me selene, you know how I hate being touched." he just laughed and went to the window then pulled back the curtain, the sunlight hit my face.
"My brother visited last night, everyone was shocked to witnessed how good he is, even dad." This time she look at me.
"Everyone knew that you saved him."
"He said?"
"Nope, but everyone knows who can do that, a blood of his mate."
"You mean former mate?"
"silly." I got up because somehow I had little strength to act.
"I have a dress ready, put it on, it's far away if you go home you'll be late for class."
"By the way, who is Zeus?" I asked remembering what he said earlier.
"Our dearest cousin, you'll meet him soon, for now go inside the bathroom and take a bath, you'll be late, I'll prepare you a breakfast downstairs." She winked as she pushed me inside the bathroom and made her way outside the room.
I stared at the dress he put on my arm before pushing me in and that's how the marealize frowned at what kind of dress it was.
Short and black sleeveless shirt with gray cardigan.
Seriously?
I was blown away by the wind and started to take a bath and then got dressed I could hardly even look at my posture in front of the mirror and thats when I realize that my reflection is fading. Other people knew that vampires don't have shadows and reflection. But as far as I know they still have, it's just not as visible as people. One last glimpsed and I walk outside the room.
I was just going downstairs when I could smell Selene's breakfast cooking. Suddenly my stomach growled and I went down faster then went straight to the kitchen, I caught him serving.
"Oh you're done, here you go, I know you haven't eaten since last night."
I just nodded and sat down and then smelled the breakfast he cooked.
"Aren't you going to eat with me?"
"Nah I'm full dear, I'm okay with this." He raised in the air the glass with wine psrsng cheers me and sipped there as he leaned on the sink. I didn"t know he ignored me and hastened to eat.
"I'll be the first."
"No! I'll take you."
"What?"
"It's a long trip to your school. Your motor isn't here, so I'll take you lets go."
I did nothing but follow. As he said, that house was a bit far from the university I was attending and we arrived at e8.
When he parked his car, I immediately got out.
"I'm in, thank you."
"Welcome, if you need help, just call me. At least that's all I can do for you." I nodded as I turned my back.
"Wait!" I was suddenly stopped as he pulled me back.
I slowly looked at his hand holding my arm and he immediately released it.
"I'll just want to remind you, Van is back." I was slightly surprised by what she said, I look at her eyes only to see how serious it is and reminding. I seemed to be reminded when we met his brother again.
"Be careful Reign. I don't want to get you hurt in any kind of pain." I am in pain, and no one could ease it.
"I know what to do selene, don't worry." then I turned my back on him and walked quickly inside.
there are very few students I meet, and surprisingly they look at me in a strange way, I don't know if it's pity or what. But I ignored that.
I turn to where my department is suddenly blocked in my path.
She's with someone but she has my attention.
I just looked at him as if I wasn't interested in him.
But she smiled at me, smile not fake but crazy.
"shock?"
"Why would I?" I snorted.
"I don't know where you got your courage, but I remind you. I once took you out of my life and I can do it to you again."
"Okay? Are you done?" I look at my wrist watch and I'm so bored that I look back at him who looks like he's already frowning.
"B*tch! What do you think I'm going to be afraid of you? Huh? Hell no! I was just so surprised at how you came back but remember reign, I won't stop you like I did to you before." thrilled he said that he seemed to want to kick me, but I was not shaken and preferred to step closer to him.
