"Maybe that's one of a reason."
"Why? Is there anything else?"
"As I told you, it's not just that I'm coming here to reign, I'm not here for nothing." I frowned slightly again.

So he offer me job, he wants me to be his eyes to you, he wants me to protect and guard you from any harm. He wants me to secured your safety. That was all planned, I will rush in the rain and pretend that there is nowhere to run. If you didn't offer me a job I would have applied to you according to the plan but you made it easy for me because you insisted on offering me a job. It was easy. me to work for him without anyone noticing because no one else knows that sage and I will meet but the two of us. Even his family didn't know they didn't know me either because ... my family never introduced me. There's a strange emotion formed inside my chest, painful yet grueling.
I felt so drained, I can't find words to say. Damn, all this time Sage is ....... protecting me?
"I didn't tell you because sage told me not to. He wants to keep what you think of him so he can take you away more easily. He wants you away from him so you could still be unknown and safe."
"But didn't he think that bringing you closer to me was also a way for them to know that I was what they were looking for ?!" he suddenly fell silent.
"He won't think its you, like I said no one else knows I'm working with sage to protect you." But that's not reason enough, I know those wolves aren't that stupid to not be noticed.
"I'm sorry reign, maybe I lied the way that I am secretly in charge to protect you but betrayal isn't my thing, I am not a traitor. I won't ever do that to you. Because when I did that it's as if I have betrayed the prince of the family where my family works. " I faced him again and gave him a look then quickly disappeared in front of him.
I locked my room and stayed silent for hours.
My mind was trying to absorb everything I found out from katelyn.
and I felt couple of tears streamed down on my face as I shut my eyes in too much emotion I am feeling.

I slowly got out of bed, I know I am now late for my first class but I seem to have used up all my strength. I acted slowly and it was as if I just wanted to be here all day.
After my shower I only wore black ripped jeans and a loose gray t-shirt, I put my bonnet on and my black hoodie jacket as I wear my white rubber shoes. I slowly closed the curtain and went out of the room grabbing my bag and clutching the key but I was annoyed when I remembered that I had left my cellphone under the pillow.
When I got that I hurried down despite my weakening body.
The whole house was quiet, I made sure katelyn went to the cafe first to open, maybe she knew I couldn't do that anymore because I locked myself in the room all night.
I went through the kitchen and saw there was a sandwich and juice on the table. There was a note on the side then that I just hovered over looking and quickly drank the juice and bit into the sandwich then quickly walked out.
I immediately boarded my ducati and drove quickly to school.
After parking I just slowly made the walk in and regardless of the time.
I didn"t feel like attending class today, I went straight to the cafeteria and ordered food.
The whole café was quiet, and there were few students, at least the class was in full swing.
I sat in the corner next to the glass wall where the field was in full view.
I started eating when I heard loud talk and laughter.
Its crisanta's flirty voice. It's funny to think that he has lost a friend but when he acts like he just doesn't exist. I won't be surprised that he was able to kill, if he was his own bestfriend, he didn't fight.
I heard the sound of
chimes on the caf door, a sign that it opened and someone entered. I didn't look back because I wasn't interested in seeing him when I felt the presence of someone behind me.
I felt someone tap with my back and I violently addressed you.
"Good morning Reign! Isn't this a good morning? As good as I am?" and then they laughed.
I ignored him and resumed my meal and after that I decided to get up to leave but I stopped to see the person entering the caf.
Still wearing that devilish aura and his deep, commanding, cold gray eyes.
Confidently walking like he owns the world but still he doesn't care.
I felt a sudden change in my expression, I wanted to speak, to walk towards him and ask. But then I remembered how I gate crsshed on his own house and accused him.
I step back upon realizing it.
But I was more surprised by what I saw.
Crisan looked at him with this flirty seductive smile on her lips as she made her way towards Sage and kissed him fully on his lips.
I felt bitter when I looked at the two of them, especially when the sage didn't push him.
He lightly caressed the sage's chest and smilingly pulled it towards the counter and suddenly his eyes drifted on me. He just looked at me as if he didn't know me and averted his eyes and then hugged his hand to crisan's waist which he was thrilled with.
I just looked away after I saw that act. I hurried out of the cafeteria without looking back.
I was holding onto my chest when I felt a strange pain. I felt this sudden emotion that I can't name. And I don"t like that.
I walked even faster when I ran into someone.
"Riley! Glad I already found you!" I looked at it and saw the green eyes again once it caught my attention.
"Z-zeus." I moved slightly away from him and stared at his smiling face.
"One and only." smiling she said but it suddenly disappeared and was replaced by concern.
"You're too pale, I know we're really pale but ---- are you worse? Are you okay?" I just nodded and instead asked him to take the conversation away from me.
"What are you doing here?"
"I am going to study here." again his face became lively.
"A-what?"
"Why don't you?"
I just shook my head and averted my eyes.
"I'm going to find katelyn, nice to see you again."
"Huh? Ah- Okay!"
I hurriedly walked away from him I even heard him shout Bye but I didn't look back.
Arriving in the room, my eyes immediately searched for katelyn but I could not reach her. I decided to go through the library first to pass the time.
When I was busy on reading, someone sit infront of me. I smell her scent and I hate it.
"Why are you here, Arden?" I know he was surprised when I recognized who he was when I wasn"t looking.
"Wow, you recognize me without even looking? Nice!"
"Your scent says its you."
"Amazing! You know what I am starting to love you Reign! You're weird."
"Its not love its called interest."
"But interest can turn into passion." She stated. I slowly closed my book and looked at him.
"People are usually like that, you know that you found something strange, because that strange thing is that you want to know everything about him. And when you find out? It's gone and you're going to throw that thing away, eventually Interest fades. " I got up and started walking away.
"I don't want to be a subject that you wanted to play with, Shenlo Arden." I chase and quickly leave the library. I don't like the way she look at me. Katelyn is better than her. More real and transparent unlike that arden, it smells of forgery.
I was planning to go home when I passed a group. My head heated even more when I met one of them.
I think they would have passed the person I wanted to kill right now.
"It's just fun to be sage's girlfriend isn't it? The one he hugs, the one he kisses? Oh god feels so heaven."
I immediately turned to him and he was smiling at me.
"What did you tell me before? He'll never leave you that he's yours? Well let me tell you this, he's mine now he chooses me over you, and he just dare to leave you isn't that cool?"
"What are you up to? To brag around me about how you flirt with him? Ah, yeah I know. Don't need to tell me about it."
"huh! do you still have the urge to brag jan ?! you said you're really a loser so I'm leaving you, you're a loser Reign, so I won't be surprised if dad --- ack too!" I choked her quickly without any difficulty, she's struggling to be free but I just tightened my grip on her, her dogs tried to save her from me but they couldn't handle me.
"L-let m-me go!"
"Say it all! Claim it all! But don't ever call my daddy daddy! Because you've never been a brother! One more word from you calling him dad and I'll rip your head off!" I shouted in his face.
"Guys call Sage! We need his help! He might kill Cris!"
I ignored what they were saying and threw Crisan loudly at the other wall, the force was very audible and I could see the blood dripping from his nose and mouth, I quickly approached him and violently pulled him to lift his face forward mine.
"A-aray! B-let me go!"
She groaned in pain.
"Don't waste my patience Crisanta, thank you and I'm still patient to see you even though I want to kill you every time we meet. Remember any time I can do that to you, I'll just remind you, I'm not the one reign that you know. So if you don't want to die like me 3 years ago, learn to keep quiet! if you don't want me to keep you quiet! "
"Let go of her." I stiffened at that voice and slowly faced him, he was staring at me intently.
"Sage ..."
"Let go of her." He commanded me more forcefully again.
I slowly let go of crisan and stood up, I was about to speak when he walked quickly towards crisanta.
I would have approached him to see how he would lift it and walk away. Again I felt something in my chest and I suddenly fainted. I wish I had nothing but to lean on the wall to gain strength because suddenly I also realized that my vision was blurred.
I tried to walk, but I end up on the floor struggling to breath.
I felt footsteps approaching me but it was too late for me to see who it was because I already passed out.
I groaned as I opened my eyes, how many more times should I wake up just after a crazy nightmare?
My eyes widened but I did not intend to move my body. My sleep doesn"t seem to change the pain and weakness I felt, it feels so permanent. A kind of an infinite punishing pain.
There is no end, there is no end, and the only thing that will disappear is that I can also disappear.
Funny to think that I was given a chance to live again. But still end up suffering and the fvcking consequences made me struggle to breath. I felt like I'm dying but I'm not. Am I cursed? I just laughed at that thought.
"I hope, your pain doesn't make you to be a psycho?" That sour voice echoed that I knew who.
"Selene, you again ..."
"Zeus saw everything, even before he could get close you lost consciousness." He looked at me seriously and took a step closer.
"My brother is hurting you."
"What do you mean?"
"I don't know, do you know that part of the contract is not having a relationship with others? Or just flirting."
"But the contract is--

"Absolutely." I laughed bitterly, what I found out seemed like a big blow to me. Is there no end to this? almost every day I think I know something that almost drives me crazy.
"Reign, I'm sorry if..you're experiencing this,"

"Even though I may be losing all of this, I still don't regret living again," Because I also really wanted to live longer.
"I can't be with you here now, I'm also leaving because I'm taking care of something, I just really visited you." I turned to him and he was already looking at his phone. He also turned to me and looked at me seriously.
"This is house of zeus by the way, he's just downstairs. He'll take care of you." I just nodded and turned my back on him and then looked out the window. I just heard the opening and closing of the door sign to leave. that he was and I was left alone. I took a deep breath as I shut my eyes.
When I was younger I already heard about vampires, that they are real, that they are living somewhere far from human world.
I didn't even know that they are living normally with humans. I always believe that vampires are those kind of aristocratic vampire with an empire of victims to suck blood from. Who had no use for personal reflection and so in the mirror they saw none. Based on what I've read from the book mom gave
me vampires' life purpose was empty of all but greed, domination and lust.Were they to see the most perfect of roses, they would only find purpose in the thorns. They are monsters who no longer cared what people looked lie, it was their aroma that counted.
And that was all changed when I met the real one, and what's fun on it was, I, the kid who used to believe in vampires with a shallow ideas about them, becomes a vampire too. Since that day I was turned into one, I have done nothing but run the truth and think everything is still normal when I knew things aren't the same anymore, no matter how hard I tried to make it one. In the few years of being like them, I haven"t been able to focus on it all. I didn"t pay much attention to the difference between the vampire I knew and the vampire I now belong to.
Maybe it"s hard to be human, but now I"ve realized it"s harder to be a creature that everyone knows just exists in the story. Be a vampire. I soon learned that the limitations of vampires were fables put about by their own kind. They were no more afraid of garlic, crucifixes than cupcakes with extra frosting. They were particularly proud of wooden stake rumor since they made good kindling for the fires. Maybe what just turned out was blood lust. It really gets to the point where we need to drink human blood, to remain strong and to prolong our lives. We have also our shadows and reflections. Unlike normal people, we still have one. Those story about us is just all about our ancestors. Selene told me about that, right before I found out that I am already like them.
