"Can I have your silence please to finally welcome our birthday celebrant?" everyone immediately followed and forgot about the engagement party first. I can't forget that, why didn't anyone tell me now that they will introduce me to the whole clan of vampires? I just couldn't prepare.
"Thank you. And now let us welcome the one and only princess of frost family the most influential and powerful family of this clan, Princess Selene Savina Frost!" After saying that selene immediately appeared upstairs and looked at us. She was wearing a pink gown, bigger, longer and more open than Katelyn and I were wearing, she really looks like a princess. He stared at me, and I don't know what it is that his eyes are telling me.
After a few seconds of staring at me he turned around and entered somewhere. "Welcome to the Lady Reign clan, I'm Nancy Caitrine Ashley." The mention of that last name immediately caught my eye.
"You're an ashley?"
"The first born ashley."
"You're Katelyn's older sister then." He nodded slowly and smiled.
"May I know why you know my sister? Did she do something that might upset you?"
"She's a good friend Of mine and she's working for me."
"I see, it's good and he's learned." He even smiled slightly as if he was pleased to hear that I was frowning.

It stared at me again as if studying my actions. I was still a bit stunned but also recovered quickly because of selene pulling me.
Arriving at the top he led me next to the sage and facing me in front all the eyes of the vampires present were on me.
It gives too much pressure on me, knowing that they might start criticizing me inside their heads. That thought disappeared when I felt the sage's hand grip my hand tightly.
"You look so tensed, relax mcdemort they won't eat you."

"Good evening everyone and thank you very much for being here with me to celebrate my birthday, arrgh I'm getting really older, but its okay I'm still gorgeous right?" Everyone laughed at what he said which somehow helped to reduce the pressure I was feeling.

My forehead furrowed as I stared at him, it looked like he would just arrive before we drank the wine. He even slightly nodded at me and raised the wine as if cheering me on. I showed no emotion to her, I was left thinking of who she is and why do I feel like she's a threat to me even though I don't know her and she looks harmless, In fact she looks more feminine and graceful than me. But the feeling that his presence brought to me was really different.
I felt the sage's grip tighten on my hand. And when I looked at him he was looking straight in one direction and when I followed that I was suddenly shocked to see that they were staring at the woman I was looking at earlier.
I firmly closed my mouth and lowered the wine glass that was now empty, I lowered my gaze and moved my hand, which I knew Sage had noticed, When I looked up at him, he was now staring at me with his eyes asking .
I slightly withdrew my hand which caused him to loosen his grip on it and when I felt it was no longer that tight it was quick and I seemed to be burning to let go of his grip. No one noticed then because everyone was busy talking and others were dancing in the middle. I looked around and it hit the king again without changing the way he looked at me. I just slightly bowed to her and went down and then looked for Katelyn who I don't know where zeus touched.
Even before I could get away, someone pulled my arm.
"What's wrong with you?" I frowned at him.
"Nothing, I am looking for Katelyn."
"She's with zeus, so you should stay with me."

"No buts Mcdemort." He holds my hand tightly and pulls me towards the crowd he keeps on introducing me and I keep on hearing their praises. Tss I hate this.
"Hey Sage and reign? Congrats to both of you, you're the perfect match" She's the girl earlier I hovered over her gown.
"Luna, y-you came." Unbelievable Sage said with a lil bit uncertainy to his voice.
"Of course! I need to witness this one! Am I still? I'm going to give up? And ... You're really undeniably Goddess, no wonder, it looks like I didn't make a mistake with the gown I chose for you! Told you sage, that's a good thing to him it is. " She pointed out on my gown.
"So you're the one who choose this? Good choice ... thank you." I tried to hide the bitterness in my voice.
"Welcome, so ahm I'm Luna Jalorine Morgan By the way." She extended her hand infront of me I stared at it.
"Reign" was my simple answer and did not accept his hand.
"I bet you two need to talk alone, I just have to find my friend, nice to meet you Luna Jalorine Morgan." And as I look at sage, he was looking at me in surprise but I only slightly bowed to him and hurriedly left them both there.
I tried to forget how I felt while talking to that space, but then I couldn't change the seemingly broken thing inside me. And I don"t like it, I don"t want to admit it, because I don"t know if it"s okay for me to just let this feeling go. While someone became a big question in my mind.
Who the hell are you Luna?
I looked for katelyn but I couldn't really find her, where was that and I couldn't even find Zeus. Selene is busy talking, I don't want to approach her to socialize with others.
In the middle of searching, someone tapped my shoulder.
"Can we dance?" Its face is serious and there is no trace of any foolish or annoying look and grin.
"I'm not in a mood."

He pulled me closer and placed my two hands on his shoulders while his two hands wrapped around my waist, my heartbeat quickened when I felt the heat of his palms on my revealed back. Shit! Why did I agree to be in our situation? It wasn't the demon that I am dancing with but I was actually dancing with the devil.
"You're really beautiful." He whispered enough for me to hear it, I could feel his breath hitting my face which was raised by my feathers.
"Stop with your flowery words, Hage. What are you really up to?" I hissed almost whispering. Yhe music is so slow, heart touching and sweet, its not fvcking suited for us.
"Nothing, I just really want to dance with you. Isn't that bad?"

"If you don't want this why are you here with me dancing?" He grinned at me as I looked at him. How lowered down his face and stares directly at my eyes.
"Just go with the flow reign, I'm playing cupid here, just thank me." And he kissed my cheek that made me froze for a minute.
What the heck? What if someone saw us !? I simply looked around and noticed that everyone was busy with what they were doing to him so I took a deep breath and looked at Hage badly, he just laughed a little annoyingly. I really can't read this guy, sometimes I can sense danger from him like he will harm me anytime and then next, he will just keep annoying the hell out of me.
"So what do you think about the girl, sage is dancing with.".
"Beautiful"
"They're a match."

"Let me go." he stopped pulling me and turned to me violently before he even shouted at me, someone was immersed in the scene again and I just smiled at him, I pulled my hand away from him and folded in my chest toping my skin while looking intently at him.
"You'd better entertain your guest and stop ruining my night."
"Sage! You have to go here, ah can you help me to- Ow! I think I'm bothering you."

I felt very annoyed so instead of continuing the search for katelyn I chose to leave the mansion. I sat at the bar counter and he went inside then mixed liquor and handed it to me, I quickly accepted it and swallowed in amazement on his face.
The undescribable taste left on my throat, bitter, woody, minty, cold yet tasteless.
"Brave, no wonder."
"Shut up and just give me more Devil." He took a few bottles and put them on the ledge and then went out and stood beside me with a glass.
"I didn't know you drink a lot."
"Well now you know."
"I think, sage is the reason why?"
"Tss. Shut up and just drink with me, quit being nosy."
"Why did you do that to me?" I knew he knew what I meant.
"To confirm something" was his simple answer.
"And what is it?"
"Nothing Lady, you don't have to know."
"You dare to harm me and yet I don't have to know? You're impossible!" I scoffed then quickly swallowed my fiancé handicap.
"Men are greedy for alcohol, don't you want a chaser?"
"No need, just fvcking tell me about it! Don't take the topic away."

"I don't want to look stupid." He was silent at what I said, I just kept drinking and so was he who seemed to be deep in thought. I felt my phone vibrate one after another but I just turned it off and didn't waste any more time finding out who it was. I noticed that Hage was already holding his phone and it looked like someone was talking to him because he was typing fast but I just let it go and finally ate the contents of one and started drinking from the other. I wasted no time in putting that in the glass. The two bottles multiplied even more until I felt dizzy and seems like the world is swaying, something becomes two already in my sight and my eyelids seem to get heavier.
"Hey you're drunk, you've almost used up all my stock of it"
"I'll pay you don't worry just shut up!"
"Tss! We're all drunk and we're all naughty."
"I can clearly hear you fvcker."

"Err shut up hage I want to sleep where's your room!"

I started walking while looking at my path when I suddenly bumped into the wall, I lost my balance and expecting to fall flatly on the floor when the wall wrapped his arms around my waist. Maybe I'm drunk, when else did the wall have a hand and an arm ?! my eyes widened I looked up and was amused to see the face of the person I didn't want to see.
"H-hey! Sage! How did you get here ?!" I touch his face and hug him tight.

"What got into your neck and made you drunk !? I've been searching for you!"
"Can we sleep I'm so sleepy, oh god sage the world is going to be ruined!" I cried and clung to his neck, I felt his hand wrapped around my waist as he took a deeo breath.
"You're so fvcking impossible woman, you made me worried you'll pay for this."
"Bring her home sage, her fiance's headache is yours."
"Tss, why did you still agree!"
"I just want to help her."
