Chapter 38

Slowly his eyes opened and I once again saw the color of his eyes that I wanted to stare at even though I was not comfortable with the way he looked. Those ash gray eyes.

I just waited for him to finish, after that he was dressed in black ns jogger pants and white shirt while wiping his hair.

"I have no clothes." She stopped wiping her hair and approached a closet she took there a blue tshirt and cycling shorts.
"I don't have undies here for girls so." he shrugged as he handed me the dress.
"Okay maybe don't wear that underwear first."
"What else can I do?" I took that and entered the Cr where I started to take a bath and get dressed. When I came out, he was no longer in the room so I went down to go to the kitchen because I knew he was already there and I wasn't wrong.
We just ate breakfast after and we only spent a few hours there we also decided to go home. According to him, his assistant called him for a meeting so we didn't stay there long. I, on the other hand, dressed in linen at his house and went straight to the café. Katelyn ask me too many questions about what happened but I just answered few of it. I can't even admit to him that I said I love you and I even cried to sage, tss. No thanks. That's just me.

"All right I'll follow." One of my staff came out immediately so I immediately stood up and closed my laptop then went out of the office and looked for what my staff was saying earlier and I only saw a familiar face.
He was just leaning back in the chair with it folded and staring at the floor but seemed to be deep in thought.
"What are you doing here? I am busy, if you don't have a clear purpose just leave." I opened up to him before I could sit down.
"Reign please, listen to me this time. Leave him. Before the point comes you will be the one they will drive away."
"Shenlo, please too, but I won't listen to you, okay? We'll fix everything, we're getting married soon. Don't bother anymore."
"I'm just protecting you don't you see that?" There were tears in his eyes and he immediately stood up and you quickly wiped them away.
"I understand, you love him. I feel you, that's why you can't leave him. But please if the time comes for you to know something, just call me, I will come to accompany and explain to you." after she said that she wiped away her tears again and hurried out of the café.

I lost my appetite for work so I chose to go to the balcony and spend time there with the thought of the darkness that katelyn and I would go home at the same time. For some unknown reason I decided to call him but it was off so I fell on my shoulder and entered the house and then went upstairs.
We probably talked last night and I said that no matter what happens, I will trust and trust him, but I still can't get things out of my mind, especially since I've talked to Shenlo before.
I stayed in the room and took a shower then got dressed before deciding to go downstairs to cook.

I avoided a few more branches that I was about to hit, it was well known that I was not an ordinary person, because by chance I had been lying here before. The sound of thunder and lightnings are so terrifying that made me want to step back, but it's more important for me to find Sage because I haven't had a good feeling before. When I got away from that place near the woods I became faster. I even used my ability to move around the place, even when it was wet, I didn't do it. "Master I like the smell of his blood."

Before I could continue thinking, he quickly grabbed my clothes and lifted me into the air and then quickly threw me to the ground. I once again screamed, I forced myself to get up but he quickly slapped me on the back which made me moan even more.
Tears fell from my eyes.
When I felt him step on that part that he injured I cried more in pain, the other guy held my hands tightly as the other one pulled my hair, and was about to twist my head when I managed to call for his name hoping that he would find me.
"Saaaaage!" my shout was accompanied by loud thunder and lightning. Because my shout seemed to upset the two, I took that opportunity to fight them and ran away, I still did it until I did not expect what hit my foot that caused me to fall to the ground.
I could feel their quick footsteps approaching me, I cried as I tried to stand again, but my legs forbid me to.
But before they could get close to me, a figure intercepted and protected me.
He was breathing heavily, facing those two vampires, afraid to step forward and trying to calculate the situation. The so -called 'Master' tried to attack him but he's stronger than them so he knocked him down easily, even though he was scared, the other one rushed here but like before he didn't do anything when he quickly threw him on the floor. He quickly approached one and quickly slapped it several times with his long nails and then he mercilessly buried his hand in its chest st quickly pulled it back as well.
Fear crept into my chest as I watch him do things I never expected that he can do. I know that he's a heartless, but I didn't expect him to bring anything more, he doesn't seem to care what he does. He's right when he said he can kill without mercy.
I saw the fear on the face of the remaining vampire who attacked me, even though it was not able to run, the sage grabbed him and quickly wounded his neck, blood ooze out of his neck, he smelled it but he seemed to smell it so he quickly broke it with no difficulty and stoned it as if it were something of no use.
I saw how his bloody eyes become intense as he looked up straight to the sky and shouted as if furious then quickly turned to me. The expression on his face did not change, the scary, dangerous kind of face that you will never want to see.
I curled my body afraid that he might harm me, he slowly approached me which made me more nervous. He kneeled infront of me and when I saw that he was going to slap me with his hand with his long nails still there, I immediately closed my eyes and sobbed.
I waited for the pain it may have caused me. But I felt nothing and when I opened my eyes.
He was just staring at me, his hand left in the air.
Confusion filled his eyes, seemingly recognizing me. I cried all the time and hugged him, regardless of what I had heard before because at these times he was the only one I could cling to to stay alive and safe. If he hadn't come I might have been lifeless here before. Once again he saved my life. He saved me, even if I was hurt before he came, the fact that he still saved me cannot be changed.
"Sage its me, its me reign ... a-ako to ..., lets go home please .... lets go home." it wasn't long before I felt his hands hug my back and caress my hair.
"I ... I w-was scared ... you scared me ... The loud thunder and lightning that gave me the light to see him were still there. I didn"t move, I remained lying down because of the soldering I felt, because of the wounds I had sustained from before and everything that had happened.
"I thought, that will be my end." He looked at me slowly, with tears in his eyes that surprised me. He laid beside me and hugged me so tight, he buried his head in my neck, as I felt his warm breath against my skin.
"You don't know how scared I am when I heard your scream,"
I sensed pain on his cracked voice.
"I'm sorry," I said as I bit myseft.
"For the first time in my life I felt so scared, you made me feel it reign." My eyes dimmed when I heard that from him.
"Sage."
"For the second time, I thought I was going to lose you and earlier I thought that, that you're really going to be gone forever, that I can't do anything."
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to risk my life."
"No ... I'm sorry ... It was all my fault."
"This time its mine, I've been careless." he left hugging me and got up, he looked at me as he bit his wrist and offered it to me.
"Drink it, you're in pain."

And he walked towards his closet, when he came back he was already carrying clothes, he stepped on the bed again and gently dressed me, I feel like my face burned but you immediately disappeared when I saw he was serious about what he was doing, even though he had seen everything to me then I still feel ashamed now so I don't look at him too much. When he finished, he laid me down again and hugged me, then quickly kissed me on the lips and entered Cr.
I was so tired that I can't wait any longer for him, I already felt the heaviness of my eyelids until it gradually closed, I still heard the bathroom's door cricked before I was drawn into nothingness.
