11 - Hundreds Of Women

Abhaya just stood there staring at them. She shrugged her shoulder, she doesn't care if they will sex in front of her. Tonight, her top priority is his safety above all else.

"Your beauty robbed me of my sanity, Ms. Trunt."

She shifted his gaze to the speaker. This is Zerus, the man she met the day before. She held two glasses of wine and handed one to her. She accepted it with a smile. So, why not?

"Nice to see you here, Zerus," she said as she sipped her red wine. Not too shabby. She enjoyed the flavor.

He looked at her as if he had just encountered a goddess. The woman was already clinging to Hudson's arm out of the corner of her eye. She doesn't care; she's talking to Zerus, and she'd rather talk to him than Hudson.

"I wouldn't let someone like you go if I were Doctor Hayes. He didn't realize how lovely you were now. Your beauty deserved to be crowned with love and attention."

She shook her head, "I'm drowning in your compliments," she laughed.

"Hudson was staring at you like she was going to eat you alive," Jacky's voice over the phone said, followed by a soft laugh. "Also, he went upstairs with her woman."

Her mind began to work overtime. She tenderly told Zerus that she needed to use the restroom. He simply smiled and nodded. When she met Azael and Theon on the way, she hurried to follow as Jacky told her which direction Hudson was going. She was attempting to avoid Theon when he suddenly blocked her path and winked.

"Abhaya?" Azael had been staring at her for an a while.

"I'm Kianna Trunt," she said as she quickly shook Theon's hand and walked away.

"That woman is a scumbag! It's my birthday, but she treats me like a snob!"

She heard Theon say it, but all she did was roll her eyes.

At that moment, Abhaya wanted to punch Hudson. She peered into almost every room she passed to see if anyone was lying or juggling in bed. If she actually sees Hudson, he'll get a crunchy kick out of her! It causes her undue stress. Hudson was aware that it was dangerous and that she should accompany him wherever he went.

She came to the top deck while walking and searching for it. She was taken aback and smiled slightly. Nice! There is a large swimming pool, as well as a playground and a gymnasium.

As the cold, strong sea breeze greeted her, she embraced herself. The cruise ship was far from civilization, and she had lost sight of the man's search for a moment. She was the only one present, and she felt a brief silence.

She came up to the railings and stood there. She smiled as she looked up at the many stars in the sky from where she was. For a brief moment, she closed her eyes and let the wind carry her away. She sensed silence in some way.

"What brings you here?"

She was preoccupied. She noticed Hudson staring at her as if she were an angel about to vanish. His hands were in his pockets, and Abhaya admits he looked very dashing in his tux tonight. She had forgotten she was looking for it for a while because she was so taken with how she felt as she felt the cold breeze. At times, she forgot she was Kianna and not Abhaya. As long as she stared at Hudson, no words came out of her mouth.

"Are you finished with Zerus Craige?" he sneered.

She did not respond. She shifted her gaze to the sea. Slowly, she felt the pain she had long buried and forgotten, but before she betrayed herself, she moved away from the railings and stepped back below where the party was being held.

"Abhaya," he begins. She was stopped by a hand.

Hudson was slapped across the face and she pulled her hand away. "You always called me that name. Whoever she is, I am not her."

He was taken aback and scratched the cheek she'd slapped. His white cheek turned red right away, so she knew its hurt. She smirked and was about to slap him again because he had suddenly vanished and left without her earlier when they were shot.

"Fuck!"

Merde!

Someone shot them, striking the man in the shoulder. She quickly drew the gun from her thigh and dragged Hudson... But she was the one who dragged Hudson to safety. She took a careful look around.

"Someone is trying to assassinated Doctor Hayes. Find this shooter right now!" she yelled to Jacky on the other end of the line through the spy microphone pendant on her necklace. She didn't care that Hudson was staring at her, and it didn't seem to matter what happened. It just stood there staring at her, as if he remembered something. As his shoulder continued to bleed, he fixed his gaze on her. Hudson looked at her, amused, with a subdued smile on his lips.

"It's all right now, Kianna, relax."

"No, it isn't!"

"If the killer's intention is to kill me, I should be dead right now," he sighed.

He has a point. Perhaps it was just a warning shot, and whoever fired it had no intention of killing the young Doctor right away. No, no, no! That explanation would not be acceptable to her. There were no warning shots fired for her! She should protect Hudson since he was under her protection.

She took a look at his swollen shoulder. She lowered the handgun and took Hudson's necktie off without saying anything. He was taken aback by what she did at first, but when he realized what she was about to do, he didn't move. The man simply let her do what she wanted. She wrapped the necktie around her injured shoulder quickly. She had to put a stop to the bleeding.

THAT morning, Abhaya sat on the couch in front of Hudson. When the Cruise landed back at the port, the party had ended and they had left without saying goodbye to the birthday celebrant. She drove the car to the mansion and now? They are in Makati. The main Hospital of Hayes. Hudson acted as if nothing had happened, and it worked the rest of the day.

Abhaya received no information from Jacky. It's just irritating to think that their opponent is too cunning. They haven't gotten a lead or a hint as to who is really behind it all up until now.

“No. Don't come here, fuckers, I'm too busy!" Hudson said and drop the call.

But then the door burst open, and his friends, Azael, Cuhen, and Zyd Caiden, who she recognized, walked in. Cuhen was surprised to see her, but he didn't say anything. It was simply staring at her.

“Fuck! I told you I was busy," Hudson grumbled.

"And we don't give a damn." Azael laughed as he sat on the lone couch.

"I assumed you were dead. Whoever shot you is a fucking wimp." Cuhen said. She's not sure if he's joking or serious. "When else will we be able to have coffee at your funeral?"

Cuhen's words made her laugh in private. She, too, couldn't wait for Satan to kill Hudson one day.

"We're only here to see you if you're still alive, dude!" Zyd Caiden grinned as he sat down next to her but still a long distance away. He's a Canadian.

"I apologize for disappointing you all." Hudson laughed, "I'm still alive because I'm an immortal Greek God." They all laughing like a lunatic.

For a brief moment, Abhaya felt awkward, but she pretended they didn't exist. Even though it's the first time she's seen Hudson laugh, it's awkward. She shrugged and went back to reading the magazine. When Cuhen spoke, she was already a few pages away from the magazine she was reading.

"You never told us you'd found her. You've been looking for Ms. Sahada for over two years as well.”

Her lips twitched unexpectedly. What's going on? Hudson was looking for her? She was taken aback and pretended not to hear. She sat artistically and continued reading the magazine. Her mind began to churn with questions. What made the Doctor go looking for her? She has no arrears here and has never been in debt, as far as she knows.

"And she's the reason this crazy friend of ours is afraid of fast cars. Pfffff!” Zyd chuckled. "However, we're relieved that you found her."

She took a step back. Why didn't she like the way they were talking now? Should she know something, or should she just ignore what they're saying? She noticed Hudson was just staring at her out of the corner of her eye, and she had no idea what was going through the young doctor's mind.

"Her name is Kianna Trunt, and she's my personal assistant. She's not Abhaya, and we're not going to talk about her."

They squealed and ohh'd at the same time as they looked at her.

"We had no idea Ms. Sahada's beauty was so common." Cuhen expressed his 'disbelief' once more.

"And to think you nearly turned the world upside down trying to find her," Azael, who Abhaya was aware was staring at her at the time, said. She cast a sly glance at Hudson.

"We thought you'd finally found your missing happiness," Zyd's chuckled.

She bit her lower lip in private. She does not wish to hear everything they have to say. She abruptly stood up and excused herself to use the restroom. She doesn't want to listen, and perhaps something will enter her mind. Everyone's gaze was drawn to her, but she ignored it. Her focus has shifted too much to the new her.

Abhaya examined herself in the mirror. Really? What is the man's motivation for looking for her? Even if she clenches her teeth, she sees no reason for him to look for her. She leaned against a pillar for a few moments, listening to what her friends were saying. It wasn't too loud, but it was enough for her to hear each other's voices.

"Would you like me to investigate the truth behind her?"

When she heard Cuhen's voice, she chuckle. Really? Okay, as far as they can go. Yx deleted all of her previous data. There is no record of her in any database.

"Don't," Hudson replied, "I know the most about the cyber world of all of us."

She continued to laugh softly in response to the young man's response. Okay, it's good, but Yx can compete with him. Yx is also goddamn good!

"Well, I just offered you my assistance."

"There's no need; I'll handle it."

Handle? She can't blame the young Doctor, but she knows Yx will keep her true identity hidden. Other than Yx, there is no information that will lead Hudson.

"Asshole, come on! We're aware that you're still looking for her. We're not sure if you love her or not, but you don't have a heart. You're just another— jerk!" At the same time, Azael and Zyd burst out laughing.

"Talking about fucking, how's your sex life, dude?"

Abhaya rolled her eyes at the sex life talk. Boys' natural aversion to sex. How many women did the Hudson sex before she vanished? Maybe it doesn't count. It appears to be hundreds of women.
