28 - Chance
ABHAYA awoke to the sounds of her surroundings, and when she opened her eyes, she saw the Greek gods in front of her. Cuhen Malcogn was the first person she saw, followed by Azael Aadi Legrand, Zyd Caiden McCluskey, and Yx.
She was startled awake from her sleep and immediately raised her hand in the air, as if preparing to fight. What exactly is Yx doing here? Wait...
"Hey, Abhaya, calm down!" Azael laughed. He's on his four-legged and chillaxing on the sofa.
"Yx, what are you doing here?! Are you here to kill me?" she asked, unafraid.
Everyone turned to look at Farhistt, whose eyes widened at the sight. Even if she were in this position, she would not stop him from killing her now. Even though she was unconscious, she recalls him using her on Hudson.
"Yx?" They have a concurrent question.
"Come on, come on. I guess Kienne and I should talk privately."
"No!" She interrupt.
"Explain this to me, Farhistt. Who is Yx, and why did Abhaya say you were going to murder her?" Cuhen inquired calmly. While leaning against the wall. His looks is deadly.
As he approached her, the man sighed several times and smiled. "Yes, Yx and I are one."
"Mother fucker, holy shit!" they both depreciate at the same time.
Zyd choked on the eating apple and immediately reached for and drank water. Azael stood up quickly and nearly fell off the seat. Cuhen shook her head in disbelief at what Farhistt had said.
"What the hell did you do?" Cuhen, who couldn't help but become enraged.
"You betrayed me. You used me to murder Hudson!" she yelled angrily. "You think I'm stupid?! That night before you sent me to Theon, I heard you. You used me to satisfy your own desires!"
The three men charged at Yx, punching him repeatedly. "You're a moron, man! We have faith in you!" Cuhen gave a powerful blow.
"It's for Hudson!" Zyd exclaimed.
"And this for using Abhaya!" Azael was about to attack when she was abruptly stopped because the man did not even respond to what they did.
Farhistt just smiled, as if he expected it to happen. "At the very least, listen to me before you beat me, don't you?" His nose was bleeding and he had a black eye. "However, who punched me in the eye?"
They move around and point at each other like children at the same time. "It's Cuhen, he used his left fist, so you have a black eye on your left eye as well," Zyd responded quickly.
"Why should me? It's Azael. I punched the right eye, not the left," Cuhen defended.
"Zyd is capable! Because if I punched him there, he'd be blind now."
"It isn't me!"
They press for an answer. Abhaya rolled her eyes and quickly placed a palm on her face. Seriously? She's not sure if they're serious, or if Yx is on the same side or not really an enemy. Perhaps she, too, requires his explanation, as stated. If he was truly an enemy, shouldn't she be dead by now? The mess. She was already perplexed by what was going on. Her brain, she believes, will be destroyed of too much confusion!
"Now tell me the whole truth, Yx. Everything. There is nothing missing or extraneous. I want the whole truth," she said solemnly.
Everyone turned to look at her and Farhistt when they stopped pointing at each other. They reluctantly lifted the man up and seated Yx butin the empty seat next to her. She appeared to want to laugh unknowingly, but because she was serious about finding out the truth, she couldn't help but laugh at Yx's pitiful expression.
"Herrence's buddy should be here." Cuhen examined the watch he was wearing.
"So he's the one who beat up Farhistt here," Zyd chuckled.
"I explained my side, spare me," its feeble response as it applied its own bruise to the icebag's face. "Do you look excited about beating my handsome face?"
As she watched them, Abhaya laughed. Yx explained, but not completely. That was just a summary, and she was still perplexed, but what she saw was that Yx was not her adversary. If that's the case, who's behind it all? Who should be trusted and who should not?
"There's something even more exciting there…" Azael joked as he tossed alcohol at Farhist.
"That's it, I'm tired of you asshole" Yx abruptly rose to his feet and challenged Azael to a fistfight.
Cuhen and Zyd cheered together in the back. Zyd even raised a banner with his t-shirt and waved in the air at the same time. "Welcome to rumbleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! The left side was a hideous monkey, and the right side was a hideous hippo. Team B vs. Team J!"
"What's the deal with Team B and J? What's the point of that?" Cuhen's ask.
"It's Team Blow and Team Job, in a nutshell."
It was as if all of Abhaya's blood had risen to the top of her head. This was not how she knew them; for a long time, she assumed they were reasonable people, but it was even worse for toddlers to believe. She believe her fever will worsen. She was overcome by a sense of being out of time.
"All of you come out. Immediately!" She indicated the door.
"Hudson is going to—" Azael stated.
“Out! Your commotion. And, besides, I don't want to see his again. Everyone, out. ”
"Even me?" Cuhen's question was innocent. It even made puppy eyes at itself and pointed at itself.
She wanted to laugh at how it appeared. Shit! She remembered being his boss, as well as Azael's, but that was a long time ago. She desired to be alone and to think clearly. "Everyone," she finally replied before returning to bed with her eyes closed.
Suddenly, the environment became silent. She opened her eyes to see them sitting quietly and motionless on a sofa that was so small that they could actually fit themselves on it. She couldn't stop laughing at herself. They're all damn idiots! She laughed for the first time. Hudson was fortunate to have such a friend. She filled the entire room with laughter, as if nothing was wrong.
"It appears that we will need to commit her to a mental institution," Zyd said anxiously.
Cuhen said. "Or in rehabilitation..."
"Maybe she's using too much drugs?” Azael, shook his head.
"Are you all right? Do they provide you with food? Perhaps you're not insane yet?" Farhistt said.
Instead of becoming enraged by what they said, she laughed. They are truly magnificent. She knows they're just making her laugh, which she appreciates, but that doesn't mean she's okay with Hudson. She may forgive him, but she will never forget. She will still leave once she is well. She also needed to call Jacky because she knew she was worried about her at this time.
After an hour, the door opened again and she spat in the face of the person she didn't want to see. She only gave it a sarcastic look before turning away. His friends had all left, leaving them as the only person in the room.
She yelled, "Leave."
"Could we please talk?" Hudson voice was pleading, but she just laughed insultingly at him
"Leave!"
It took a step closer to her. "I'm not going to. Would you please listen to me this time?"
She glared at it angrily, and if her stares were just as lethal, Hudson would have vanished sooner. "Just die Hudson."
He was startled to approach her location. She could see the pain reflected on his face. Sick? She wanted to laugh, but she was afraid it would be inappropriate if they talked about their pain. It has no right to be hurt, not even a little pain. Simply seeing Hudson's face makes her curse the entire sky.
"Do you truly despise me that much?"
She smiled indifferently. "Loath."
"All right," he said quietly, clenching his fist. It raised its head, "But please give me a chance to talk."
