40- Slipped
She just gazed at her friend and went back to work with her laundry. The two's earlier joyful chat had devolved into silence, and they were in fear of disturbing the man who was soaking in the distance.
Tina was the first to leave after doing the clothes. She was left rinsing when her mother scooped it up. Will she be able to return home first, since they didn't arrive at the stream at the same time? It's also a possibility... Her eyes returned to the front of the stream as she chose to go home alone. Because there was a large boulder in the way, she couldn't see the case.
Is it okay if I call him?
Her foot stepped forward and she covertly peered over the jagged ledge, but she saw no Frahisto.
Oh, my goodness? He's no longer here! 'Couldn't he be an African catfish as well?' But, eh, he's white. Is it possible that it's catfish from the United States? 'It doesn't matter.
The man wasn't there, as she looked around. She was jittery! He was really attractive, she admitted – he resembled Brandon Routh but was more attractive. Perhaps he attracts to more than just fairies and spirits! Maybe even better than a mermaid.
Oh, my God! Isn't it possible that he was taken?
She dashed out of hiding, wearing her necklace to ward off the evil forces. “F-frahisto? Are you still alive? Frahisto! If you're not Super Man, maybe you're Spider Man or Iron Man? Or maybe Wonder Woman? Oyy, Frahisto! Did you drown? Speak up!" she worried as she looked around but couldn't find him.
"Can you tell me who you're looking for?"
When someone spoke from behind her, he was flabbergasted. As a result, one of her feet slipped on the rock. She froze, and strong arms grasped her waist before she could feel herself sinking into the deep part of the water.
"Ha?!"
"I've got you!"
As she stared into Frahisto's eyes, Odessa's heart immediately stopped. Although she did not end up in the water, the man did! His captivating eyes stared at her as if they were piercing into her heart, his sharp nose sculpted by God, and his lips that— My God! If Frahisto is her first kiss, she will most likely pass out.
Is his kiss good? Hmp!
She pushed the man away with a shake of her head. But she was a fool, she fell into the water because of what she did.
She screamed, "Frahisto!" She broke down and admitted she couldn't swim.
"Odessa!" exclaimed the man as jump immediately.
As she was lifted from the water, he hold her waist. She hugged his neck, unaware of the fact that they were so close together. She had no intention of taking a wash, aside from the very cold water, because she had no spare dress.
"Are you all right?"
"Huh?" she exclaimed as she realized their bodies were closed together and hugging under the water. Frahisto tightened his grip on her waist as she hurriedly pushed away from his grasp.
"You okay?"
She didn't say anything. Apologies for the trouble. When it had surprised her earlier, eh. Her heart was still playing with thorns at that point. Is it his fault that he makes her heart and body race every time she sees him. She's really upset that he's leaving and yet he still wants to speak with her?
"Let's go home together..." he said as he led her to the shallow area of the water.
She hurriedly released free of his grasp and reached for the basin. She took a step forward. Wouldn't it come back if they were together? What was going on with her, she shook her head slightly. He'll most likely return home because he has a wife waiting for him in Manila. She was struck a lot on that part, but it wasn't too bad. It's difficult to manage her heart because it's so resilient.
"Hija?" said Mang Bartolome, who stood at the window, patiently waiting for her to finish hanging the clothing.
"Why, Father?"
"I received a call from your mum and father. If you're so obstinate, why don't you pay a visit to your parents? Kuu!"
She simply grinned in response to her father's words. She'd contact them later, when she'd hung the laundry outside. "I'll give them a ring later."
"Oh, most likely! Where is Frahisto, by the way? ”
Hearing the young man's name, she was speechless. She pretended to be preoccupied hanging up the phone. Does she give a damn about that guy? It would be best if he left right now, so her heart could return to normal. That man is simply tampering with her system. She sighed deeply.
That night, she couldn't sleep. She was back in her bed in no time. She remembers what happened in the stream earlier, how Frahisto hugged her in the water and how it stared at her. She was gasping for air. What will she do now to get some sleep? Her heart was not going to cease beating.
Regrettably, she went to the window and inhaled the fresh air. It was a frigid night, but the prospect of the man returning home made her even sadder. It seemed as though her heart was weighing her down. She was slowly adapted Frahisto to being the first thing she looked for in the morning and before going to sleep.
She was briefly standing at the window when she observed movement on the other side of the yard. Ghost? She doesn't believe so. It was Frahisto, she fell into Odessa's consciousness after staring at what was moving. She instantly gave him a second glance and spotted him calmly heading in the direction of a 'No Trespassing' sign.
He's returning to the realm of the spirits!
She had no choice but to follow the man, even though she was terrified. It might be even worse this time if she lets him go. Maybe he was sleep walking. Now it's up to her to decide!
It is up to her to follow Frahisto! She did, however, have a flashlight with her this time. She is determined not to stumble. Frahisto and she were separated by a considerable distance, yet she could clearly see him. Because the man is kinda panther kind, she assures she won't lose track of him. Frahisto has a sixth eye, she believes.
Oh, my! I lost him once more!
In irritation, she stomped on her stool. Eh, she just said she'd be cautious. There was nothing she could do but run through the woods.
"Where are you? Frahisto! You make me nervous." Frahisto was nowhere to be found as she searched him. Crickets and bugs were all she could hear. "Oh, my! It has become much more terrifying." She keeps looking for him. When a frog leaped at her feet, she almost screamed. She was soothing herself by biting her bottom lip. She didn't bother to turn on her flashlight, which she still grasped securely.
She began her trek into the dense forest. Hopefully, no ghosts or snakes. Worse, fairies or wolves! She prayed as her steps slowing. She also calls the man's name, but just faintly, so as not to disturb the other creatures.
What the heck is it? A light appeared front of her. Approximately a meter distant. Houses? However, she was aware that there was a sign indicating that this location was off-limits. It's impossible to own a home, but what if it is? Frahisto may be there. Perhaps that house has an old witch who enchanted my Frahisto! That's possible! Right now, I have to find him. Many women find Frahisto to be attractive. I, too, am fond of him—
She quickly shake of her head, she expressed her dissatisfaction with what running to her mind. She kept thinking about his handsome face, and she went into the light she could see before her dread subsided. To ward off horrors, she tightened her grip on her necklace. She will undoubtedly triumph when she confronts the old witch or whatever is bad. Sure, why not? She considered herself to be courageous... Her fear of snakes was all she had.
“Frahisto? Are you here, Frahisto?" she inquired, her voice nearly whispering. She did it if she had the ability to shout.
She continued to walk gently towards the light she could see. Maybe it's not the light that's ascending to the heavens? She inhaled deeply and forced herself to think clearly. After that, what else was she thinking about? Frahisto must be rescued!
"What is that?" Despite the fact that it was dark due to the dense woods, she rapidly peered around. Someone was speaking.
"Oh no! I believe Frahisto has been eaten!" She hurriedly began walking, practically running. But her foot was entangled in the protruding veins, causing her to stumble. Wait a minute, Frahisto!
But she was taken aback when she arrived at the opening and saw someone else. Not Frahisto. There were several of them, Odessa estimates that they are like 20 of men. They were armed, and she also noticed the two african catfish was there too. Her heart jumped at what she saw, and she knew something bad was about to happen. She looked at the light source, which was a stone house.
"Why does no one know this place is a hide out
She took a step back, fearful that if she stayed any longer, something bad would happen to her. But what about Frahisto? She noticed him enter. She was taken aback. Could it be that she always notices when the man is missing because he is watching this place? She bit her lip. It meant, Frahisto is a cop... Or even more so.
"How many times have I told you to quit going to Bartolome's niece? That woman constantly gets you into fights, ah!"
Is she the one they're talking about? She looked at the speaker, a fat man with a big belly and a long mustache.
"She's my type, boss! That woman is stunning! Her breasts and legs are to die for, and I'm constantly hardened whenever I view Odessa's fat ass!"
She wanted to stone it with th flashlight she was holding, but before she could lift her hand to stone it, someone abruptly dragged her away, causing her to resist, but she soon calmed down when she heard Frahisto's voice.
"What brings you here?"
Her eyes narrowed as she realized the man was fine, and she hugged him tightly. "I thought you were hurt. Wait, are you a cop?!" she exclaimed as she let go.
"Odessa, answer my question! What are you doing here? Don't you realize how dangerous this location is? Fuck!"
She was flabbergasted. "I-I saw you walking here and I was scared thinking you were being charmed by fairies again," she said, knowing it was dangerous but she's worried for him.
He sighed and remained silent. She couldn't see his face because it was dark at their location, even though she desperately wanted to touch his cheek.
"Odessa..."
"W-what?" She wonders each time he mentions her name... She stutters and gets worried all of the time.
