13 - Secured Him

She gave him a more seductive look. Just see if her strategy works. Her hand slid down to his wailing abs. No! She wants to slap herself in the face. She thinks touching those abs makes her hot. But, before she betrayed herself, she needed to put Hudson to sleep first, then leave the room. She took his hand in hers and dragged him over to the bed. He didn't bother trailing her around like a lost puppy.

"Kianna, I want you..."

Hudson's words made her hair stand on end, but she pretended not to notice. What did it think of her, a fuckable girl? No way. As her body was exposed to the man, she smiled sweetly. She wins once it bites into her plan. She took a seat in the bed. She smiled at her right hemisphere of the brain. It was Hudson's turn once it lay down, so she prepared for what it would do next. She undid her robe and exposed her thin nightgown in a seductive manner.

She teasingly bit her lips and said, "Join me here love." Hudson gradually approaches her to bed. In the back of her mind, she giggled gently. Women are men's Achilles' Heel.

When Hudson got close enough, her two thighs clamped around his waist. She slightly closed her eyes to give the impression that she wasn't planning anything. She also reminded herself several times that Hudson might find out about the plan if she revealed it.

He locked his gaze on her, and she sensed that her earthly body was fighting back. Slowly, his lips approached her, but before his lips could touch her, her hand was raised in the air to deliver a powerful blow to the nape of Hudson's neck, knocking him out.

"Shit!" she screamed as Hudson grabbed her two hands and slid a handcuff across the bed's headboard, which she had no idea where it came from.

He mockingly smiles at her, "You think I'm a fool? Sorry love, I'm not that IDIOT."

“Bullshit! I need to get out of here!”

He sarcastically said, "Later baby," and shook her thigh, which was hugging his waist, but she did not move. She cinched it even tighter. "Don't bother me any longer, Ms. Trunt; you'll regret it later. You probably don't want to put yourself in this situation and claim you until you are unable to walk.”

She quickly removed her thigh and kicked his body in anger. Hudson collapsed on the bed, unable to prepare for what she did. She softly laughed at what she did, but she quickly became serious when he gave her a sidelong glance before heading to the closet. Hudson puts on a black t-shirt and a leather jacket. He wore it with black pants and a sarcastic smile as he looked at her. He walked over to the door, picking up an attaché case from the side table.

“Hudson! Please bring me along. You foolish jerk, your life is in jeopardy?!" she screamed angrily.

It left her inside his huge room, saying, "I accept that as a complement. Prepare my coffin when I return."

"Jacky!" she screamed as all the blood rushed to her head. She calls Jacky on the other end of the line and listens.

"I'm heading to the patio," she says.

Abhaya felt better when she realized her friend was on her way to free her. She had no choice but to follow that man. She'd track him down, break his leg, and then turn the assignment over to Yx after tonight. She'd do it if she could just prepare Hudson's coffin.

When they exited the room, Jacky quickly released her and handed her a gun before heading downstairs. She was relieved to see that Hudson's car had not yet left, and that he was already inside, talking on his cellphone.

"Get going! Get going!" Jacky pushed her away, saying, "We don't have time." She was well aware of what she was implying.

She didn't waste any time and dashed to the back of the car, where she sat quietly in the back compartment. It's great, and she's petite enough to fit in the back compartment.

Through the earrings she was wearing, she heard her friend say, "I'll follow you to the airport."

She felt the car start after a few moments, and it was moving quickly. Hudson was afraid of running fast, right? She chose to ignore it. Stopping Hudson is more important to her. She didn't want Yx to belittle them and Jackylyn by saying they couldn't handle it. Hudson heard gunfire coming from nowhere in the middle of her drive. What the hell is going on?!

"You were followed by three vehicles," Jacky said.

“Shit!" she retorted vehemently. She appeared to want to fight from the back compartment, but she knew what she was planning would be impossible. She could even be the first to perish as a result of the process. They seemed to be moving faster to her.

"Doctor Hayes' vehicle is bulletproof, so don't be worry."

She took a deep breath and exhaled slowly. Even though she despised him, she didn't want him to die as a result of her mission. Just in case, she'll return the assignment undamaged. When she hears a loud bang on her head, she closes her eyes. Someone tapped them on the back.

"Are you all right?"

"Shoot them now," she said, her head dripping with blood. When she looked at her hand through the lighting on mode bracelet she was wearing, she could clearly see the blood on it.

"We're down to one car."

The car's loud explosion was heard by her. She smiled. In any case, when it comes to fighting, her companion is unavoidable. It's no surprise that this is her favorite pair because it's always reliable. When someone hit them again and the car swerved, she was knocked down. Shit!

"Hold on!"

“Fool! I'm not sure where I'll be able to keep my grip." she said irritably, closing her eyes again when she felt the Hudson connect with another vehicle. She slammed her head against the wall once more. She would not have gone into the back compartment if she had known what was about to happen.

A series of gunshots were heard. They are being fired upon by their foes. She also expressed gratitude to Hudson for bringing a bulletproof vehicle. They wouldn't be in this situation today if it weren't for this jackass Doctor's obstinacy.

“Abhaya? Are you all right? Kienne!”

“Yes! Hudson is our responsibility! Pay attention to him!"

“Okay! Argh! Four armed vehicles are now on their way— Abhaya, you okay? I'm going to shoot— argh!"

“Shit! Jackylyn?" No! She was awakened by the sound of a vehicle crash. She wants to go out, but doing so puts her life in jeopardy. “Jacky! Are you all right? Jackylyn!” However, their line remained unanswered.

She could only hear the sounds of the environment before hearing a tremendous explosion. Abhaya's heart hammered as she prayed for the safety of her friend. Just in case, she couldn't forgive herself.

Then she noticed the car's speed increase. She could hear gunshots and the squeaking of every wheel. It's a race, and Hudson is in the driver's seat. She couldn't do anything except pray that she wouldn't pass out. However, as she felt the automobile swerve multiple times as a result of the powerful impact on them, she was lost in darkness and her forehead was severely bruised.

"Jacky..."

WHEN Abhaya first opened her eyes, she was taken aback. She rubbed her temples and blinked a few times, trying to recall what had happened. When she remembered what had happened, everything came back to her. She was jolted awake from her slumber.

"Hudson!" she exclaimed as she peered around, noticing the young man snoozing next to her.

There were scars on its face and hair, and part of the blood had hardened. As she watched him, she bit her lower lips. She had no idea why or how she ended up in that room; all that mattered to her was that the man was still alive. She examined Hudson's right hand, which was injured and covered with blood. She scowled and reached for his hand, knowing well well that he had just punched a hard wall and that his hand looked like this. She spotted a bandage wrapped around her head and assumed she had a lump on her head.

When she thought of Jacky, she winced. She snatched her necklace and spoke hastily. But there was no Jackylyn on the other end of the telephone to answer the few times she spoke. Abhaya took a deep breath and reminded herself that worrying would not help her, and she knew her friend would not be easily defeated. Jacky is someone she knows and trusts. When the young doctor said, she decided to get out of bed.

"You should get some rest; your body requires it."

She remained silent. She went on, but not before closing her eyes and touching her head. It's excruciating.

"Rest."

She never fought Hudson when he dragged her back to bed. As her head rested on the pillow, her eyelids were weary. That's true, she had to take a break even if it was only for a moment, and she didn't know the darkness had engulfed her once more.

It was dawn when she opened her eyes, and the sunshine was bright, judging by the amount of light that entered the room. She didn't get up right away; instead, she stared at the ceiling for a few minutes before getting up. She was free to move because the man was nowhere to be seen.

She immediately went to the window and stretched. The azure and peaceful water opened up to her just a few meters away. Her eyes widened as she realized what she was seeing: they were in a resort.

She turned around and went outside to find and speak with Hudson. When she noticed Hudson, she was exactly on the last rung of the stairwell. Standing. With a window in the living room, it is dipped and faces the sea. She paused for a minute, her gaze sweeping across his broad shoulder. She sensed a sinister energy engulfing him. It signaled danger, and she felt a pang of anxiety for the first time since she vanished. She elected to remain silent and return upstairs.

"Damn hell, Kianna! What were you thinking?"

She came to a halt and braced herself for the challenge ahead. She was well aware of the implications. "Doctor Hayes, I'm doing my job," she said confidently. Why couldn't she stand the odd rage in its eyes?

"Bullshit!" He screamed obscenities and yanked his phone from his pocket, which was ringing. She lost the young man's attention for a little minute. "I'm fine. Yes, I'm in good shape. Goodbye, Mom, and take care."
