29 - What Happened

Wow! The one who is talented in acting. He is an actor as well as a doctor, engineer, hacker, and businessman. Hayes is extremely perfect in all! He nailed it with a smile.

"...Abhaya..."

"Please leave now. That's all I'd ask of you. Leave and never come back to see me. I'll hate you even more if you keep doing this. The more I remember that you were the reason my baby died, the more I want you to leave! Hudson, please leave. Get out before I kill you." Her gaze became more intense as she waited for him to leave forever, but instead, it approached her and reached for the knife next to the apples on her side table.

"Then murder me." It presented her with the knife.

Does it frighten her? Threatened? She took it fearlessly and looked it in the eyes. This guy is hilarious. She grinned and locked her gaze on it.

He grabbed her hand, and his eyes were dimly focused on her. "I... I love you."

With tears in her eyes, she stabbed the knife hard on him. Hudson's eyes just dimmed as she stared at him, tenderly smiling. She pressed harder on the stabbing, Hudson endured the pain, and no complaint could be heard from the young man's lips, but she could clearly see the tears welling up in his eyes. It has no right telling her he loves her. No! She closed her eyes and drew the knife. It is unworthy of forgiveness or even love.

"Abhaya!"

She was taken aback when she saw Jacky at the door. She withdrew and tossed the knife aside. When she looked at him, Hudson was bloody before her, her body trembling. His shoulder was flooded with blood. But the expression he gave her remained dim.

"Could you please leave? L-leave now… please…" her vision was blurred, and she had no idea what happened next.

THE NEXT morning, Abhaya awoke to Jackylyn's pat and shake. When she opened her eyes, she noticed her friend's worried expression.

"God, you're okay!" she exclaimed, quickly hugging her. "You're having a dream."

"Why?" she exclaimed, stunned by what she had done to Hudson and what she had witnessed.

"I'm keeping an eye on you here."

She was about to get up from lying down when her friend intervened. "But I have to leave. I can reclaim my body," she finally said.

She nodded and assisted her in getting to her feet. "Are you certain?"

She nodded and smiled. It was exhausting, and there was nothing left to do but get her out of there. They didn't say anything, and it didn't move from what it saw her do. But she was leaving one day. Jackylyn will be left behind, the only one who can walk away and heal the wound.

Her suitcase, phony passport, and wallet are all packed. She is now on her way to Iceland. Jacky's flight is currently being processed. As she walked down the stairs, she looked at her with sadness. It's like leaving a toddler at home and not including them in the outing. She laughed at the expression and smirked at her friend. She is welcome to pay her a visit at any time.

"Are you sure you're not going to change your mind?"

"Yes," she said, nodding. Jackylyn, I'll just look for myself.

It sighed and leaned to one side. "But then there's Doc. Hayes, she always makes you feel how much he adores you and how valuable you are to him."

She laughed and shook her head at what she said. Love? Is that love gone? Hudson also returned to her for a few days and nights, pleading with them to talk. What exactly does it want them to talk about? Why doesn't it just go away?

"You escorted me to the airport."

"Okay-okay!" she rolled her eyes. "Please place your suitcase in the back compartment, and we will depart."

She carried the suitcase out in an artistic manner. She will be sad even now that she must leave her friend, but it is necessary. It's only a matter of time before she returns. For the time being, leaving is the best option.

While waiting for Jackylyn, she clenched her fist in the passenger seat. The stuffed toy on its dashboard unlocked for her. She smiled bitterly and said, 'Don't let anger consume you.'

Shee recalls visiting her son's grave the day before, when she was still a long distance away... She noticed Hudson, who was standing in front of her child's grave. It entered her mind first, slapping it and driving it away, but she stood to one side, far away, 'unnoticed' by the man. When his shoulder shook and he began to cry, she was no longer surprised. She smiled bitterly, knowing that even if he shed a few more tears, it would not restore her child''s life.

He knelt down and could hear him sob. 'Sorry, baby... Sorry,' he said several times.

She turned away before being possessed by the devil.

When Jackylyn entered the driver's seat, she averted her gaze. "What's with the face?"

"Yx talked to me," Jackylyn sighed.

"Yx?"

“Yes. She stated that Hudson was missing. She never returned home, and the last information they had from him came from the cemetery. ”

She didn't say anything. She forced herself to pay attention to what Jacky had said. She was enraged at the young man. In terms of what it did to her and everything else. Her heart was filled with rage once more, so she didn't care and stared at the stuffed toy.

"I don't care about him," she said, closing her eyes to signal to the woman that she didn't want to speak about the man.

"Last night, Theon and I talked. To tell you the truth, I asked him what he knew about you... According to Theon, you nearly died on your last mission to Mississippi. I wouldn't let anything happen to my friend if I wasn't comatose at the time.”

It piqued her interest, so she opened her eyes again and examined her. "Would you like to say something to me?"

"You should ask Doc Hayes."

"Please, Jacky... I don't want to talk to that man."

Jacky phone suddenly rang, and she quickly answered it. "Yx… Yes? What happened? Kienne? True... What do you mean? Doc Hayes? No way... ”

What happened?

Abhaya's heart suddenly pounded, and she was nervous whether she admitted it or not. She didn't like the way her friend was talking to Yx. Is there something wrong? Is it true that the man has gone missing and is being sought, or is she just a short distance away? There was nothing wrong here. She didn't care why the force of her heartbeat was almost erupting from her body.

Hudson, please...

“Shit! Can you just take a taxi, Kienne? I have to assist Yx in saving Doc Hayes."

"Jackylyn!"

She came to a halt and looked at her, surprised, "He's in a critical situation. Yx tracked down the person who wanted to kill him, and I assume they are torturing him now. ”

She stared at Jacklyn for a long time before speaking. In those moments, her brain and heart were at odds. She should be happy, but why isn't she?

As they got into her car, Jackylyn shuddered as she looked at her. It pulls that thing up quickly, as if it owns the road.

"Yx will kill me if she discovers I brought you with me!"

"I'm not concerned with Yx. That guy is still to blame and will you drive faster now. Make it soar!"

She winced at what she said and nodded, "May God bless us all."

She didn't want what she got from the friend she wanted to accompany her. But because she was naughty and used to be superior, she was able to say yes to Jackylyn despite her refusal to include her.

"You really despise him, don't you? Why did you show up? Your flight to Iceland has now taken off.”

Why? Yes, she does despise the man. But knowing he'd been arrested and suspected of being beaten and killed didn't sit well with her. She spent half her life shielding him... Prior to... She planned to kill him when she was not yet suspected. She has no idea what the rest is.

"...Kienne..."

"Just drive, Jacky," she finally replied, and she could only nod in agreement. After that, she will be able to live peacefully in Iceland.

She brought two firearms with her. When Jacky walks in, they part ways. A burned-out building far from civilization is now in front of them. They split up at the entrance to find the man faster, and because there were no people outside, they had an easier time. Rather than going to the airport, she is now with Jackylyn.

"Arghhhh!"

It was, if she wasn't mistaken, Hudson's voice. It was on the third floor, and she could hear people laughing as the man cried out in pain.

'Yx, where have you been?!' she pondered in her mind. Maybe it's not what's going on right now. Because if that happens, she swears she'll kill it with her own hands.

Hudson screamed angrily, "Stop it!!! Argghhh!"

It was as if her heart was pounding as she heard his piercing cry, as if he had been tormented too much. She wanted to run straight to the room, but she couldn't because she might die if she did.

Her body was in good shape, and she knew she could fight right now. She had no qualms about sneaking up each stairwell.

"Is it painful? It will be even more painful if you don't admit it."

"Strike that beast!"

She wanted to flee and kill the people there right away, but that would get her in trouble.

"Damn you! I have no idea what you're talking about, idiots."

Abhaya hears loud laughter and concludes that there will not be over thirty people, that if she hurried, the sun would never shine on her.

"Enough already! Please stop."

Damn! She ran up the stairs to the room where the man was, she listened to where the voice and noise were coming from, it was at the very end, she was just wondering why there seemed to be no one in the hallway watching, but she no longer cared, her mission was to save Hudson.

When she heard loud laughter and gunshots, the strength in her chest throbbed. Hudson nooo! She appeared to be running to the last room when someone pulled up behind her, which she didn't notice because she was in too much of a hurry.

She no longer fought because there were six armed men behind her, all pointing high-caliber guns at her, and she couldn't see what they looked like because of the mask they were wearing. She hope they don't catch Jacky.

When Abhaya saw Hudson appear in the middle of that large room tied to a chair and bruised body, she bit her lip. His forehead and nose were bleeding, and there were bruises on the lips and face, and some of its blood was dripping onto the floor. It had a wound on the side, and that's where the blood came from.

"Hudson!!!!!!" She didn't care; she ran to look him and wept as she watched the young man's face.

"A-Abhaya?" Hudson's disbelief reached her cheek, but he couldn't because his two hands were handcuffed to the back of the iron chair.

She did the same thing, she wanted to reach his face but couldn't, so all she could do was cry as she sat in front of him. Hudson looked tired and exhausted, and she could see in his eyes that he was just trying to cope with the pain.
