I quickly come out from my apartment carrying my luggage
I am wearing a yellow split self-tie sleeve Bardot top with blue jeans and silver heels my face is natural makeup-free, my long black curly hair is opened
Formally, a man in a black suit arrives, he is the same man who comes earlier to give me food which is from Lucifer for me, and he held my luggage from me he said "Good morning Mam, I'm Jorden, Mr. Kingston send me to take you to his new house as he will join you thereafter his meetings " He spoke to me and I nodded smiling to him but somewhere I felt so disappointed and sad, I thought lucifer will pick me up like last time
what do you expect, that Billionaire is sitting free for you with driver cap, or he is your Crazy lover so he will pick you up for your works instead of his important meetings, my inner voice told me smugly
I want to roll my eyes at myself so badly how stupid I'm why I want to be with him at every moment of my life even his thought brings butterflies in my stomach
"Please call me Damaris, " I told him, I am not habitual to it
We were in a way of going to his place, his new home which bought is in another side of the city with the nature-friendly area
I saw a team of guards trailing protecting it and workers working on garden and cleaning
I saw His mansion comprised of white marble standing in its glory; it is not a mansion it looks like a palace
I come out of the car, and entered the mansion
everything is ready, properly, and perfectly
I saw Delilah, Juliana discussing designs, in a living area with the designer working team, well they both are managers of furniture of this project of arranging things in his mansion
I noticed Deliah who has blonde hair and wearing a black pencil skirt with a Yellow blouse, noticed my presence and comes towards me smiling sweetly
"Hello Damaris, we arranged everything as you instruct us and finally mansion is ready only home theater color combination on furniture and decor around the balcony is left," she spoke sighing in relief
I nodded, smiling at her while looking around
They arrange properly his living room with Big glass walls around stairs with grand white color curtains around it and a Marble floor graced with Rich patterned Carpets, while Shimmers of Gold hang around the sitting area
"You did an awesome job Juliana and Damaris and so do your working team, " I endorsed them
"Credit leads to you Damaris, you are the one who makes furniture and materials for designing this beautiful place without your support this can't happen," Delilah said sincerely to me and Juliana nodded with her smiling at me
I shook my head "It's the result of all of our hard work " I explained matter-of-factly.
"Indeed, it is " Lucifer Entered, wearing an expensive maroon suit, the aura of his presence is so intimidating
They all greet him and after they had gone its only me and lucifer he is already staring at me intensely
"What, " I asked blushing, watching down
"Thank you so much for this arranging a beautiful place," He compliments me I shook my head "It's nothing, and it's not possible without a team," I told him the fact
he nodded
"Um, see Your home theater is almost done, just tell me what colors combination you like dark or lite ones," I asked and noted his Orders about it
Suddenly I heard the thundering heavy sound from outside me and lucifer we both looked up and hurried outside, we noticed gun firing is happening as someone is targeting his mansion and lucifer's men rushed with guns and security to look after
soon, I noticed Lucifers's men are grabbing a man looking in his late thirties and he is carrying a gun with him, looking with so much hatred towards lucifer not only him some other men are also caught with guns
lucifer's hands clenched into fists
"Go inside," Lucifer ordered me in an intimidating tone without looking at me because he is busy glaring at that man
"But who is he and what he wants from you, " I asked and Lucifer closed his eyes in anger and saw at me, just look at him is enough for me to understand that it's not good to disobey him so I hurried inside of the mansion
I come into the living room sat up on the couch with sweat forming on my forehead what I saw outside in anticipation what is the matter here, A maid comes she seems in her late thirties comes and smiled sweetly at me "Mam, It's Sir's order to take you towards guestroom and he mentioned that you may not come out from room and mansion until he arrives to see you" he spoke and I frowned How can he order for me, I am not his slave
"Where is he," I asked impudently to her
"Mam, please try to understand let me take you to the guestroom, its strict order from Mr. Kingston, otherwise I will get fired, " She told me pleading, I sighed looking at her, I can understand her condition, I think besides the difference of the profession we are in the same condition
I nodded to her and follow her
"What is your name, " I asked her
"I am Janice, I am working for Mr. Kingston for Six years, beside me there are fifty other maids and servants also we live in the servant quarter of This mansion" she mentioned and I nodded
"Do you have any idea who is that man who has a gun and comes to kill lucifer? " I asked her while we entered in guestroom it's so a beautiful room with marble flooring and a king-size bed with couch beside it and expensive furniture
She shook her head " So sorry mam it's not my place to tell you besides this I don't have any idea about this but yes Sir's rivals are always behind his life " she told me
I nodded to her "Please call me Damaris" I told her
she seems shocked by hearing this
I frowned "What happen," I asked, noticing her
"You are very kind and friendly," She said with a glint of happiness in her eyes
I laughed and raised my eyebrows "Why" I asked her
she stopped laughing
" I should bring something to eat for you, " she said to me and started going but I stopped her
"Wait, Janice, I wanna ask something, " I asked her and she nodded
"Can you tell me about Adelina, Lucifer's ex-wife, and their relationship?" I asked, unsure of her.
