“Damn it!”
That was the fourth time in a second that Nathan Strong let out a curse, as he sped toward Jamie's apartment.
He knew that Jamie was a friend of
Dylan, and that he was a good friend of Suzanne's. He didn't know where to look for her anymore.
He no longer knew where to look for her as he didn't know where her father and the friend lived, so his only hope was Jamie.
He had ruled out telling the police, because his grandfather was an enemy of scandals and he didn't want him to find out about this situation that he felt guilty about.
If he had ever been told he would be like this because of a woman he wouldn't have believed it, he would have laughed in their faces.
He knocked on the apartment door quickly, heard footsteps and it opened.
“Nathan!” Jamie exclaimed when he saw his boss there, especially when he saw the distressed look on his face.
“I need the address of the place where Dylan lives," he said bluntly.
“From... Dylan?”
“Yes, I need to talk to him, he must know where Suzanne is or she's probably with him or her father. I need an address now.”
“No, pal, she's not with him," Jamie said, scratching the back of his neck. “Dylan's been with me all afternoon, helping me with some paperwork.”
“Fuck! That's not possible.”
“Wait... let me call him, maybe he knows where your girl is.”
Dylan appeared through the door, puzzled by the visit.
“Where is Suzanne?” Nathan asked as soon as he saw him.
“How should I know?” Dylan shrugged his shoulders. “I haven't seen her for several days, the last I heard was what I told you.”
“What do you mean you told him? Did something happen to Suzanne?” Jamie questioned.
“What did you do to her?" said Dylan, now upset, turning to Nathan.
“She's not well, I have to find her," he said.
“If that's what I'm thinking, there's only one place she can be, she doesn't know much about the city," Dylan said and Nathan, for the first time, paid real attention to him.
He had barely told him where she could be and he was already in the car. Although he tried to take it easy, he could not.
He was very worried about her, he knew her and he knew she was an innocent girl and anyone could take advantage of her, especially if she was in that place.
Dylan had promised to look for her in another bar, but the one Nathan was going to was the bar they mostly frequented. Nathan thought that he had never driven so fast before and was grateful that he had taken the sports car.
He parked the car in the blink of an eye, but as he was getting out of the car to go into the bar for Suzanne, he heard a strange noise, which faded away when he heard his cell phone ring.
On the other hand, Suzanne had heard the sound of the car and pounded on the door with her feet, trying to get someone to hear her.
That guy ripped off her clothes mercilessly, leaving her only in her underwear.
“Delicious.”
“You disgust me," said Suzanne, spitting in his face.
He slapped her angrily and she felt the metallic taste of blood in her mouth.
The man was touching her all over and she was writhing in disgust, fear and pain.
Nathan saw the unknown number on her cell phone screen, and for a millisecond he thought about not answering.
“Nathan, did you find her?” That was Dylan's voice.
“I haven't gone in yet, I guess you didn't have any luck.”
“No, but she must be in there, get her out of there quickly, please," he asked worriedly.
“Nathan," Suzanne whispered, her voice trembling.
“No, honey, I'm Thadeus," said that guy with a malicious smile.
“Nathan," she said again, as she thought she heard his voice.
“As you wish," said the guy, ripping off her bra with a single tug.
“No, please," she begged, tears rolling down her cheeks.
But he didn't stop, he fondled her breasts roughly, and she screamed in terror.
Nathan Strong had never shuddered like that before. It was her, he knew it.
His heart was pounding as he moved quickly to the carriage where the scream had come from.
“Suzanne!” he shouted loudly.
‘Help!” she shouted with what little strength she had left.
“Shut up, bitch!” Thadeus snarled, and at the same time hit her again with force.
Nathan tried to open the door, but it was locked, so he took off his jacket and wrapped his hand in it, breaking the glass of the back door.
What he saw brought out the worst in him.
Suzanne heard the sound of glass shattering and then that guy was whisked away from her in less than a second. She was so weak from the alcohol and the blows she had taken that she could barely keep her eyes open.
Thadeus let out a cry of pain as his body crashed roughly on the cold floor of the parking lot, starting to take blows everywhere and mercilessly.
Suzanne could barely recognize the man who was beating Thadeus, she had never seen Nathan so angry and aggressive before, the blows he was throwing were accurate and strong, practically lethal.
He looked like a homicidal madman.
“You'll be sorry you were born, you fucking scum!” he shouted at him in a menacing voice.
“Nathan," Suzanne called him in a whisper, trying to get him to stop hitting the guy, since he was already unconscious and his face was all bloody.
She didn't want him to get in legal trouble for murdering a man.
He went over to her and put his shirt on her to cover her up a bit, looked at the bruises on her body, the red cheeks, the split lower lip and really wanted to kill that wretch.
Suzanne thought it was just a figment of her imagination, but when he held her in his arms, she knew it was real, he really had saved her from that scumbag of a man.
She quickly collapsed in his arms, beginning to tremble and cry, as he laid her on his firm, warm torso.
“Let me go kill him, Suzie," he growled, and she snuggled closer to him, as if it were possible.
He stroked her cheeks softly and then kissed her forehead
tenderly. Again he looked at the bruises on her face, and a flash of anger crossed her perfect face.
“You son of a bitch! I'm going to kill you, I'm going to sink you if I have to go straight to hell," he snarled again, his voice cracking at last.
He took the girl in his arms and carried her to his car, putting her gently in the back seat. Then he called one of his trusted lawyers to see to it that the bastard never set foot on the street again.
The years of imprisonment that awaited that scum were not few. Nathan Strong was not just any man, his word was law and no one ever dared to defy him.
He had solved everything in a few minutes, where countless people had arrived, including the police and an ambulance, as well as Dylan and Jamie, worried about Suzanne.
On the way home, Nathan stopped at a pharmacy to buy some medicine, while she was asleep.
Anger still permeated every part of his body and guilt tormented him.
