Nathan felt the world disappear around him. Suzanne was there, with him, her lips soft and warm against his.

He wanted to protect her, to be with her, not just out of duty, but because his heart demanded it. The distance between them vanished with each passing second they spent together.

Finally, they parted, breathing heavily. Their eyes met again, reflecting a mix of unspoken but clearly felt emotions.

"Suzanne, I don't want you to feel alone in this," Nathan said, his voice barely audible.

"And I don't want to be," Suzanne replied, her voice trembling slightly.

Nathan embraced her, feeling her heartbeat against his chest. His phone rang and he tensed a bit, but when he saw it was Jamie, he apologized to Suzanne and answered.

Nathan walked around the living room, the phone pressed to his ear as he tried to process everything that had happened. Suzanne sat on the couch, watching him with a mix of concern and curiosity.

The soft light from the lamps in the room created an intimate atmosphere, but the tension in the air was palpable.

"Jamie, yes, I know. It's been absolute chaos," Nathan said, his voice low but firm.

"I heard what happened. I'm sorry I wasn't there. You're a bad friend for not telling me sooner," Jamie accused him from the other end of the line.

Nathan sighed, running a hand through his hair.

"Things have just happened, Jamie. I barely had the headspace for anything," he responded, his eyes meeting Suzanne's steady gaze.

"Or anyone other than Suzanne," he thought, feeling a knot in his stomach.

"How is Jarek?" Jamie asked, changing the subject.

"Stable, but it was a severe heart attack," Nathan explained, trying to keep his voice steady.

"You know I'm here for whatever you need," Jamie said sincerely.

"Thanks, I appreciate it," Nathan replied with a tone of gratitude.

There was a brief pause in the conversation. Suddenly, Jamie spoke again, his tone more serious.

"Have you told Suzanne about her supposed death? That your grandfather has been hiding things?" he asked.

Nathan swallowed nervously, feeling Suzanne's inquisitive gaze on him. His mind clouded for a moment, searching for an escape.

"I'm still working on that, Jamie. I can't tell her that yet," he responded evasively, feeling Suzanne narrow her eyes with suspicion.

"Well, keep me informed. And take care, Nathan," Jamie said before hanging up.

Nathan stared at the phone for a moment, his mind in a whirlwind. Suzanne watched him intently, noticing how pale and nervous he had become.

"What's wrong, Nathan?" she asked, her voice soft but full of concern.

Nathan hesitated, his thoughts racing in all directions. He didn't want to add more stress to Suzanne, but he also hated lying to her.

He looked into her eyes, full of unanswered questions.

"It's just..." he began, hesitating on how to continue. "It's just that all of this is overwhelming. I don't want you to get more nervous."

Suzanne stood up from the couch and approached him, placing a hand on his arm.

"Nathan, if there's something I need to know, I'd rather you tell me. I don't want you to protect me from the truth," she said firmly.

She saw him hesitate and it made her a little angry, feeling impatient.

She stepped away from him and felt him follow, looking back and indeed, he was right behind her, so she stopped abruptly and turned towards him.

"Can you tell me what the hell is going on?" she snapped, and he put his hands in his pockets, averting his gaze. "I feel like something's wrong and... and you don't want to tell me."

Nathan stepped closer and hugged her tightly. She tried to pull away but he didn't let her.

"There's nothing for you to worry about, darling," he said softly.

She pushed him away, angry.

"Don't lie. Why this enmity with your grandfather? I want to understand it," she was almost hysterical. "Your father showed up today and it was horrible. I... I don't know if I can feel safe again."

"These are matters I have to resolve, and you shouldn't question me about it," he swallowed hard, and she laughed bitterly.

"You're a complete idiot," she pointed at him accusingly. "I try to get closer and you... you just push me further away."

"No..."

"Shut up!" she shouted at him. "Don't say anything."

Nathan obeyed, and she just walked away, unable to be near him despite wanting to. Since she had arrived at this place, everything had been tense.

She heard footsteps behind her but didn't want to look back, somehow knowing it was him. She went to her old room and just as she was about to close the door, Nathan entered.

"Feeling better?" he asked from behind her.

"Let me breathe," she replied irritably.

"What's wrong with you?" Nathan questioned, but she didn't even know herself.

After a few seconds, she walked towards him and without thinking, kissed him frantically.

He wrapped his arms around her waist, then moved one hand up to bury it in her hair, gripping it tightly.

Suzanne wasn't thinking clearly and didn't know where she found the strength to open Nathan's shirt buttons. She caressed his abdomen, moving up softly to his chest, feeling him shudder.

The kiss remained intense and passionate. He turned her, pressing her back against the door, then began unzipping her dress with such delicate slowness that it was maddening.

His mouth moved to her neck, licking and then kissing her skin. With trembling hands, she undid his pants button and slipped her hand inside, touching his member.

"No rush," he said in a playful tone.

She took his long dic’k in her hands and without thinking twice, knelt before him while he remained standing, before taking it into her mouth.

She looked up at him provocatively, and he swallowed hard, feeling like he would explode with pleasure at any moment.

Suzanne slowly took his member into her mouth, and he let out a groan of pleasure. She confidently repeated the motion several times, making his moans more frequent.

Nathan placed his hand on the wall, his breathing becoming rapid, fully enjoying the warm and wet sensation of his woman's mouth.
