The Birth

My labor has started which means we also have started getting ready for the protection around our lands to drop as well. We don't know how lolng after the spell stops working that the darkness is going to attack but I can't imagine that it is going to be that long. So being as ready as we can be for what is coming is what every supernatural being is trying to do right now. That gives me more time to do the spell after delivery. While trying to help prepare my labor intensifies and my dragon starts taking over, guys I think it's time. As I enter the birthing chamber my dragon fully comes to the surface and changes fully. It is time for this egg to be born now, which means the count down is about to begin. I will have to stay in the chamber for atleast an hour after birth so my dragon can heal. I don't know if I can take any longer than that with what is at stake. I have no idea how long the darkness will wait and I don't want to lose anyone. As I start pushing the house starts to rumble and grumble. The other dragons are arriving to protect the house while I heal and do the spell. The covens are all gathered at the elder Vampires house and same with the wolves. All wolves are gathered at the first wolfs house. With each species all together like this with warriors and Alphas all in one, the darkness will not be able to pick them off and we will all have a better chance of knowing what we are up against and how to fight it. As I deliver the egg there is a blast and a shockwave that travels the world. The protection spell has officially gone away. My hour begins now.


It is time for me to come out and do the spell, however there has been no word or even appearance from the darkness. I am n ot sure why or what the darkness even is but it is now almost morning and I have to get this spell going. As I read through what is needed for the spell I realize I have to wait for sunrise which is in 32 minutes. While we wait for that we continue to set up the altar and get the ingredients all ready for when the sun comes up. As we are preparing Marcus points out that sunrise was an hour ago and it is still pitch black. If this is the darkness we are screwed. One we need the light for the spell and two half of our creatures need sunlight as part of their health, they will literally die. We send out word of what we think is going on and getting news back that they have not been attacked at all shows that this is the darkness. It is literally blackness and the creatures that hide in it. Now that we know what we are up against we just have to find a way to create enough sunlight to do the spell. I have no idea how we will do this though.

A wolf Alpha is coming to see us with word of a way to help but apparently it isn't the best thing and he is worried he will be hurt or punished for it so he is coming to speak to Marcus and I so that way what we say is the ruling and his pack won't be punished for his behavior. I am not sure all of what was said between Marcus and him but I will find out when he gets here. I don't think it was too bad though as Marcus agreed to see the man and thinks his idea may work. All I know is vampires will start to think they are top of the line if the sun doesn't come back. There has to be balance between dark and light and right now the balance is very tipped. The Alpha will be here around 8 tonight. Though it has been dark for over 24 hours now so the night is here already but he is traveling from a far territory. He is also bringing a few things with him other than his idea for fake sun, I honestly don't care what he has to help unless it hurts people or, is bad for our goals in our lands I am up for the suggestion. So bring it on because at this point any idea is better than no idea. The vampire covens are only holding off for now because of my father and the fact that if they start trying to take over all of my people will be slaughtered by the chosen and there will be nothing I can do to help them. This idea has to work.


This Alpha showed up with grow lights and power sources. His idea, 3 1000, watt grow lights as the sunlight source. His reason for it, if it grows the weed like it is getting natural sun then it should work as a natural sun source all on its own. These lights are made for growing food and other plants indoors and not having to plant them outside. In all honesty him being a grower is his own business so there will be no punishment dished out and the power that these lights put off might just give us the source of light we need for this spell. Leave it to a stoner to come up with an easy and effecient way to make fake sunlight for this spell. If this works I am going to talk to Marcus about helping fund his operation, I mean he will help to save everyone if it works so why not. Forgetting Marcus can hear my thoughts his laugh caught me off guard and then we both laughed. He agrees with me, if this works this Alpha will have the best grow in the world. He will also get more than just support for his grow, he will be given the option of a chosen one status and ability to become a dragon if he wants. But is a big word though and we have to see if it is going to work in the first place.
