Sleeping Queen

I got message right as I arrived and the Alphas pack house that my mate will not wake up and the egg has hatched. She is again taken away from out child when the most precious time is now for her to see them grow. I urge her father to stay there for a day while I help and then I will come straight back and figure out what is going on this time. Just once I would like to experience a joyous occasion with my wife without someone harming her right after. This time we don't even know what is going on with her because all she did was gointo the healing chamber and fall asleep with our egg. Now it's been over 24 hours and she hasn't woke up. She is deep breathing like her sleep is super deep and she is not acting like she is there at all. We have moved the egg/baby to the backup chamber for safety and watch because honestly, this doesn't feel like my wife. This feels like a pure untamed dragon from the hills and not a changling like us. Meaning that if I am correct, my wife has no soul. I don't even know how that would be possible but I need to find out if I am right before anything else is done, If she is gone from her dragon body than we have more issues than just that. We also have to deal with a pure blood dragon who has no idea why it is in a house instead of a cave and it's going to want to protect it's gold and jewels as well. All of this could end very badly for all of us if we don't find out what is going on and fast.


I leave for a bit and go and check on the egg it is getting close to hatching and I don't want her to miss another of her childrens births and growth. She already missed the first three and that was hard enough on her. She can't miss this too, I call her father in for a conference and to discuss some things. In the middle of us talking and trying to figure out stragedy Selene shows along with the very first Chosen. She is a pure blood dragon and when she changes she has blood red scales and blood red eyes. Her spine is black and tha is the only other color than the red. If she is here than something more is definitely going on, "Raven's soul is with me" is the first thing that comes out of her mouth, as I start to ask what is going on and why I am not even aloud to finish my sentence, "her mothers soul is with us too, there is much we have to do in a little amount of time. I bring you this potion to give Ravens dragon so no harm will come to this kingdom while we fix what has been broken so we have no more problems." with that the dragon disappears and only Selene is left. She wastes no time and goes straight to the chamber where the dragon is starting to wake up, she casts a spell for stillness and with that drops the potion down the dragons throat. With a sneeze and a watery eye the dragon lays back down and is fully out. I hope The elder dragon knows what is fully going on because I really just want Raven back and whole. With the horros I have seen in my time as a chosen one I know she has to in her years in the coven I really just want us to have some happiness together and a break from all of the shit.


I have no idea how long I am supposed to wait but I do know that now my family is safe here while wherever Raven's soul is I am not so sure about. I honestly don't think that the first chosen will allow anything to happen to her but, the words fix what was broken doesn't sound so good to me either. I do know that Raven can take care of herself when needed even without her dragon present. I am confused on why her mother is there but, it is also her mothers pure soul and none of the corruption it went through here on this plane, just it's purest form up with them so hopefully it is a good thing that they are together. I notify the other chosen of what is going on and that I may need a little extra protection around here when the word gets out that my queen is in a slumber of unknown time. When a chosen is alone and has not mated we are strong and full of rage and testosterone but after we find our mate and we are connected, when our queens are gone or injured we actually are weaker and the longer we are without our queen the weaker we get. So for me to be able to handle more than a few days of this I may need some help from my fellow dragons as to keep my home safe. Selene and the first dragon know this so I am hoping that they take this into account when fixing this problem. We need our whole family for our full strength and though her dragon is here her soul is what keeps everything together and pure. Panic is setting in nicely as I really have no control and I do not know what I am going to do. Ever since I met her and wanted to protect her I have faced nothing but challenges but you know what? I wouldn't have it any other way, I would never change anything for the fear that it would change me having her in my life and that I would never wish for. I will endure the worst pain of my life if it means that my queen will be by my side for eternity.


It has been a long week and it is only going to get longer. I let the house know I am going to sleep and I head up to my room, as I enter the room I can smell my mate and swear I hear her talking. As I enter the bathroom I see her in the mirror but she is not as I know her. This is over 300 years ago and she is angry. Her and her mother are fighting, though they only had contact a couple times after her mother left one of them was when she was older and I think this was it. They are fighting over her not wanting to go with her mother and her mother telling her that it will be for the best if she does because the future is not what she is going to want. The arguing is getting physical and her father enters the room, as he gets close a little boy comes running into the room as well and is crying and screaming at Ravens mother. Serenity kneels down and hugs the boy tight, she then reaches behind her back and brings forward a silver knife, silver is harmful to vampires and can kill them. As the boy is crying and begging Serenity to please not take his mommy away, I gasp with a shock of not knowing as I watch Serenity drive the blade into the boys back through his heart. He instantly ashes in her hands and is just gone, nothing left as she stands and tells her daughter that she now has no reason to stay here, her father isn't worth it. The vision ends in the mirror and I am left standing in the bathroom wondering how in the hell this is going to be fixed?
