My Son

He looks exactly like he did when he was mine the first time. He is around 2.5 feet tall and has blonde hair and beautiful blue eyes. He is already this big due to how fast dragons grow but, I am here this time and I get to see it all for the next two and a half months. That is more than I got to see with my first three kids so this is all new to me. He is already walking and talking and instantly saw me and called me mommy. He recognised me and all I could do was cry, I have missed him for so many years and now I have him back and he is growing so fast and so well. As we wonder the halls of the mansion he runs and plays and grows daily. In another two weeks he is going to be the size and age of 12. Within two months from that he will be 25 and full grown full stop. I am getting to see everything I missed when I had him the first time because he was not part dragon. He was only vampire so growth didn't happen like this at all the first time. He is a ball of energy and has fun running around and playing with his older brothers. They come and visit him almost daily and make sure that he knows what is coming and what to expect because of how fast things happen. The help is great since Marcus is busy with treaties and making sure vampire and wolf continue to get along and keep peace. Having a child that grows so fast makes clothes impossible as well another reason I am thankful for his brothers.


It's been another 3 weeks and Jaxon has outgrown everything that remotely fit him. He is almost 6 foot tall now and has only 7 weeks of growth left before he is a full grown man mentally and physically. His brothers have brought all of their clothes from when they went through this growth so he has different stuff to wear with each growth spurt. He is almost 6 foot tall now and has a deep voice like his fathers. He is respectful and protective already and wants to help his father and run things in the mansion when he is grown. He also wants to visit places around the world and check out stuff from our families history and more about the course and line of the chosen. After all both sides are his family and him wanting to know about them isn't all that weird, to a vampire it would be but he is half dragon. Well since I am part dragon now he is about quarter vampire but either way it is all part of who he is. Today we are having a family dinner and going to celebrate that we were able to make it to this stage and be able to have fun enjoying life as we should be. With everything that has happened since Marcus and I became mates I really am looking forward to some much needed calm family time. Sophie is even here tonight and is celebrating, she needs this just as much as the rest of us. She was used and then thrown away by her grandmother and against her will, I get her pain and wanting to distance herself.


There is a knock at the door and I imagine it is Sophie for dinner, when I open the door though instead of my daughter standing there, it is a man covered in blood and barely breathing. I should know better than to expect to have fun and not have something go wrong. I catch him before he hits the porch and bring him into the house. As I get him seated and we call the doctors to the house, my daughter comes barging in the room and shuts the door behind her. As she closes the door she comes running to the man on the couch and instantly is in tears and looking him over. His hand comes up and cradles her face and I can tell just by that either he is her mate or they have chosen each other either way he is in need of our help. First the Vampire doctor looks him over and can't find anything that she can help with, then our dragon doctor looks him over and agian there is nothing that she can do, not that he isn't in need of help he just isn't either of their species. Not knowing what he is and how to help him I turn to Sophie hoping she can shed some light on the situation, from the look on her face she knows but she doesn't want to say. Knowing my daughter she is worried we won't approve but happiness is all I want for my kids. "he is a lycan mom, and he is my mate" are the only word she speaks and the whole room goes quiet except for her father. "I know their king and doctor, help him as best as possible, it's a six hour drive and he won't handle it well he is going to need support." with that Marcus picks him up and carries him out and puts him into the car. He is not questioning it or taking his time, that is his daughters mate and he will do what he can to make sure that she does not lose that mate. She has been through entirely too much in her short life and losing a mate should not be part of it.


We head out for the journey to the lycan lands, my sons stay with my younger boy and help him to adjust over the couple days we will be gone. It won't take to awful long to get there and back I am just hoping that they can help him. Being a chosen one and my family also being helpful like that they will allow her to stay with him while they heal him and do what they can. Her being there will be able to help him heal as well because having a mate close helps with everything to do with us. Once mated our dragons depend on our bond and our mate for a lot including health and peace of mind, so her being there will make a big difference. Halfway there we hear a howl that is unlike any wolf I have ever heard and he responds to it with a howl of his own that matches it, knowing it is lycan and we are now in their territory makes me nervous but a bit better to. We continue on and finally reach the lands, as we get closer more lycan's join the journey until finally an entire pack is present when we enter the gate. Before the vehicle is fully parked the lycans have him out and are taking him into the house where my daughter follows them. My husband flashes his eyes and they all bow and kneel out of the way, he grabs my hand and walks me inside of the mansion as well. Once inside the doctor looks him over and assures us he will be just fine but would like to know how this happened. What my daughter explains next sends everyone into a scare and tells me I need to get back to my lands at once, especially since that is where this happened.
