Chapter 55
"Kylie, son.." That's how Mommy greeted me when she saw us entering Kenzo's entrance. It's eight thirty in the evening and we're thirty minutes late.
"Thank goodness, and you came too. Your Daddy and I have been waiting for you for a while." And then he kissed me on the cheek, he also kissed Kenzo. Kenzo and I both smiled at Mommy.
There were many guests and everyone was busy talking to each other. I also only know a few, those three Ariana, Selena and Samantha are my three witches along with three boys. They are probably dating. Oh my! It turns out that the saying 'flirt-flirt when it's my time' is also a trend among them.
Mommy took us to the table where Kent and Daddy were but Jiro and Aria were not there. I didn't ask where they were, it was better that they weren't here at least I didn't have to spend time with Aria.
Daddy nodded to Kenzo, and of course because Kenzo is kind, he also greeted Kent and he just nodded in response. It didn't take long for the waiter to come and then put wine in Kenzo's glass and served the appetizer. Which happens to be, Italian food. Aria's favorite.
"All the menu here, is from 'the k's'." Mommy said to us while serving the food, I nodded while repeatedly stabbing the chicken with my cheeses
inside the fork I was holding.
"Delicious." Kenzo got my attention because of what he said and then I smiled. He nodded and then took a piece of chicken and was about to give it to me.
"Try it, Baby. It's delicious." I nodded and then I opened my mouth for his mouthful, but suddenly the table moved so that Kenzo's hand was also moved, so the chicken that was my cheese spilled on my clothes.
Both of our eyes widened. Kenzo immediately took his table napkin and was about to wipe it off when suddenly he stood up to me and he was the one who wiped the chicken and cheese that stained my clothes with his own napkin.
My heart beat faster and I couldn't rest anymore. I looked at him and he was looking at me too our eyes met. My heart went wild again and again. I slowly walked away from him and I didn't notice that my seat was behind me so I sat down.
"Kylie." Kenzo and Kent said at the same time but I was losing myself so I didn't respond to them. What is Kent doing? Why is he helping me when Kenzo is already there?
"I-I'm fine." I just said and then I forced myself to stand up.
"Excuse me, I badly need to go to the powder room." I didn't wait for their answer and I continued to walk away from them. Just then I was lying comfortably inside the powder room, I immediately leaned against the back of the door and sighed.
What else do you want Kent? You and Aria are already married, so I hope you don't make me hope anymore, you helped me, of course I'm starting to hope that we can still be together.
I retouched and decided to leave the powder room, I was about to return to our table when my man suddenly pulled me until we reached the second floor of the clubhouse.
There is no one here because if they are not inside the clubhouse, the guesses are that they are at the golf course which is also just in front of the clubhouse and are busy playing golf. The whole area of the clubhouse is full of light, so it's easy for guesses to play golf because it's not dark.
"Kent what?!" I yelled at Kent when he stopped pulling me and then I violently pulled my hand away from his grip. I also looked at him, while he kept his expression blank in his eyes and face.
"Why did you bring me here?!" I asked him annoyed and I couldn't help but raise my voice. I tried to push him away from me but he didn't budge.
Instead, he came even closer to me, which is why I took a step back until my back was touching the flower boxes of the clubhouse. It is dark for the clubhouse to do this because it is not included in the one that was rented for the party.
"What?! Why are you so close to me?!" I was annoyed with him and the second time I tried to push him away from me again but like before he didn't budge.
That's how my entire system was lost when he suddenly raised one of his hands and touched the short hair. "H-don't mess with my hair!" I look at him, I am making a great effort not to let him notice that I am affected by his presence.
I also tried to hold his hand that didn't want to stop stroking my hair, but one of his hands only grabbed the other two hands. D.amn! I am hopeless. My situation is
hopeless. I swallowed one after the other so that the tears that were waiting in my eyes did not fall.
"Why did you cut your hair?" He asked me after a long silence, I didn't even try to get away from him because I was just wasting my energy. I didn't answer and I turned my gaze in another direction.
Silence enveloped us again until I heard his sigh. "I am updated of everything that you've been doing for the past two years Kylie and I am really disappointed, you messed up big time." And that's when the tears that I had been holding back started to fall one after the other. I don't even care if he hears my sobs.
I bit my lower lip and gathered all my strength to withdraw my hands from him and then I slapped him hard on the left cheek. The sound of I slapped him, my hand also went numb and my hand also scratched his face.
I really want to touch his cheek with my hand and ask if it hurts too much and I also want to apologize again and again because I slapped him. The last thing I wanted to do with him is to hurt him. I love Kent so fvcking much but what he did to me hurts.
It hurts even more than the times when I catch Aria and Jiro kissing somewhere. He is the when Jiro wasn't there for me, during the times when I was hurt because of Jiro, he always found a way to make me happy and forget me.
Then one night he suddenly married Aria. My whole world collapsed then, because he was the only one I had during those times. Everything he wants to do he accompanies me and then suddenly he does Jiro will be surprised, because I'm out of nowhere so that nothing can stop his marriage with Aria.
And the worst of all he left me in the air, he didn't even say 'hey' to me after the wedding. I felt like a stranger towards him. No more explanation, no more goodbye! Then now he will tell me that he is updated on what I have been doing for the past two years.
I was punching his chest, he didn't do anything to stop me. "Are you updated?! You are updated?! You're updated on what's happening to me! Then you didn't even do anything to help me! What kind of person are you?! I THOUGHT YOU LOVE ME?!"
And then I cried again and he hugged me so I stopped punching his chest.
