chapter 19

Elijah

When I open my eyes, I see there's a woman beside me. I smile at it cause I'm so happy that I finally can be with her back even though she's not open her heart for me yet. I will take this chance to redeem back my fault to her. I will never waste it. I slowly get off of the bed.

I make my way to the bathroom and take a short shower. After a few minutes, I get out with towel wrap around my waist. I look at the bed to see Alexa still sleeping soundly and I guess she's tired. I walk to my closet and choose a pair of black jeans and a white Tee to pair it with my black leather jacket. I wear my watch, spray cologne and put my phone and wallet in the pocket. When I walk out from the closet, Alexa still sleeping.

I go to her and sit on the side of the bed then move her hair from her face. She looks so beautiful when she's sleeping. I kiss her forehead and then look at her before decided to wake her up. I want to spend this few days with her in Italy. Maybe for a second honeymoon for us, I hope she agrees to it. I want to prove it that I am not the old Elijah anymore. I will always love her and makes her happy with me and our children.

"Baby...." I wake her up and she just moves a bit then sleep back. "Baby, wake up. Let's go and have breakfast.." I said softly and she opens her eyes slowly. She closes back when the sunlight hit her eyes.

"What time it is?" She asked.

"It's fifteen minutes to nine," I said and suddenly she wakes up with her eyes widen. "Why?"

"Oh my god! I have met at nine and I might be late if I don't move now. Oh gosh." She gets up from the bed and finds her heels and handbag. She looks so cute when she in a hurry. I just sit on the bed and looking at her running around the room. "Where're my heels? I can't find it. Elijah! Help me to find it! Don't just sit there and watch! Come on. " She called me and I walk to the closet and take her heels. I put it when I saw her heels in the middle of the room.

"Here." I show her and she quickly runs to me and takes her heels.

"Now, let's go. You need to send me back to the hotel as soon as possible. Come on." She walks out from the room and me faster my pace to catch her. Gosh even in heels she sure walks so fast.

Now, I'm in the car and wait for her to finish her meeting at one of the company near the hotel. I look at the watch and then look outside to see if she already out or not. She didn't want me to wait for her but I still want too. Whenever I got my chance I will use it until I succeed.

I get out of the car and waiting for Alexa to come out but it seems like she's not going out from that company yet. Then, there's someone calling my name. I turn around to see Georgia, one of my exes back there. What the heck is she doing here?

"Hey Elijah, my baby." I look at her shocked. I don't want Alexa to see me and Georgia here together because she might misunderstand.

"What are you doing here?" I ask her and look around anxiously.

"I'm on my vacation and then I saw you here. I think we're meant to be together, baby. Don't you think so?" She comes close to me and holds my hand.

"Don't touch me, Georgia. There's nothing between us anymore. We're over." I said but she just smiles sweetly at me.

"Elijah, we broke u because you don't want any commitment to hold other than your business not because you hate me. So why not if we get together just like we first met?"She seductively said. Oh no...

"Then what makes you think I will be together with you huh? I already have someone else in my heart. So you better go away from my life." She looks at me and raises her eyebrow. "Look Georgia, I think there's nothing I need to explain to you. We both have our own lives, so just continue that and be happy."

"You know, my mom used to say that if we want something, we have to fight for that until we succeed and don't ever give up so easily. Since I met you here, I think I've made my mind which is, to get you back with me just like before. Just like the lyrics in Ariana Grande's song. I want it, I got it."She said and I look at her with no expressions. This woman is unbelievable.

I don't know how long me and Georgia been talking here but then, I see Alexa walk out from the company with a smile on her face. Georgia still here and I don't want Alexa to see her. "You better go now. Go!" I said but then I think she saw Alexa. She wraps her hands around my arm. "What are you doing? Let me go." I struggling myself from her embrace but it's too late. Alexa is here standing in front of me and Georgia.

"Oh, hi there. I'm Georgia, Elijah's girlfriend. I see you such a beautiful woman but sadly he picked me rather than you." I look at Georgia shock when she said that.

"excuse me?" Alexa asks.

"Look, Alexa baby, this is not what are you thinking about. I and she are not in a relationship at all. She just a stranger and you need to believe me." I plead to her but her face shows no reaction.

"Wow, what a pleasant surprise. Georgia, you need to take care of this man because he is a bit naughty especially when he saw a sexy woman." I look at her surprised at what she just said.

"Wait what did you say, Alexa? I thought we were cool already and you said you want to accept me in your life."

"Oh, I think you must be mistaken. I did say but then I also said that I just accept you because of Gabriel and Gabriella. That's it. No more than that. By the way, my cab is here. Have fun you two. Bye Georgia, it's nice to know you." She waves goodbye and gets inside the cab.

I quickly get into my car but before I could drive away, Georgia gets in too. "What the hell? Get out." She wears a seat belt and acts like nothing. This is hard.

A few hours later

Finally, I am free from Georgia. I need to bring her to a mall and keep her company. I don't know why I did that but as long as I can be free from her, I am okay. I am now driving to meet Alexa because I need to talk to her about what happened before.

I walk to her room and press the bell. "Elijah? what are you doing here?" She asks.

"I need to talk to you about what just happened. I don't want you to think bad of me when Georgia said that I am his boyfriend or whatever. It's not true at all. I promise you."

"So your point here?"

"I love you, Alexa. I really do, there's no other woman in my heart except you..." Then she closes the door in front of my face. I was speechless and I don't know what to do.

Then, I find myself walking to the lift. I am so sad when she didn't care about my feelings. I really love her but seems like this is a way to hard. Too much obstacle in my path to get Alexa.

Next Morning

I wake up and answer the call without look who's named on the screen. "Hello?"

"Dadda!" I immediately open my eyes when I know who it is.

"My babies. Do you miss Dadda?" I heard they said yes and I am so happy to finally get to talk to them after a few days being here. I think this is the best opportunities to talk to Alexa. She must miss Gabriel and Gabriella.

Right now, I'm at one of the cafes near the hotel and waiting for Alexa to show up.

As soon as she saw me, she walks to me and takes her seat in front of me. "Hey." I smile at her but she just replies to me with a 'hmm'.

"So I'm here because I only need your mom's number phone. I need to talk to my babies. I miss them like crazy." She said and I understand that. I take out my phone and call my mom. She picks it up after a few rings.

"Hello." I put it in the loudspeaker.

"Hey Mom, I call you because Alexa really want to talk to the twin. Where are they?" I said.

"Alexa? Wait she's there? Oh my god! Yes! Finally you and her together back again. Okay okay, I will be wait for both of you to come here. Oh about the twin, wait for a minute." I look at her and smile. After a moment, she come back and I can hear Gabriel and Gabriella's voice.

"Mommy! Daddy!" They said in unison.

"Hey, my sunshines. How are you?" Alexa take my phone and talk to them. I just let her.

"I'm good but Gabriella cried last night cause she missed you," Gabriel said.

"Gabriella, I miss you too. I will come back in two days wait for me okay?"

"Okay! Yay!!" Gabriel and Gabriella sounds so happy.

We talked to Gabriel and Gabriella for a few minutes until my mom said the twin need to take their nap. I can see sad expression through her face when she hung up the phone.

"Baby, don't be sad. You can meet them in two days." I said but she didn't say anything.

"I have an idea, how about we go to for a family vacation next month? How about that?" I ask her and look at her face. "So?"

"Hmm okay but bring your family along. I don't want to be just four of us." She said and I nod my head.

"Well, that's fine. I will bring my family too with us and you can bring Thea too if you want too. I love you and our kids and I really want us to go on vacation sometimes." I said and she looks happy when I say she can bring Thea too...

Finally, my dreams come true. Four of us will become a very happy family. Even though she's not fully forgive me.
