The dare

"I am not a cheap slut as you said earlier and I must carry your baby! I will be back to claim you as the father of my child and be your wife!" She threatens Adan.

She just crossed the line now with her attitude. She doesn't know what Adan can do and undo. She not only risks getting punished but also puts her life at risk. Adan is having a bad day today and this girl just worsened things for him.

"How dare you speak to me that way! Guards!!" Adan screams and two guards come running in.

"Yes boss!" They reply in unison.

"Take this slut out of my house and dump her anywhere on the road where she belongs!" Adan commands them.

"Yes boss!" They reply as they begin to drag the girl while she struggles to put her clothes on.

"Send Marinette here immediately!" Adan orders.

"Yes boss! You, get her, I'll take this one out." One of the guards tells the other as they do exactly as instructed.

The cook is brought to Adan. She is scared to see him in anger.

"What is wrong again? Is there a problem?" She asks Adan.

"You brought me a bastard and ungrateful bitch and you are asking me is everything okay? Didn't you know that I hate disvirgined girls?" Adan screams at her.

"But she only did it once…what's wrong with that?" She asks him in return. She is the only one that has the courage to correct him and talk sense into him because he can't ever hurt her.

"Her hole was big enough that I couldn't even feel my dick inside her fucking pussy!" Adan yells those words to her.

"I'm sorry about that. I'm sorry Adan." She apologizes.

"You can go." He replies and turns his back on her.

She turns to leave then begins to sob. Adan gets calm as he hears her sobbing and turns to look at her.

"What's wrong Mari? I'm sorry I yelled at you…I'm sorry." He pleads as he goes towards her then carefully sits her on the bed.

"What's wrong?" He asks her.

"I hate seeing you like this…Adan please get married and make a family…you need a family by your side please…please Adan do this for me…you are wasting your life away and will forever not find peace and happiness…please let go of the past and start a new life…please Adan." She pleads with him amidst tears.

"I've told you severally Mari not to bring this up ever again. I hate women, I hate babies. I can't marry and never will…please! If I need a family around I have you Mari." Adan talks to her as he tries his best to be calm.

"But I am not family…I am not your blood Adan…I am only a maid to you…please Adan…please do this for me please…" Marinette pleads with him as she breaks into fresh tears.

"I hate to see you cry so stop crying. Don't let me lose my temper and punish someone else in your stead. Please!" Adan begs her.

"You have been with so many women. You still don't love any? No woman has touched your heart, Adan?" Marinette asks him in a broken voice.

"There is." He replies as he stares into the empty space.

"Really? Who is she?" Marinette asks as she wipes her tears and looks at him.

"I don't know where she is from. I only know her name and she is a divorceé. That's all I know about her." Adan replies.

"What is her name?" Marinette asks him.

"Yamileth Weston. That's her name." Adan replies.

"The same lady that provoked you?" Marinette asks.

"Just let it be. I can't marry her, I won't ever be a good husband to her or any woman not a good father to her child. If I marry anyone, it will be her but I'm afraid I'll not make the good husband she will want." Adan replies.

"But why is that?" Marinette asks him.

"I made her cry. She cries all the time and feels hurt because of me. She felt broken by me and I can't stand seeing her tears." Adan replies.

"Adan…you are a good person. You are soft on the inside but allowing your past to cloud your feelings and heart. You hate seeing people in pain and distress which portraits your kind heart. You are a good person and will make a better family man if you put your past behind. Please do this for me…" Marinette speaks softly to him as her words soften him.

"I'm sorry I can't. I can't do it." Adan replies then gets up from the bed and goes into the bathroom. He knows that she can't follow him there so he stays there longer until he is sure that she is fine before he comes out.

He feels down…her words pierced his hardened heart but his mind is made up. He is not going to fall in love in his life no matter what!

Marinette is still standing at his room door on the outside. She is thinking as she wiped her tears.

"I know what to do. I will find that lady and convince her to marry him." Marinette says to herself as she wipes her tears again then looks at his room door and leaves.

Adan comes out of the bathroom after he washed his face severally with running water from the tap. His mind is clouded up with different thoughts which he needs to let go.
