A doctor
Yamileth keeps dialing the number but he is not picking up. She leaves the phone for a few minutes as she tries to wash her face in the bathroom. By the time she returns, she sees a text message on her phone. She opens it and it reads:
Send your sister over here tomorrow morning. I want to have sex with her but if she doesn't, I will come not just for you and her alone but also your entire family!
Yamileth tries to call the number but it only keeps ringing without anyone picking it up. She can't put her sister's life on the line. She is confused and doesn't know what to do. She then tries to dial the number again when the number calls her instead.
Scared, she picks it up with a trembling voice. Adan's voice comes through as he laughs so hard at her.
"What's funny?" She asks him as she doesn't know why he is laughing.
"Were you scared? Come on kitty…I saw you and your chick earlier today. That terrifying look in your face makes me laugh even harder and I thought it would be a good one to pull a prank on you." He teases her.
"I didn't meet with you today so stop lying." She fights back.
"Yeah sure we didn't but I did see you. Not physical actually…on camera." He replies.
"Adan…why did you do that? Why did you kill an innocent woman? What wrong has she done to deserve that from you?" Yamileth asks him with tears rolling down her cheeks.
"Come on…"
"Don't you have sympathy? Don't you have a heart?" She questions him further.
"Sympathy? A heart? Come on…they should have had sympathy before wiping out my family! Don't tell me about that again alright?" He speaks deeply as though he is angry.
"What did she do to you? Killed your family? Even if she did, was it the best thing to do? Kill her?" Yamileth asks him.
"What I do is none of your business. Stay out of it." He warns her and ends the call.
Yamileth doesn't know what to do but she knows that the best thing is turn him in to face the consequence of his actions. However, she doesn't want to get involved in his dirty acts. She decides to cut him off their lives as she blocks his number and deletes it but…
Is this really going to help? Anita is still working for him and she can't just ask her to quit her job just because she feels insecure about him. No, she doesn't want to drag her poor little sister into this.
She was still thinking of what to do when she heard a loud crash outside her room. She runs out and heads into Anita's room and there she was, throwing up in the bathroom, again.
"You need to see the doctor this time, Anne." She tells her sister as she rubs her back.
"Or leave your job because of the stress." She adds slowly.
"I don't know sis…I just don't feel good these days." Anita tries to explain how she feels to her sister, not suspecting anything out of the ordinary.
"Well…maybe you are just going through a lot of stress. You need to rest, okay?" Yamileth tells her as she gives her some pain relief to ease off the pain she is feeling.
"First thing tomorrow morning, we will see a doctor." Yamileth adds as she tucks her sister into bed.
"Okay Yami but please don't tell mum about this eslee she'll freak out…please…?" Anita pleads with her.
"I will not…don't worry." Yamileth tells her as she rubs her head and they smile at each other.
The next day, they are at the hospital as they wait for their turn to see a doctor. Yamileth starts feeling sick as her feet begin to get swollen. The hospital environment all of a sudden turns her off as she feels nauseous.
"Are you alright?" Anita asks her.
"Yeah I'm fine…just…" Before she could finish her statement, she rushes to the bathroom meant for guests and throws up there.
"Are you…sure that you are not the one to see a doctor?" Anita asks her sister as she hands her wipes to clean up.
"Don't worry...I'm fine. It's just the hospital smell I hate so much and I guess it's making me puke." Yamileth replies as she cleans up.
It's their time to go in and see a doctor. Blood tests are taken on Anita and Yamileth as she needs to donate blood to her sister after the doctor confirmed that she needs some blood and she will be fine.
They are asked to wait for some time for the test results. After several hours of waiting, the results came out and they were invited back into the doctor's office.
"I have both good and bad news for the two of you." The doctor starts as he looks keenly at them. The two sisters look at each other then fix their gaze back at the doctor.
"Please tell us, what news?" Yamileth asks as Anita is already scared.
"Our blood doesn't match? What's wrong doc? Mum and dad can't know about this at least, they'll freak out…please…what's it doctor?" Anita asks in fear.
"Calm down ma'am, it's none of that." The doctor replies as she breathes a sigh of relief.
"Then what is it?" Yamileth asks the doctor as both of the sisters hold their hands together.
"Your sister here is a match." The doctor informs them as they hug each other in excitement.
"However…" The doctor adds as they both look at him.
"There is a little problem here." He says.
"Which is?" Both of the sisters ask in unison.
"We can't take blood from her." The doctor replies.
"Why is that? I thought you just said in a match so why?" Yamileth asks.
"It's going to be risky to you and the child." The doctor replies with a sigh. Both of the sisters look at each other in confusion.
"I'm sorry, what are you talking about? What child?" Yamileth asks in confusion. Anita is scared that she might be the one the doctor is referring to.
"Oh no! Were all of my illnesses just early signs of pregnancy? Am I carrying my boss's child? What is going to happen to me?" Anita sulks inside of her as her hand begins to get feeble and vibrates. Slowly, she releases it from her sister's.
