Chapter 21 I can give you another baby
The bar.
This was the sixth glass of wine that Ezra had drunk tonight.
Ezra sat on the sofa dispirited. He ignored the woman's obstruction beside him and poured himself another glass of wine.
For some reason, after he came out of the hospital, he was not in a good mood.
Originally, he intended to send Beth Ruth home directly. But somehow, he stopped the car at the entrance of the bar, and the inexplicable frustration and emptiness in his heart could not dissipate for a long time.
It was just a child who had not been formed, and he had already promised Beth that he would let Arabella abort the child.
This sudden accident helped him a lot, and it could let that woman stop having any delusions.
Ezra paused and suddenly raised his head and drank another glass of strong liquor.
The wine was good, but he inexplicably thought of Arabella.
The girl's eyes filled with hatred and her bloodless face appeared in his mind.
"Ezra, you can't drink anymore!"
Beth Ruth suddenly grabbed the man's wrist tightly.
"Ezra, are you so sad because Arabella's child is gone?" Beth Ruth held Ezra's arm and stared at him with some inquiries.
After coming out of the hospital, he had been absent-minded, and now he even came to the bar to drink.
He clearly knew that she had the so-called 'heart disease' and could not stand the smell of alcohol. He watched her follow in but did not stop her!
He was not like this in the past!
The man's abnormal behavior made her feel a strong sense of uneasiness. She could not control her anxiety. Her voice trembled as she said to the drunk man. "If you want a child, I can give birth to it for you!"
"Arabella's child is gone. You don't feel good..." As Beth Ruth spoke, she held the man's hand and brought it to her chest. "Shall we have another baby tonight?"
Ezra looked at the woman in a daze. His eyes were unfocused and he could only feel her mouth moving, but he could not hear anything clearly.
After a long time, the man finally responded and suddenly took the initiative to approach Beth Ruth.
Beth Ruth was delighted. Just as she wrapped her arms around the man's waist, Ezra suddenly threw up on her.
"Ezra!"
Beth Ruth screamed and pushed him away. She looked at the vomit on her body in disgust and found that Ezra was completely drunk.
Looking at the man who had fallen asleep, Beth Ruth frowned.
She cursed in a low voice and kicked the sofa beside her impatiently.
It was good news that Arabella had a miscarriage, but today, Ezra seemed to have been possessed and made himself like this...
Beth Ruth rolled her eyes as if she had thought of something, and her face finally showed a trace of pride.
"Alright, since you've always refused to have sex with me, then after I took the initiative, you won't deny it!"
The woman curled her lips and shouted at the restaurant manager to call for a taxi. She directly brought the man back to her residence.
Looking at the unconscious man lying on the bed, Beth Ruth gritted her teeth, as if she had made a decision. After a while, she suddenly leaned forward and reached out to untie the man's clothes...
The next day.
Ezra slowly opened his eyes. His head was in so much pain that it felt like it was about to split open. He raised his hand and pressed his temple. Out of the corner of his eye, he secretly looked around.
This was... Beth's room?
He seemed to be drunk last night.
Why did he come back without any impression?
Ezra frowned slightly. Just as he was about to sit up, a white arm suddenly wrapped around his waist. A hazy, soft female voice sounded beside him. "Ezra, you're awake!"
Ezra lowered his head. His arm unconsciously touched a smooth and delicate skin. His entire body immediately stiffened, and a trace of surprise appeared in his eyes. "Beth, you..."
The woman snorted like a spoiled child, her soft and boneless body sticking close to him.
The man's voice stopped abruptly.
Only then did he notice that the clothes on the floor were messy. The air seemed to be filled with an ambiguous atmosphere. The woman in his arms looked at him with a shy expression. There was a small patch of dark red on her collarbone and neck, which was particularly conspicuous on her white and tender skin.
Everything seemed to be showing what had happened last night.
Ezra's dark eyes darkened, and he suddenly pushed Beth Ruth away. "Beth, last night..."
Beth Ruth lowered her head with a shy look. She whispered. "Ezra, you drank too much last night. You hugged me and refused to let go. You even... hurt me!"
In the end, she looked up at the man with a red face and quickly glared at him.
Ezra raised his hand to rub the space between his eyebrows and did not speak for a moment.
Why was it like this?
He had clearly promised to take good care of her and never touch her before the divorce.
He didn't expect that after drinking last night, he actually...
Seeing that the man didn't speak for a long time, a trace of unwillingness flashed through Beth Ruth's eyes. She carefully asked, "Ezra, did I do something wrong?"
Ezra came back to his senses and he embraced her shoulder with a guilty conscience. His thin lips pressed against her forehead like he was comforting her. "I'm sorry, Beth. I was wrong last night. Don't worry, I will be responsible for you. After I divorce Arabella, I will definitely marry you grandly."
Beth Ruth lowered her eyes shyly, quickly concealing the pride and scheming in her eyes.
Sure enough, even though she had been away from Ezra for three years, she still knew this man like the palm of her hand.
"It doesn't matter, everything I have is yours, Ezra... No matter what you do to me, I am willing!"
The woman's eyes were gentle and tender, like a love-struck person who loved but did not ask for anything in return.
Ezra couldn't help but feel a little pity, bowed his head, and kissed her forehead.
It was getting late, and there were still a lot of things waiting for Ezra to deal with in James Group. He did not stay for long, simply told Beth Ruth a few words, got up, and left.
Standing in front of the floor-to-ceiling window on the second floor and watching the man's car drive away from her sight, Beth Ruth smiled proudly.
She knew Ezra too well. Now that he had slept with her, he would probably divorce Arabella soon...
Beth Ruth was in a good mood and slowly went downstairs.
Suddenly, the doorbell rang, but the servants in the villa had been driven away by her. Beth Ruth had to open the door by herself. However, when she opened the door and saw the man standing outside the door, her face suddenly changed.
