Chapter 23 I won't spare you

It was already dusk, but the hospital was unusually busy. The doctors and nurses came and went in a hurry, so they did not even notice the figure of Arabella who came out of the ward.
Passing by the nurse station, a few low voices of discussion suddenly entered Arabella's ears.
"What is the identity of this old man? Even the dean was alarmed?"
"Mr. James' grandfather, the most prestigious old man in the city!"
"I heard that his situation is not very good. When he was sent to our hospital, he was already in shock. If he could not be saved, would Mr. James blame our hospital?"
Arabella originally had no intention of eavesdropping, but her ears were sensitive enough to catch a few keywords.
Mr. James? Grandpa? Shock?
Suddenly, her whole body shook. She rushed up and interrupted the conversation of several nurses. "May I ask if Mr. James you are talking about is Ezra James?"

Arabella stopped breathing and asked in a panic, "Which ward is Arthur James in?"

Ezra was the last to arrive, followed by a worried Beth Ruth.
He had just arrived home when he received a call from Andrew James, saying that his grandfather had suddenly fallen ill and was sent to the hospital for emergency treatment.
He immediately put down the work in his hand and hurried to the hospital. After Beth Ruth learned of it, she also followed him.

Ezra frowned and did not speak for a moment.
He understood Arabella. His grandfather was in poor health. No matter how much she hated him in her heart, she would not tell him about this matter...
When Arabella arrived in a hurry, Arthur James' condition had stabilized. He turned into the intensive care unit to observe.
Ezra and Andrew James went to handle the hospitalization procedures. Only Gaby James and Beth Ruth waited at the door.
Arabella came in a hurry, and in a panic. She almost dropped one of her slippers.
Looking at the ward close by, she suddenly felt a little scared.
"Arabella, you still dare to come?!"
Seeing the woman who suddenly appeared, Gaby James immediately screamed, not hiding the hatred and anger in her tone at all. "It was because of you that Arthur James was hospitalized! You still have the face to come?!"
She looked at Arabella as if she was looking at an enemy. Her face became extremely distorted because of anger. When she rushed forward, she seemed to want to punch Arabella's face.

Grandpa suddenly fainted because he found out about her miscarriage?

The wound in her heart was torn open at once. Arabella was so painful that she could not breathe, and her face was pale beyond words.
"Auntie, don't be angry. I don't think she did it on purpose. Don't be angry..." Beth Ruth patted Gaby James on the shoulder and comforted her softly.
After saying that, she reached for Arabella's hand. "Sister, auntie is angry now. Why don't you leave first and come back later?"
Arabella was stunned for a few seconds. She suddenly came back to her senses and shook off her hand. "Don't meddle in my affairs. Who do you think you are?!"
Beth Ruth was flung away like a kite with a broken string. She fell straight behind and fell to the ground.
The next moment, Ezra's anxious voice suddenly sounded behind her, "Beth!"
Arabella's body stiffened, and a trace of mockery flashed through her eyes.
