Chapter 25 She'll be your servant from now on
"Ezra, you're back..."
In the bright hall, Beth Ruth was lying on the sofa looking at her phone. When she saw Ezra open the door and come in, she immediately looked up in surprise. However, when she saw the figure behind him, her eyes suddenly turned cold.
"Sister...?"
Why did this bitch suddenly come back? It was Ezra who brought her back!
Although she hated her in her heart, a smile quickly appeared on Beth Ruth's face. "Ezra is so good. How do you know that I miss Arabella? Arabella, come and sit!"
Arabella looked at her acting coldly, and a mocking smile appeared on the corner of her mouth.
Did she really take this place as her home?
Arabella quietly clenched her hands, her nails digging into her flesh, and did not let go even when she felt pain.
It was unknown when Ezra had walked over to Beth Ruth and sat down. He raised his hand and rubbed her forehead. His tone was casual as if he was ordering a servant. "Beth hasn't had dinner yet. Go and prepare it! Remember, she eats a light diet."
Arabella knew that he had said this to her, but for some reason, her feet seemed to have grown roots, and she was unable to move.
A trace of surprise flashed through Beth Ruth's eyes, and then she asked in confusion, "Ezra, what are you doing?"
"It's all because of her that you have a heart attack. From now on, she will take care of you. She will be your servant."
"Didn't she say that she doesn't want to divorce and is unwilling to leave this place? Then I will fulfill her wish." Ezra's tone was cold. "There is no any Mrs. James. In the future, Arabella will be James' family's servant. No matter what you tell her to do, she has to obediently do it."
Ezra's voice was abnormally cold.
"Otherwise, I can't guarantee when Aden Ruth will completely disappear!"
Arabella's breathing was rapid and her clear eyes were full of disbelief. She clutched her wrist tightly until she flushed.
She looked at the man in front of her and was in a trance for a moment.
Was this her husband? How ironic.
After forcing her to give up her child, he actually let the mistress come to her wedding room. As his wife, she was ordered around like a servant and even threatened with her relatives...
"I see..." Beth Ruth nodded as if she understood, but her lips curved into a cruel smile. "But don't worry, Arabella. Ezra is just joking. How could I let you take care of me? You just had a miscarriage. It should be me taking care of you. But I haven't eaten anything that you made for a long time. I really miss it..."
Hearing this, Ezra looked at Arabella again with sharp eyes. "Didn't you hear? Hurry up and cook it for Beth!"
Arabella clenched her fists and loosened them. After several times, she finally slowly walked towards the kitchen.
Watching her disappear into the kitchen, the smile in Beth Ruth's eyes gradually spread.
She really didn't expect that Ezra would actually give her such a pleasant surprise...
In the future, Arabella would be her servant. Just thinking about it, she felt it very interesting!
It's just that...
Beth Ruth rolled her eyes and suddenly lay in Ezra's arms. She said softly, "But Ezra, Arabella has never liked me. I don't dare to eat what she makes..."
"Don't worry! If she dares to do something bad for you, the entire Ruth's family will pay a heavy price!"
The living room was not far from the kitchen. Coupled with the fact that Ezra deliberately raised his voice, Beth Ruth saw the busy figure in the kitchen was stunned.
"Ezra, you're so nice to me..."
In the hall, two figures leaned together, talking and laughing.
In the kitchen not far away, Arabella was cooking numbly.
Originally, she was a pampered young lady. But for the sake of Ezra, in these three years, she had already developed a set of exquisite cooking skills.
However, she did not expect that she would serve her husband and mistress with her cooking skills.
If her parents knew about it, how heartbroken would they be...
However, now that her parents were busy with their own business, she could no longer cause trouble for them.
As long as she could stabilize Ezra, she believed that with her father's ability, he would be able to solve the current crisis very quickly...
Soon, delicious food was prepared and served on the table. Ezra directly carried Beth Ruth to the dining table and helped her pick up the dishes.
His movements were meticulous and pricked Arabella's eyes.
For the past three years, Ezra was able to sit down and eat the food she cooked was a great gift to her, so how could she dare to imagine more.
However, now that he was with Beth Ruth, she saw that he could also have such a considerate side.
Arabella felt suffocated in his heart. He directly took off the apron on his body, turned around, and went upstairs.
After glancing at her wretched back, Ezra's eyes darkened, but did not say anything, still slowly and methodically feeding soup to Beth Ruth.
When Beth Ruth caught a glimpse of the man's gaze, a strange feeling immediately arose in her heart. She looked at the soup in front of her and suddenly frowned. "The soup is a little salty..."
"Is that so?" Ezra murmured in a low voice. He put down the bowl in his hand and filled some rice for Beth Ruth. "Then eat some rice and ask her to pay attention tomorrow."
Beth Ruth wanted to say something but hesitated. In the end, she could only nod her head obediently.
She wanted Arabella to cook again, but Ezra did not understand what she meant at all...
Never mind, there would be plenty of time to teach her a lesson in the future!
Arabella went straight back to her room.
Fortunately, Ezra still had a bit of conscience and did not let Beth Ruth live in their bedroom. Otherwise, she would really go downstairs and scold them.
Or perhaps, he did not have a conscience, just heartily dislike her? Dislike to sleep in the bedroom again and not willing to sleep in the master bedroom she once slept...
Arabella lowered her head and looked at the dressing table at her bedside. There was the wedding ring that she and Ezra used when they were married.
At that time, everyone smiled and blessed them, saying that they were a match made in heaven.
She also often remembered that alive ceremony three years ago. She was wearing a white wedding dress and standing side by side with him.
Everything that happened that day was like bubbles that would disappear if she touched them. Even if the people below the stage cheered, flowers flew all over the sky, and the vows of the Holy Father echoed in her ears. Under the holy light, only she and he stood in the middle of the crowd. She was still terrified and afraid that it was a dream.
It was not until the man put the wedding ring on her ring finger that Arabella could not help but shed tears.
At that time, Arabella really thought that she could keep this happy dream after receiving everyone's blessing.
Unfortunately, as long as it was a dream, there would be a day when she would wake up.
Beth Ruth returned to the country and gave her a hard slap, waking her up from her dream.
Arabella fell on the bed as if he was discouraged, clutching the bedsheet tightly.
She knew in her heart that she could only rely on herself!
