Chapter 33 You can only die by my hand
"I underestimated you, Arabella." Ezra pinched Arabella's neck and laughed in a low voice. "Do you think I can't do anything to you just because you are dead? Let me tell you, I have many tricks up my sleeve. If you think everything will be over after you die, then you are too naive. I will not let your parents go."
Arabella raised her heavy eyes and looked at Ezra. Her hand that held Ezra was cold and powerless.
She had a face that looked like she was ready to die. Her eyes, which were already hopeless, flashed with a bit of hatred. She smiled slightly, and her tone was actually a bit playful.
"Don't worry, I won't die before I completely make you feel disgusted."
Seeing the hatred in Arabella's eyes, Ezra instantly lost his appetite.
He shook Arabella off, stood up straight, and said word by word. "Arabella, I haven't played enough yet. I want to see how many lives you have left to play with me."
Arabella was thrown to the edge of the bed, her body weak like a kite with a broken string, and she struggled to support herself and coughed a few times.
Seeing that Ezra kept looking at Arabella, Beth Ruth, who was standing on the side, was a bit dissatisfied. She pinched her thighs, squeezed out a few tears, and opened her mouth with a tearful voice. "Arabella, why are you so stubborn? Ezra and I have already given you many opportunities. If you die now, you will only make uncle and aunt sad."
"You clearly know how kind Ezra is. How can he bear to watch you commit suicide like this? After all, we saved you. It was not easy for us to save your life. But now you treat your savior coldly. Is this what Uncle Ruth taught you?"
Beth Ruth smiled slightly in a place where Ezra could not see, but her tone was still tearful.
"Arabella, I saved a dog. It still knows how to be grateful, but you really make us sad now!"
Arabella was so angry that she laughed. Her eyes were cold as she stared at the "younger sister" who was acting in front of her. She did not hesitate to throw a pillow at her.
Arabella's voice was hoarse, and the disgust that could no longer be concealed caused the corners of her eyes to turn red. "All of you, get out of here. Isn't it enough to kill my child? What exactly did Ruth's family do to raise a bitch like you?"
There was no way for Beth Ruth to avoid it. She was directly slapped on the face by the pillow. Her delicate hair was instantly scattered. A thick layer of foundation was immediately printed on the white pillow.
"Ahh!"
Beth Ruth screamed in horror. She retreated a few steps, just in time to see the patient passing by outside the door laughing at her. The shame, anger, and unwillingness immediately surged up.
Beth Ruth looked at Arabella fiercely. However, she was worried about Ezra, who was beside her. She could not even speak a word of anger. She bit her lower lip tightly. The tears that were forced out of the corners of her eyes finally became real. She looked at Ezra with a grievance. "Ezra, I think I should go. My sister is angry now. Maybe she doesn't want to see me at all."
How could Ezra stand Arabella's impudence? He stepped forward with a cold face and slapped Arabella a few times without hesitation. "Arabella, who do you think you are? Don't you want to die? You can only die in my hands."
How could Arabella, who was already weak, bear the slap of Ezra?
She was like a rag doll that could not be ravaged. Ezra casually threw her to the corner of the hospital bed with a wave of his hand.
"Arabella, you should divorce Ezra as soon as possible."
Emma hugged Arabella with heartache, only to realize that the friend in front of her was so thin that only bones were left.
"Can I help you find a lawyer? You are still young. Didn't we agree to travel together before? Now I will accompany you, okay? We will leave this city now. You can go wherever you want to relax. You stay by my side obediently. Just treat it as feeding a dog these years and get rid of the control of that lunatic Ezra as soon as possible!"
Looking into her best friend's concerned eyes, Arabella smiled slightly. She knew that the unwillingness in her heart was her last support these days. If she did not know that she had to save her parents, she would have been completely destroyed by Ezra.
"But Emma, I can't accept it." Arabella's voice was still soft and gentle.
But now, all she had left was exhaustion all over her body and even a trace of madness and paranoia.
She also knew that she was sick.
"I have never done anything wrong to James' family. Ezra wants me to be good, so I let myself be a useless full-time wife at home. He wants me to be filial, so I'm obedient and endure Gaby James and Andrew James... As long as it is what he wants, I can do it."
Arabella smiled wryly and pointed to her chest with her index finger. "Emma, have you never seen someone as cheap as me?"
She paused and suddenly said slowly, "But now, what he wants is our Ruth's family's life."
Arabella's veins bulged. Her usually quiet eyes were filled with madness. However, she actually chuckled. "Emma, I can't take it anymore."
Emma's breathing stopped. She looked at her strange friend in front of her and subconsciously hugged her. She caressed Arabella's back in a panic and comforted her. "Of course, you can't! You have suffered so much. Now, you can do whatever you want!"
Arabella leaned on Emma's shoulder in a daze and did not speak again.
