Chapter 32 Get the hell out of here!
It was this move again.
Ezra chuckled, not hiding the contempt and impatience in his eyes at all.
"Arabella, if you really dare to attack them, I will let Aden Ruth slash at the exact same place in your body."
Ezra's voice was magnetic and deep. He raised his deep eyes slightly and sneered at Arabella, "Just try it. Today, there is no blood. I, Ezra, will never let you go."
Arabella's eyes widened, and the hand holding the knife trembled slightly. She subconsciously withdrew the knife. Her throat tightened.
In terms of ruthlessness, no one could compare to Ezra James, and even if she dared to gamble with her life, she knew that Ezra would really do what he said.
The panic and uneasiness in Arabella's eyes pleased Ezra. His thin lips curved, and he raised his chin to the people next to him. He lazily embraced Beth Ruth and stared at Arabella as if he was watching a good show.
"Alright, don't worry about her. You guys move quickly, and I will deal with it if you hurt her."
Seeing that Ezra was getting impatient, the men standing at the side who had been impatient for a long time immediately surrounded her and violently pulled off Arabella's collar.
Arabella cried out in alarm. Suddenly, she felt a chill on her left shoulder. Half of her shoulder was exposed.
Arabella's slender and flexible shoulders trembled slightly. Her white and thin shirt was half exposed, and her soft skin was like white porcelain. There was a red mark. It was so white that it was dazzling.
Several men subconsciously swallowed their saliva, and the corners of their eyes immediately turned red because of the lust. They anxiously stretched out their hands.
"Don't! All of you, stop!"
Arabella pushed them away with all her might, but she almost stumbled from the force of the collision. The man's rough fingertips rubbed against her. Her neck was immediately dyed a bright red. The blood on her lips faded away in an instant.
The man's thick hands wrapped around Arabella's shoulders. The visual impact of the dark and light skin color and the dense eyes of the woman made Ezra's eyes flash with a strange look, but it quickly disappeared.
Arabella was surrounded by the man. She grabbed her shoulders in a panic. The knife in her hand was like a joke. These bastards seemed to not care about her resistance, and they treated her every move as a flower that they casually played with.
Arabella trembled weakly.
Perhaps, from the day she insisted on marrying Ezra, her fate had already slipped in an uncontrollable direction.
Her family members were in an accident one by one. She felt a sense of helplessness that she had never felt before. The men who covered their faces became more and more unbridled. Her heart was surging with despair.
Was she really going to be raped by such a group of monsters today?
She suddenly saw a small beam of light from her messy hair. That was the only way she could escape from this humiliation.
Arabella no longer hesitated. She picked up the knife and slashed it at her wrist.
It hurt. It really hurt...
Dark red blood immediately gushed out. Arabella's slender and white hands instantly flowed with blood, and the dark blood beads quickly dyed her white dress red. It was piercingly cold like a glaring flower.
Arabella had not rested well for a few days. She had suffered from a miscarriage and was physically weak. Now she had lost blood. She felt a wave of dizziness. The gaze she used to look at Ezra became blurry.
"Are you satisfied now?" Her pale lips curved slightly. Her five fingers that were clutching her sleeves tightened. The clear and visible joints seemed to be easily broken in the next second.
She looked at the people in the room with hatred. Her breath was filled with the smell of blood.
It's so dirty. Everything here was so dirty. If she was really going to die today, she would atone for her sins to her parents...
Arabella felt her body becoming lighter and lighter. The half of her arm gradually lost its temperature because of lost blood. Finally, her vision went black, and she completely fainted.
Seeing Arabella lose consciousness and fall into a pool of blood, Ezra's face instantly turned ashen. He was inexplicably a little flustered and stepped to Arabella.
He picked up Arabella and found that she was shockingly light. Her body was so weak that she could not even breathe.
"Get out of here!"
He roared with bloodshot eyes and rushed out with Arabella in his arms.
The Central Hospital received a patient who had lost too much blood in the early morning. When she was sent here, she had entered a short period of shock because of low blood sugar and malnutrition.
When Noah Hall was called by the director, he had already been standing in the operating room for five hours.
"Ellabella's condition is not good. She is very weak, just after a miscarriage also suffered a cold. The knife wound on her hand is self-inflicted. The cut is very deep, so it seems that she has no desire to survive."
It was the first time that his warm eyes were so serious. He looked at the director, and he said in a low but firm voice, "I suspect that she has been abused by her husband."
"Noah, don't talk nonsense!"
The director frowned and interrupted him. He looked at Noah disapprovingly. "Arabella is Mrs. James. It is not our place to speculate about their private affairs. The only thing you have to do is to cure the patient. Don't talk about other things."
Noah Hall did not reply. He just looked at the director deeply, nodded slightly, and went straight out.
"Noah, go home directly after the operation. Say hello to your father for me."
The director behind him sighed and called out to the man.
He knew that this child had always been kind and gentle. He even was willing to help a passer-by who met by chance.
But Arabella's identity was different, and he could not help even if he wanted to!
Noah Hall seemed to have not noticed the warning in the director's tone, and he did not stop.
In the corridor outside the ward, Ezra was half leaning against the wall. Some dim lights covered his side profile. The cigarette between his fingers was only half left, and the smoke scattered around his feet was blown by the wind, but he still stood there straight.
The nurse who passed by wanted to step forward and remind him a few times. But when she saw Ezra's dark expression, she subconsciously retreated a few steps.
Perhaps even Ezra did not notice how abnormal his current state was.
He was used to fighting and bleeding, even on the day of Arthur James' accident, he was still calm and indifferent.
But this time, his heart started to panic for no reason...
