Chapter Thirty four

Logan sat at end of the dining table while eating with Eric, they had been silent now for quite some minutes and he had been waiting patiently for her to start the conversation.

"How is Ramona? That was the first question she asked that took him by surprise but he didn't bother showing it. "It whites unlike you to ask about her," he said picking the salad in his food.

"Nothing this day, it unlike me Logan" Logan raised his head to watch her for some time "Why have you called me here, Eric?

Eric smiled and slowly pick up her glass and sip her drink. She knows how impatient Logan might be but she had chosen to play with fire, that had always been the most interesting part.

" You didn't tell me that she has a twin," she said calmly while taking him by surprise, Logan's eyes widened in surprise and interest. He wanted to ask her a dozen things but he have to choose his words carefully.

He wouldn't try to hide the truth because Eric here, has already known and if she wasn't so sure about it, she wouldn't have brought it up now.

"Didn't know she'll be found out? He said as he dropped his fork back on the plate to watch her closely. "What I don't understand is why you've kept it a secret". "I have my reasons.

"Which is? " She doesn't want to be found out" Logan replied. "Because she's a human? Eric asked, " No, because she's afraid of me". Logan responded.

"That doesn't explain why you left your heir with him, you know the curse and the danger if she's being found out, your heir and Jasmine would be in danger, you have caused great disaster for the black wolf and they wouldn't hesitate to get back to you".

" You know her name, this shows that you've done great research," Logan said instead "I got curious Logan since she came to Heaven with her mum" "I see" was Logan's only response on hearing this.

"Did she know she has a twin? " Not yet but she will definitely when the time comes to her twin back".

"Why don't you try and get her back? "I admit it is not that easy, Eric, Jasmine could have her now, to heal her days of pain but when it's time, she'll have to come back for her rightful place and I'm clearly aware of the danger and curse and I assure you that nothing of such would happen, so theirs no need to be worried"

"Having an heir by a human is one thing but...having a twin is another, if ever found out, it would turn out to be a disaster, Logan, such you'll never expect". Logan pushed his seat back and stood up with a stern smile on his face and without a word, he walked up to her and bent over to kiss her on the cheek.

" Nothing would happen to both my heir and the woman because I still have them under my care" Eric watched him as he made to leave. "I heard you finally got the wolf, Logan? The one that attacked the farmer? " I found out it was a sorcery wolf". A sorcery wolf never adhered to any rules of any pack, they only obey the master which was the witch who had cast her spell on them.

"What would you do with it now since it had attacked the loyal". " I gave it to my daughter as a gift and tomorrow she would kill it in front of both parks as revenge, nothing or nobody should dare challenge her".

She watched nil leave the room only then did she push her plate away, she was, of course, done with the good.

Logan made his way out of the mansion, he knows of course how terrible it was for the secret to being found out by any other demi human, they'll try to get to him using it. He had promised Jasmine that he would never visit her till it was time for Eleanor to return.

But now, he thinks it was time to visit her, he wouldn't like anyone to get to him through them but could he just break the promise now? He doesn't know or understand the reason why this scares him but no matter what he was going to keep guard.

Eleanor sat with Evan at the lunch table and for some reason, she couldn't stop thinking about the woman she met yesterday. She wonders who she was, well, she hopes that she was going to see her some other time.

"What are you thinking of? Evan tapped her on her arm to get her attention. "I'm thinking about the woman I met yesterday in "Heaven". "Heaven? Evan stared at her awkwardly. " Yes, I went there with mum and she told me that it was a place all the people with high status in the countries work, you should try going there, it is super majestic"

Eleanor nodded. "And what about this woman that you met? " She told me that her name is Eric and I think I like her". "You can't just like someone you just met, silly! He taps her head with his finger and she ends up pouting her lips at him.

" A seven years old kid, can't say such things...you'll end up getting kidnapped one day". "You also can't say anything you like just because you're ten! You'll end up getting kidnapped too". She rolled her eyes at him.

" I won't, I'm smarter than you! "Impossible! She yelled at him, she always have him doing such an argument. There was a pause for some time as she totally ignored him and ate her lunch.

" Tell me, hope you're now feeling better, I don't want you to skip any more school". "I'm better now and I won't skip school again," she said still without looking up at him
