CHAPTER 14


HAVEN'S POINT OF VIEW



The next day, I was overly excited so I woke up earlier than Hadron. I saw him still sleeping soundly on the floor, as usual.


I pouted.


I can't help but to slightly feel guilty for letting him sleep on the floor instead of making him sleep on the bed where he truly belongs.


This is afterall his room. No, actually, he told me earlier that this isn't his room at all. He said that his room is at the last floor of the mansion before the rooftop. And that floor is exclusively for him only. No one else is allowed to go there beside him and the maids that he ordered to clean that floor every day.


He told me that eversince I came, he wasn't able to visit his own room again. He said that he just wanted to stay wherever I am. The reason why his clothes was inside the closet is because he ordered some of the maids to move some of his belongings here for he is staying here for a bit.


He only wanted to stay in this room because it is connected to his office, which is also the library. And of course, he said that it's because of me too. Because I am staying here.


I decided to take a quick shower and then dressed myself up with a black hoodie jacket and a short shorts. The jacket isn't mine. It is Hadron's but I choose to wear it since I really like wearing his shirts. It's oversized and besides...his woody scent plus his manly perfume lingers on his shirts. I love smelling it.


After I dressed myself up, I wrapped my wet hair with the white towel before going out of the bathroom. My eyes drifted towards the sleepyhead.


I chuckled lightly when I heard his snore.


An idea came out of my mind. I giggled and the proceeded with my plan. I slowly approached him and then sat beside his sleeping figure.


I giggled again, just thinking about startling him. I was about to hold his face to startle him when he suddenly opened his eyes...and it startled me! He startled me instead!


I yelped in surprise. I was about to gather myself to stand when he suddenly held my waist and pulled me closer! I landed on his chest. I even think it made a thump sound since it was so sudden and unexpected! Unexpected! I didn't expected him to do that!


My original plan was to startle him! Why am I the one who was startled at the end?!


"What do you think you're doing, hmm?" He whispered using his husky voice. It was so obvious that he just woke up just by guessing his voice!


I bit my lower lip as I unconsciously buried my face on the crook of his neck. I don't want him to see my probably red as tomato face!


"Why did you pulled me?" I asked, slightly irritated that he actually got me. That was quite unfair! I should've got him! That was my plan!


The brute chuckled. He caressed my waist lightly. "Well, baby, I asked you. What were you about to do, huh?" There is an amusement in his voice as he spoke. I frowned.


"You pulled me!"


"Because you were hovering over me, baby—"


"I am not!" I interjected, irritated that he seems to have so much fun in teasing me. It's probably his favorite hobby and I am starting to hate it!


"Well, you are. Were you about to give me a sweet good morning kiss, huh?" He chuckled. "That's why you hovered over me—"


I slapped his chest causing him to chuckle even more.


I was not going to give him a kiss! But now that he reminded me of that—


No!


I shook my repeatedly.


"Let me go! You have to take a shower already! You promised me you're going to tour me around the village." I told him. He just groaned and hugged me tightly even more.


"Hey!" I tried to scold him and pry his arms around my waist that's tightly clinging unto me but it won't budge.


"You're wearing my hoodie, baby. You smell like me now." He groaned like it was a huge pain for him. "I like that. I like that you always smell like me. So everyone will know that you're mine and mine alone."



It took me minutes to finally convince him to get up and shower. Thank goodness he obeyed me or we'll be stuck inside the room the whole day...and I don't want that. He promised me to tour me around the village so he should keep that.




"Come on, baby. Don't play mute on me now. Are you still mad at me, hmm?" He teased, poking my side softly so I jerked away from him immediately.


I glared at him. I am ticklish on that part but he probably doesn't know that.



"You're making fun of me again!" I hissed. I stomped my feet while going down the stairs. I heard him let out a chuckle.


Oh, I really hate that teasing laugh of him!


"I am not. Baby, come on!"


The breakfast wasn't that peaceful since Hadron was doing a good job on irritating me.

Up until we were out of from the mansion, he still manage to irritate the hell out of me.


Fvck! Why does he suddenly got into my nerves?! I was just stopping myself from lashing out to him because I should stay a good girl. Yeah. I'm a good girl, really. But I wonder why my horns shows up whenever he's beside me?!


"And welcome to the Village of Vandeleur Pack, baby..."


There was no words that left my mouth to be able to define the village. Well, it was far from the village that you usually see in the middle of the forest.


It looks more fabulous, so clean and you will really see how healthy the environment is just by looking at the people. And they were currently watching us too. Some of them wears nothing but confusions and curiousity in their eyes, while some was just smiling at us.


"King," A woman approached us with a bow and I gasped when I saw her. She was the same girl who smiled at me when I had a dinner with them in the mansion before. Well, it wasn't that long ago.


She smiled at me and slightly bowed too. "Queen,"



"Baby, this is Racie. She's Beta Zero's younger sister and she's just one of the assigned people in watching out the village. They patrol around the village every night. The other guards patrolls around the pack lands to make sure that no one will step into our territory. Unless, they're here for business." Hadron told me as he started to caress my waist. I saw how Racie's eyes drifted on Hadron's hand on my waist. She only smiled and shook her head.


"H—Hello, Racie. It's nice to meet you," I said with a quite small voice.


Racie's smile widened even more as she gently shook her head at me. "No, Queen. The pleasure is all mine. Trust me."


"Anyway Racie, I want you to tour my Queen around the village."


I quickly turned to him when I heard what he said. There was an obvious confusion on my face and I know he saw that.

He said he's going to tour me around!


"Where are you going...?" I slowly trailed off, not wanting for him to think that I was being clingy.



He smiled gently at me. He even crouched down a bit to kiss my forehead. I closed my eyes to savor the moment but immediately opened it when he stood straight.


"Beta Zero mind linked me, baby. He needs me back in the mansion. We have some few things to discuss about the guy from Farrington Pack. I'm sorry if I won't be able to tour—"



"That's okay!" I exclaimed, smiling. I almost forgot his duty as a leader here in Vandeleur Pack, and... I almost forgot about Delta Ryan too. I wonder how is he doing right now? One of these days, I might be visiting him in the dungeon. Well that is if, Hadron will let me.


His eyes narrowed when he saw how excited and happy I am with the fact that he'll not be able to accompany me.


"Why are you so happy, huh? You happy that you won't be able to be with me today, huh?" He said with a mocking voice but there was a clear amusement in his eyes.


I nodded repeatedly to answer him, and when I saw his shock face, I immediately unattached myself from his hold, dragging Racie with me to get away with their King.



"Baby! Come back here, Cerise Haven!" I heard him called me as I ran with Racie. Racie and I were chuckling as we listen to the probably stressed out King.



"I've never saw the King being playful like that before." She managed to say after we stopped running. Racie turned to me and smiled. "I remember, he was always composed, cold and strict. He never smiled nor laughed with anyone, not even with his family. And I'm so glad that our King immediately warmed up to you. Please don't break him, Queen."
