-HER-

I find Lisa waiting for me as soon as I step out of his office. She grabs my hand and pulls me towards the exit while I am trying to come to terms with what happened there.

She doesn’t stop. She takes me to the place where our group generally meets. Everyone is already there, waiting for us. I am in a daze, which breaks soon as they start to ask me questions.

“What happened?”

“What did he say?”

“Are you expelled or something?”

“Did that bitch gave your name to him?”

I am overwhelmed by so many questions at once. The possibilities of a headache dance on my forehead as I shake my head at them. It’s been hardly an hour since I came to college today and I already want to go home.

“He has found out that it was us,” I start speaking after they’re done asking their questions, “But he doesn’t know that all of us were involved. He knows this for sure that Lisa and I vandalized his office,”

“But how? How did he find out?” Troy wonders as he runs his hands through his hair. This question seems to eat everyone. How? How did he know?

“I think Holly must have told him something. We need to find out,” Lisa speaks and everyone nod, buying it as a possibility.

“Is he going to get us expelled?” Lisa asks. It’s the first time I am seeing her worried. For the first time, she looks concerned about the consequences. The anxiety that had been disrupting me for the past couple of days seems to have finally struck her too.

“No, but he wants me to help him rearrange his office after classes,” I tell them, remembering what went down in his office. We were standing so close and… it makes my heart stutter to think that I’d have to go back in a few hours.

“I’ll go with you,” Lisa speaks but I shake my head at her, “He told me to go alone,” I tell them and soon, receive pointed looks from them.

“Strange…” Ivy mutters for the first time. The looks on their faces make me even more anxious.

He did not say anything about expelling me. All he said was to help him rearrange the place since I vandalized it. It’s fair and easy. I shouldn’t be feeling this anxious, right?

But I couldn’t stop feeling anxious. There’s something that tells me that there’s more to this then we know. That knowing look on his face when I was talking to him in the office is haunting me. It’s as if he has something in store for us… for me.

“I still don’t get this,” Ivelle speaks, “What’s that?” She points to Holly’s ID in my hand. Lisa recognizes it right away and takes it away from me.

“He told me to give it back to her,” I tell Lisa as she examines the ID. A frown climbs on her face instantly.

“So, he knows that we tried to frame Holly?” She asks and I nod. “Did you tell him why we did it?” She asks further.

Her question directs everyone’s eyes on me instantly. Blood rushes to face and the trauma comes back. To be honest, I have somewhat come in terms with what went down in the fresher’s part. Whatever happened was horrible but I am getting used to it slowly.

I am getting used to the attention that it brings me. I shuffle on my feet before I slightly shake my head at them.

“Okay,” Ivy mutters for the second time. The air around us gets somewhat uncomfortable before Lisa speaks again, “So you’re going to go to his office after classes?”

I nod.

“I’ll give it to Holly,” Lisa says clutching holly’s ID. She looks vengeful. I sigh. I know that this isn’t over for us yet.

“We should just let her go now,” I said and saw everyone scowl. It made me roll my eyes. I couldn’t believe them. They still wanted to take revenge from her after we have failed and been caught framing her.

“Holly shouldn’t get away,” Troy speaks. I sigh.

“Guys, I am not into this anymore. I think we should stop. I tell you all to stop,” I try again and see the look of disappointment climb on their faces. No one says anything as we leave for our classes.

Lisa is silent beside me as we climb the stairs to our class. When we reach near the class, I soon realize that I’d have to face Holly now. She must be very angry at us and I don’t know what she will do for that.

My eyes instantly fall on her as soon as I enter the class. Holly and her group’s attention instantly fall on us too. I am somewhat getting used to being watched. I look away and busy myself with taking out my notebook and pen.

“Sup, bitch? Heard you tried to frame me but it turned against you?” Holly spits at us. She must have walked to our table when I wasn’t looking. Lisa doesn’t look at her as she puts Holly’s ID on the desk.

Holly snatches it away right away, “Bitch, you messed with the wrong person,” She threatens us before walking away. I keep my head down and don’t pay much attention to my surroundings.

I am sure almost the whole class saw our exchange. I pretend as if nothing happened. I take out my phone and check texts while waiting for the professor.

My heart stops beating when I see a text from an unknown number. It doesn’t take me long to realize that it’s his. He used the same number to call me this morning.

‘When are your classes ending?’ It read.
