-HER-

After the dinner is over, I am in his room checking my phone, while he is taking a shower. He walks out in nothing but a towel wrapped very low on his hips. He doesn’t bother putting on pyjamas before getting in the bed.

“Hey!” I giggle as he reaches for me the first thing.

“I’ve missed you so much,” He groans before his mouth is on my neck and one of his hands is disappearing beneath my blouse to search for his mark. A moan slips past my lips as soon as his fingertips brush on my mark before he gropes me.

It’s been more than a week since we’ve been together so I am able to understand his neediness. Desire floods into my chest through the bond while he continues to devour my neck. My body reacts to him right away.

“I’ve missed you too, Jake but at least put something on?” I offer as I run my hands through his wet hair. I hear him sigh deeply against my skin. He loves it whenever I run my fingers through his hair or massage his scalp.

“What’s the use when we’ll be taking them off soon anyway?” He grumbles against my skin before my blouse is being tugged by him. In the next moment, he’s taking it off until I am laying bare under him.

His eyes darken instantly and the next and the last thing that I clearly remember about the night is his mouth descending down on me before a high wave of pleasure washes my night away.

In the morning I wake up due to the commotion caused by him. He is an early riser and I am a very light sleeper so I couldn’t stay late in bed, at least not without him.

“Would you like to go outside?” He asks me nonetheless, knowing that I’d find it hard to go back to sleep. Also, it has been long since I’ve met his wolf physically. I nod at him before getting up and getting dressed while he watches me silently.

Together we go downstairs without making any noise. Everyone in the house is still asleep. The sun has started to rise and anyone’s hardly awake. I wait for him to phase before his wolf is all over me- licking and sniffing me like any domestic pet dog. I couldn’t help but giggle at the way he wags his tail when he's very happy to see me again.

Soon, he lets me get on his back before dashing into the woods for a run. Earlier I used to be very scared of the speed and the way he runs but now I have gotten used to it and starting to enjoy the morning runs with him.

At one point in the deep woods, he’d stop and let me down to play with me while no one’s around. It surprises me to know that he could be this playful and but still be a predator. After a couple of rounds of running and chasing, he rolls over his back while I rub his stomach.

I have to throw my head back and laugh at his puppy-like behaviour.

“Awwww, you’re so cute,” I couldn’t help but comment. He growls at this and tries to show his canines to me as a reminder of the predator that he is. If anything, it makes me laugh harder.

He spends the remaining time licking and sniffing me while I run my hands through his fur. His wolf likes it the way Jake likes it when I run my fingers through his hair.

“What are you trying to do, Chance?” I gasp when he tries to sneak into my blouse. I freeze and let him sneak his snout into it. A strong wave of sparks travels throughout my body as soon as he lightly licks the mark.

“Chance,” I draw out breathily as my core starts to pulse with need. This encourages him to continue licking my mark before it’s followed by light nibbling. It doesn’t take him long to finally latch on to my breast and sucking it hard. His rough tongue laps on my tender nipple while his sharp canines are roughly clasped around my mound.

It’s not painful but rather stimulating. I know it's going to leave angry marks later. I am a moaning mess while with each passing moment, my core throbs more and more with need. My southern lips tingle as he continues to do delicious things with his mouth.

I am absolutely new to this and I would have found it very bizarre in any other situation but now, as my logical part is blocked by lust, I couldn’t think of anything but wanting to have him inside me. My core clenches meanwhile, crying to be filled.

He growls, sensing my arousal. I can feel the desire flowing from his side too. Even though we made love last night, it still doesn’t feel enough.

“We can go to the cabin,” I tell him breathily. In the next moment, he makes me get over his back before he’s running to the place where we united for the first time. I am being kissed heatedly after we reach there. My senses have been hijacked with pure desire and all I could think of is having him inside me. I could sense the same sense of urgency on his part too.

Even after he has phased back into his human form, I know that it’s his wolf who’s on control. He seems demanding more than ever as we make love. The way I am being fucked by him so early in the morning, I feel like I am going to be sore all day.

After countless rounds of lovemaking, I am filled with his seed while he cradles me and kisses me all over my neck and shoulder. Every time we make love, I feel like we have been transported to somewhere else. After spending some moments together, we go back to the house to get ready for the day.

After showering together, we head downstairs to have breakfast. Although, Jake leaves soon after breakfast. I choose this moment to sit down with Brooke in the office to start working. She starts by explaining the hierarchies in the pack and in the council and their functions.

“You’re a very fast learner, Cybele. Good job!” Brooke spares no opportunity to cheer me up. I grin at her like a five-year-old who has been awarded an A+ on her test.

“Thanks, I am enjoying this,” I tell her.

“Well, good for you. There’s always so much work. If you don’t enjoy doing it, you’d start feeling like hell,” She tells me as she moves through some documents regarding pack transactions. I form my lips in an ‘o’ as she explains other things to me.

“These would be needed to couriered to the bank before the council audit,” She explains as she puts the papers in a big brown envelope and seals it. At the mention of the council, I could feel some hesitancy from her side but I act as calmly as I could. Although I know that we'd be soon talking about this and it's necessary for us to talk about it.

Brooke later takes me around the pack to look at some places and meet the in-charges of different things around the pack and explain to me how everything is coordinated by the beta couple. It’s the evening when we finally return home.

I am glad to find that Jake is already back. The four of us hang out in the study until dinner. Today seemed to be a very productive day. I learned a lot about the pack and the work. I am slowly starting to feel confident about it but there's still underlying anxiety that I just cannot seem to overlook. I hope it disappears soon.
