Chapter 23

The pain in my thighs made my legs feel weak. I latched onto the edge of the bed, and I went down on my knees. I got up and got myself dressed in last night's sexy birthday dress. I tied up my hair casually and looked back at the man in the bed with a confused look.

I headed to the door as quickly and quietly as I could. The door of the presidential suite was left open, I led a small head that peeked in and looked around to make sure there was no one else inside the room.

My curvy body- figure roamed up and down the corridors of the hotel. I was nervous and my heart malfunctioned from the thrills of events I had experienced. I lacked words and the energy to continue anymore on what I felt like a burden and a task to partake in at a gunpoint. I felt like I really needed that shot rather than going through all this shit.

I wasn't worth them at all. I was all alone, and all I wished was, that I couldn't have gone far from D., at least he could have prevented and protected me from these, he had warned me.

But I couldn't hear nor listen to his words, it was my time to suffer from my own pride.

It was Twelve minutes past the hour, the clock was ticking at the twelve o'clock mark. No one was in there, apart from the maiden, who was just opening their doors for the business of the day to kick off.

She had already cleaned the premises and put everything in their order. She sat on a tall three-leg stooł close to the counter browsing through her phone. "Hello ma'am" I calmly and in a weak voice greeted at far, the entrance as I entered, swaying from side to side and walking in a zigzag pattern, I held myself and supported myself against the door frame. I looked at the maiden from afar, my eyes were pale, I looked dizzy, and my hair was shaggy, as I held them by my index finger throwing them to my back.

"Hello, how can I help you please?" The maiden then responded as she dropped her cell phone on the cashier's table, Suddenly she got off the stool, and went to the counter, to check her stock and count the beer bottles too. "Wine, liquor, or spirits?" The maiden asked, as she continued to count and index over the bottles, "I would rather take whiskey today!" I said as I tried to move my legs sluggishly and heavily, dragging them towards a small table that was at the far right corner of the entrance.

"You seem not to be you! What happened? I have seen you all over the news, that you are the new wife of the billionaire. But to the contrary, you ain't happy huh!"

The maiden said as she laid two glasses on the table, rushing away to pick two bottles of Vodka and then coming back as quickly as her legs could take her to the table on my right.

"Here are your things ma'am enjoy with great honor!" She uttered and went back, she slowly looked back from time to time as she tried to confirm whether whom she had seen on the TV was really who was sitting in her club and being her customer at the moment.

[First glass, second... The first bottle, second and third] I couldn't control it anymore, now on the TV all over, on the news, I had a feeling that father had influenced that. But I would not be easy on the person he had asked me to marry. He seemed too old to me, his money, his cars, or his fame never Scared me at all.

Time was moving and evening came. The deem lights of the sun penetrated through the blue blur window pens of the club, reflecting the glasses standing on my table, I started dizzying off as I felt like I was losing my sight and my consciousness, my head lost balance and it started bending from side to side even as I struggled to maintain the balance, things seemed to be getting out of hand, as I began to see blurry things and dark objects, my sight was getting away too.

I tried to stand but I couldn't, I had now completely lost my balance, I pulled off one of the glasses from the table, and accidentally it went off to the ground. I had thought and was optimistic that the bottle could be something of help, and heavy enough to help me get back to my feet.

Everyone in the Club turned their necks to look at me, I was tipsy and all watery on my clothes off the whole body, even as I endeavored to walk away and get to the dance floor when my favorite music was playing from afar. I had already stolen everyone's attention in there, they all ) looked at me, amazed and surprised, my legs were weak, and I could rarely stand for two minutes before falling to the ground and I really needed to get some support from anyone who was close to me.

I moved from table to table, as I made tastes of the different glasses. "Here's another bitch who doesn't have respect!" One lady shouted and held me heavily by my neck, she pulled me towards her and she looked directly into my eyes," This is ridiculous! How could you put your mouth on my bottle?" She carelessly shouted as her eyes widened, giggled and as well ground her teeth together.

"Move out you shameless woman!" She cried out as she pushed me away, I lost control and fell to the ground helplessly. My eyes could barely see, I struggled from the ground, holding anything that came my way, trying to support myself on the ground. I was then caught in trouble after my glasses started breaking when I tried to support myself against tables. "Get her out!" Another lady in a brown leather jacket commanded as she instructed her boys to get rid of me.

Quickly as instructed by their boss, the bodyguards resumed work and they carried me lightly on their shoulders, towards the exit of the Club. I was weird, I looked so dizzy and exhausted, I was tipsy, never like this in my life before, I couldn't even move my hands anymore, everything seemed impossible to me even as I crawled out of the dark pit outside Club, in the middle of the city.
