Chapter 78

Lug Nut

I’m in place at the front of the church with my best man Axel and groomsmen Rowdy and Tank. I can’t stop myself from looking around and thinking about the phone call I got earlier. I can’t believe Ailee was worried I wouldn’t show. Wild horses couldn’t stop me from coming today. I will admit a small part of me was worried Ailee would show. I kept thinking she would figure out that she was marrying down while I was marrying up. The church was decorated tastefully. The pews had fall leaves and ribbons on the end. There was an archway that I was standing under covered in leaves and the ribbons were the club colors. I wouldn’t think they would go together but they did. It was sweet that Ailee tried to include part of my life in the ceremony. But I should have expected anything less from her.

I look out at our guests and see Ailee’s side is packed and overflowing to the side for my family. There are even people standing around the back and side. Some are guests, some are guards. The amount of people here for Ailee was astonishing. But I don’t feel bad for myself. Even though my side was packed with people, the ones who were here were family. And that is all that mattered. But I did notice Ace was missing from his seat. I could have sworn I saw him here earlier. Where could he have gone? Maybe he went to the bathroom but he better hurry up. We are about to start.

Just as I think that the music starts to play and the doors at the back open. The first out is our ring bearers, Bastian and Alana. Bastrian is in a suit similar to mine with a small kutte. Ever since Jace got one when Axel and Rowdy got married to Merigold all the kids have wanted one. Alana is wearing a sparkly yellow dress and a tiara on her head because Ailee said all the girls should feel like a princess today. Next came our flower girls Kadance and Kassidy. They were pulling a wagon that was decorated in leaves and vines. In the wagon was my sweet little girl smiling away at everyone. Hooked to the wagon was a basket of plastic leaves the girls were using instead of flowers. All three had on dark yellow dresses to match Alana.It was cuteness overload.

You could hear the guests say ‘aww’ and ‘oh so cute’. When the kids were in place the ladies I regarded as sisters came out. Gretchen was first carrying a bouquet of fall flowers on reds, oranges and yellows. I smiled at her as she made her way down. I caught Brick and Speed looking Gretchen up and down with hunger and lust in their eyes. Two kids and a few years into marriage and they are still hot for their wife. It is good to see. I’m sure that won’t be the only couple that I will see checking out their wives. And it makes me feel good. I hope in twenty plus years I’m still checking out Ailee.

Lilly was next and I was right. Tank was watching her like he wanted to grab her and throw her over his shoulder to make a fast getaway. When Merigold came down Axel actually growled. The girls looked great but I needed to see mine. I looked over to where Ace was supposed to be and he still wasn’t there. Damn it Ace, where the fuck are you? Ailee is going to be heartbroken if he misses this.

The door opens again just as Lilly starts singing ‘Running Home To You’ by Grant Gustin. Everyone stands and turns. I turn just in time to see the most gorgeous sight I have ever seen. Ailee, my bride. She is wearing a champagne strapless v-neck style princess gown. It goes all the way to the floor and trails behind her. When the light hits it you can see diamond type gems and emeralds. Her make is flawless making her look like she belongs on the cover of a magazine. Her hair is pinned back in waves going down her back. She is wearing a silver crown with diamonds and emeralds on top of her head. The veil is attached to the back of the crown going down her back. My girl looks like an angel sent down just for me.

Oh and I found Ace. He was looking like a proud papa walking Ailee down with Cormac on her other side. As they were walking I could see her dress and veil went on for at least four feet behind her as she glided down. By the time they got to me I felt like an hour had gone by even though it was no more than two minutes. We stand in front of the priest and Viper? Where did he come from? Ailee sees my confusion and winks at me. She had something to do with this.

“ Who gives this lass to this man?” the preacher asked. Cormac and Ace say at the same time “ We do.” They bring Ailee to me and place her hand in mine after kissing her on the cheek. We turn and face the priest again. I lean in and whisper “ You look incredible.” Ailee smiles and says “ So do you.” I’m wearing a similar tux as I did the night of the gala. So are my groomsmen. Ailee wanted us to be as comfortable as possible.

The priest goes through his speech about how we are being united under God, family and friends. How marriage is not a commitment not to be taken lightly. Trust me man I wasn’t. The priest asked us to turn to each other for our vows. “ Do you, Ailee O’Sullivan, take Travis Leblanc to be your lawfully wedded husband? To have,to hold. In sickness and in health. For as long as you both shall live?” the priest asks. Ailee smiles and says “ From now until my last breath.”

“ Do you Travis ‘Lug Nut’ LeBlanc take this smart, caring, beautiful, badass lady to be your wife and ol’e lady? Do you promise to treat her better than your bike? To place her above your club and your brothers? Do you promise to meet all her needs? To make sure she is satisfied in and out of the bedroom until you piss her off and ends you?” Viper asks. Leave to Viper to make this wedding a little crude but so much like our MC. I smile at Ailee and wink. “ Until I take that final ride in the sky.” I said.

“ You may now present the rings.” the priest said. Alana came over to me and Bastian to Ailee. I grab mine and take Ailee’s hand as Viper told me to repeat after him. “ I, Travis, take you Ailee to be my wife and ol’e lady. With this ring I combine our lives. The good, the bad, the sexy and icy from now until the end.” I say as I slide the ring on her finger. Ailee takes my hand and slides my ring just over the tip of my finger. “ I, Ailee, take you, Travis as my husband. I promise to be by your side from now until I unite with my ma. With this ring I combine our worlds. I’m your ride or die.”

When she slides the ring on my finger the priest says “ I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss your bride.” “ Finally.” I say making everyone laugh. I grab Ailee around the waist and dip her before pressing my lips to hers. Ailee wraps her arms around my neck as I kiss her. Since there are kids present we keep it sweet and light. No need to get hot and heavy in a church.

When I set Ailee back on her feet Katrina starts clapping. Then she does something none of us could have planned for. She lifts her arms like she wants to be picked up, says “ Dada.” and makes the kissy face she does when she sees me and Ailee kiss. Ailee gasps and my jaw drops. Other than babbling, that is the first time she spoke. And she called me dada. My sweet girl's first word was dada. I don’t even think. I walk over and pick her up from the wagon. I give her a kiss on the check on the way back to Ailee. Katrina giggles and smacks my cheek. “ Dada.”

“ Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you the O’Sullivan LeBlanc family.” Viper says earning a round of cheers that has Katrina giggling harder. “ I present our future queen, king and princess of the O’Sullivan clan.” the priest says. Everyone but the Mc stands, places a fist over their hearts and bows.Over two hundred people. Holy shit that is cool.I saw my club was just as impressed as I was. I followed Ailee’s lead on this one. We faced everyone, heads held high. Ailee placed her fist over her heart and bowed in return.

I followed which wasn’t easy with Katrina on my hip. The people have shown me respect and I was going to return it. They are a big part of Ailee’s world. Now my world. When we stood back up everyone was clapping. Cormac’s eyes were beaming with pride. I think some of it was for me. Now that I was married to the best girl in the world it was time to party.
