CHAPTER 11

"So you mean, he did introduce himself to you and he already said his name too and that he is an Omega?" Shiena asked me.

I was currently observing the room that Orion destroyed. After what happened, I didn't get any more calls or anything else from him. He already done messing up with me and I don't think I'll let him slide next time.

No. There wouldn't be another next time.

"Yes. That's correct." I answered her and nodded while looking around the room.

This is not a room for Ken, I would like to use this room to become a mini library just for him. After he introduced himself to me two days ago, we had a little conversation, about the things he likes and then he said to me that he likes to read books, so I think this will be good for a mini-library.

The truth is that I am happy because he shared with me what he likes and I feel that he is slowly gaining trust on me, he is slowly getting closer to me.

"Okay. But it seems that you're happy, Alec? What happened?" Shiena couldn't help but ask me.

"Do I look happy?"

"Yeah. Weird. You're blooming but at the same time you don't have a love life." The smile on my lips disappeared and I looked at Shiena who was now smiling at me.

"The one with a love life spoke."

"Why? I have it!"

"I don't believe you, Shiena."

"Ask Allison."

I stopped. Why did she mention that woman here though?

"What do you mean by Allison?"

"Well, she said to me that she'll visit you one of these days. So, you need to prepare a really good meal when she visits."

I also took my eyes off of her and walked to the window and watched the scenery from afar. "Why do I have to prepare a meal for her? She can use the kitchen to cook her own food."

"You're so cold! She's a guest okay?"

"Cold? She's the one who's cold, Shiena. And don't ever mention her name again, I'm getting annoyed when I'm hearing that name." I looked at her and she immediately sighed.

"Psh. Okay. Anyway I gotta go, I need to check on him again. And he was asking too if you're going to visit him. It's been two days since you and him talked. Want to come with me?" Shiena asked and stood up from her seat.

I looked around the room again. "You go ahead. I'll go there after I talk to Felix." After I said that, she immediately nodded and left the room.

When I was left alone inside, I immediately called Felix, five minutes later he arrived. I want him and the other pack members to get the books from the main library, I also told them what will happen inside that room, what design and what are needed.

I'm expecting that this will be finished within two or three days.

"Okay. Leave it to us, Alpha Alec. But, I just have a question, why did you make this place a mini-library even though there is a main library inside the house?" He asked in surprise.

Even Shiena had the same questions for me about that but I didn't answer. I don't know if the term is right for me to do this for Ken after I found out that he likes to read books. I feel ashamed to think about it and I might not be able to show my face when I tell them the truth.

But doing this made my heart happy.

"Because It's closer to my room."

"Huh?" I had no intention of answering his question anymore so I walked out of the room.

I know what he needs to do. OK! Time to visit him again. While leaving the house, I suddenly remembered that I wanted to bring some fruit for him. I don't know, I just want him to finally heal after what happened to him when Orion came that day.

I went straight to the kitchen and noticed that there were three she-wolves busy cooking something. When I came towards them they stopped cooking at the same time and looked at me.

"Oh, I'm sorry for the intrusion. You can continue what you're doing." After I said that they bowed at me and continued what they were doing.

I went to one side when I saw fresh fruits on the plate, I took one and it looked like they had just been picked. I turned to the three and was surprised because they seemed to cook a lot.

"Who's going to eat all of that?" I asked and Elisha was the first to answer with a ladle in her hand.

"Doctor Shiena, Alpha Alec. She ordered us because the kitchen in the small clinic was broken, so she is making us cook." She answered politely and I nodded.

Why didn't I know this? She didn't even tell me that she needed it?

"Where's Shiena?"

"She cameback from the hospital, but she will be back here soon." Tina answered me.

She was looking at me and I saw his gaze drop behind me so I turned my back. I just didn't expect the person to be there holding an apple.

"Tina can I—" he stopped speaking and must have noticed the person in front of him.

When our eyes met, I couldn't help but be stunned and amazed. His blue eyes are so fucking beautiful. A small smile appeared on my lips.

"Ken?"

"Alpha Alec?"

We called each other's names together. He suddenly returned the apple he was holding in the bag and bowed slightly in front of me. I would have stopped him but he managed to bow in front of me and immediately looked up.

"What are you doing here?"

"Uh, Doctor—err, Shiena I mean, she brought me here to help them cook." He answered and pointed to the three she-wolves who were busy cooking. "I said, yes since I also like cooking." He added raising my eyebrows.

Does he like to cook? I didn't expect that it makes my heart happier to know that.

"Well, so, you like to cook?"

"Yes, Alpha." He answered with a wide smile on his lips.

And after that, Pine pointed to a plate where he said he had cooked earlier. He said that the three were not very convinced that he knew how to cook so he cooked him a food that he knew how to cook. And he cooks five pancakes, there's still two pancakes remaining on that plate, he reached to it and handed it to me.

"You want me to eat this pancake that you cook?" My smile is still plastered on my lips.

How can I brush my smile when this guy is in front of me? I'm happy with him and at the same time I don't want to take my eyes off of him.

"Yes, Alpha. But it's not poisoned." he answered which made me laugh.

"I know. But I want you to test me." I said and gave him a fork.

I saw that he was slightly surprised by what I said and stared at me. But he immediately smiled too and took the fork from my hand. He took a little bit of the pancake that was on my plate and brought the food slightly closer to my mouth.

I was stunned for a few moments when I stared at Ken, because he came to me and leaned slightly because I was taller than him, so I could see his face more closely. I swallowed for a moment. I feel like his eyes are slowly hypnotizing me.

When he suddenly spoke, "Say, ahh?" He opened his mouth, so I immediately did the same while looking at his lips.

Since when did I have the habit of looking at other people's lips? He brought the fork closer to me where the pancake was stuck, when the pancake stuck to my tongue my eyes returned to his eyes again.

And from there, I noticed that he was already looking at me when I looked at him again.

I pulled back suddenly. Fuck! I actually felt something kick my chest! I feel like he can read my mind! Suddenly, my heart beat faster! Is it because i'm nervous?!

Wait... what the fuck is happening to me?

I heard soft giggles so I turned around and saw Elisha, Tina and Pine laughing quietly while Ken and I looked at each other.

Wait... don't tell me they saw us? They don't right? They don't see us!

"Alpha Alec?"

I automatically turned to Ken, "Yes? Why?"

"How's the taste? Is it good right?" he asked as he smiled widely.

Because of that I suddenly swallowed what I was eating. How can I supposed to answer that if his face was so shining in front of me?

"Y-yes. I l-like the taste." I answered even though I didn't really taste that pancake properly.

I'm confused and I don't know what to think when I'm in front of Ken now. When he heard my answer, the smile on his lips grew even wider. This time, I put my hands on my forehead, bit my lip a little, and closed my eyes for a second. Fuck this, he's so cute.

He was so fucking cute.

"Alpha Alec,"

"Yes?" I immediately looked at the three behind but they were not looking at me but at the kitchen door.

And there I saw Shiena leaning the side of the door with her arms crossed while smiling. I don't like the smile on her lips.

Even before she came close to me, I took the fork from Ken and finished the two pancakes that the guy in front of me had cooked. I don't want to give the rest to the woman looking at us now.

This pancake is mine, mine alone.

When my eyes landed on Ken I saw him looking at me worriedly. But I didn't expect that when I swallowed I suddenly coughed so the four rushed to give me water while Shiena's laughter echoed in the four corners of the kitchen as she watched me die from coughing.

"What was wrong with you earlier?" Shiena asked me and slapped my arm.

Why she's still asking me when she alry knows? I'm sure she saw that.

"Your ears are red, Alec. Are you blushing?"

"Shut up, Shiena." I hissed.

Then she suddenly laughed as if there was something funny in what I said. I turned to the kitchen where some pack members were busy with the food that had been cooked earlier.

I saw him eating from a small plate and talking normally with the she-wolves. I smiled because even though he had been here for a week, he quickly he was comfortable with around them. They already know that he was an omega because some of the pack members are omega too. But by birth not because they're from that place.

"Looking for him?"

"I said shut up."

"Why do you want me to shut up? You're mean."

"I'm not mean. Your mouth just has nothing good to say."

"Really? If that's the case, do you want me to tell Felix and David what I saw?" I quickly turned to her and before she could get away from me, I grabbed the back of her clothes.

"Where do you think you're going?"

"No! Alec! Let me go!" She screamed loudly but I had no intention of letting her go.

"You know a lot, Shiena. I have to put you away."

"What the fuck? No! I'm sorry! Please let me go!" She tried to pull her clothes that I was holding but I didn't let go.

I looked at where they're, Ken and I immediately looked at each other so I smiled and waved at him. We are behind the big house, also behind the kitchen.

I thought he wouldn't come near me and Shiena but he walked near us. Only then did I notice what he was holding, he was holding a pack of juice. When he stopped in front of me he handed it to me, I let go of Shiena and finally faced Ken.

"For me?"

"Yes, Alpha Alec. They give a lot inside so I thought you might like it." he answered making my smile widen.

I'm so fucking crazy. And seconds ago I was just surprised when Shiena hit me who was now by my side.

"Where's mine?" Shiena asked with a frown while standing next to me.

"Oh wait I'll get—"

"Ah! No! No! I'll just stay here and get mine." She said and smile at Ken.

Look at this girl? Change her mind quickly. When he left our place, Ken looked at me again, he drank the juice he was holding so I drank mine too.

We just stood in front of each other in silence until I heard Ken's question that stopped me.

"Alpha Alec?"

"Hmm?"

"Thank you."

I wondered. "Thank you for what?"

"For helping me. Giving me food, a bed, and a home inside of your territory. Even though... I'm not totally came here." He said in a most sincere voice.

No. I should be the one to say thank you to you, Ken. Thank you for coming here.
